Okay how the hell a certain magic weilder survived the last issue is beyond me. It looked like the end for them, but I guess it was just some homage to Japanese tentacle porn. Owells.
This issue is setting up the final 4 issues of this series. With John going all in and recruiting someone else. A bit of a relief for Jon and Damien here. And plans moving forward with SOME hope. This series is probably about to get real dark again next issue but this was a nice breather.
I read this series as soon as I come home from the comic shop. The issue is pulled by my comic shop for my son, but I pick it up and pay for it, just to be able to read it quickly! A great series.
This issue kind of slowed down a bit, as they set things up for the end. The first two issues ended with great cliff-hangers that totally wowed me. This was a little more subtle. But still written and drawn so darn good.
Last issue ended with Constantine, Zatana and others in deep trouble. This issue we get to see what the outcome of that was. Interesting thing those rich folk in that bunker were cooking up. Once back home, Constantine has a plan but he will need help from a certain person that’s going to be a tough sell. A slightly slower issue as far as not all the crazy death and mayhem, but still a good issue.
