What do too much wine, too many bad dates, and a wedding dress have in common? The start of my crazy summer vacation. I don’t know what I was thinking when I purchased the honeymoon package, but two thousand plus dollars later, I’m on a plane headed for Vegas. Things only get worse from there. My luggage is lost, I get caught in a torrential down-pour and my reservation is nowhere to be found, and that’s just within an hour of landing. Needless to say, I’m ready to call it quits and go back to Sweetville.
Then in walks Spencer Cunningham to save the day. One look at him and I’m agreeing to all his plans, but what happens when my time is up? Can I walk away from him, or will I leave my Sweetville behind.
Spencer Cunningham
Growing up in Sin City isn't all it’s cracked up to be. I might be rich, young, and single, but my life is far from stellar. I’ve got a crazy family, and I’ve been put in charge of the Cunningham empire. Between board meetings, keeping an eye on my baby sister, and staying sane, I don’t have time for love. Until she barges into my resort, wearing a wedding dress and changing my whole future.
From the moment I lay eyes on Graciela Mendoza, I know she’s the one. And the more time I spend with her, the more I know she’s my soulmate. I’ll do anything to keep her, but will everything go up in flames as our time together comes to an end? Or will I get the happily ever after I want so badly?
Most days you can find Pixie running around trying to juggle 100 hats...one of which is Author. BTW, She still can't believe that's what she gets to call herself one. What started out as a passion for book blogging turned into publishing her very first novella...Sealed With A Kiss.
Pixie who is part of the LGBT Community, writes MF, FF. & MM stories that are sexy, insta-love stories full of heart and with a HEA.
Her characters not only fall quickly, deeply, but are also possessive in nature. If she's not writing, then she's on Facebook...Tell her to get the hell out of there and get writing.
Sweet and steamy without all the sex. I really connected with both Spencer and Graciela which honestly has been a difficult thing for me to do lately. Gracie is an elementary school teacher that follows her life plan religiously. Spencer is the CEO/Owner of a string of hotels, restaurants and other ventures and barely has time to sleep let alone date. It was love at first sight for these two and they spent Grace's 2 week vacation getting to know one another. A very happily ever after.
This story is very different than what I have come to expect from Pixie Chica but trust me when I tell you it's in the very best way. I absolutely LOVED Put A Ring On It and can't wait to read the others in the series. I really enjoyed reading a book where the sole focus was on the relationship and not sex. I hope that these ladies are setting a new trend
Romance trope: insta-love Series: Steamy in Sweetville Length: 109 pages
Plot: Graciela accidentally booked a short vacation to Vegas while she was drunk. When she wakes up, her friends convince her to take the trip. She finally agrees, and when she gets there, there are several mix-ups that leave her frustrated, but then she meets the CEO of the hotel, Spencer. He knows she's meant to be his bride from the very beginning, and he has a time limit to convince her of that before she goes home.
Commentary: The author made a purposeful choice here to focus on the development of the relationship instead of the sex. There is some kissing, a little making out, and the wedding night scene isn't shown. It's difficult to say why these two fell in love, but love is mysterious enough, I guess. It was interesting that Gracie's brother showed up and they all discovered that he had a prior relationship with Spencer's sister.
So, I know sex doesn’t equal love, but this story really didn’t show the MCs developing any sort of emotions for each other. Had there been sex scenes there would’ve at least been SOMETHING.
After too many bad dates Graciela decides to take a solo vacation. While drunk she books a non refundable ticket to Vegas at a swanky hotel. Her friends talk her into going on vacation in a wedding dress. So Gracie lands at the airport in a wedding dress, her luggage is lost and the ride is taking to long to get to the hotel in traffic so she decides to walk. As her luck would have it, it starts to rain. She shows up to the wrong hotel and is in the midst of arguing with a hotel employee when Spencer the CEO of the hotel comes to defuse the situation. He takes one look at her and is in love, she’s his “one”. Gracie finds him very attractive to and is happy to let him help her. They spend the next two weeks together getting to know one another. Gracie’s mixup helps uncover an embezzling scheme at the hotel chain that keeps Spencer busy trying to find the culprit. Before Gracie is set to return home Spencer proposes, but before she can respond they are surrounded by reporters wanting to know of the embezzlement scandal and who Gracie is. He sends her back to the hotel while it takes him a few days to deal with the embezzlers. When he tries to reach her he keeps getting voicemail, Gracie lost her phone, thinking she’s left him he’s frantic to see her. She’s dining with her brother when Spencer finally finds her. He proposes again and she accepts, the brother tries to object but Spencer’s sister calls him out, since he slept with her two weeks ago. Ends with them married and going home so he can meet the rest of her family. Looking forward to Eva and Leo. (Spencer’s sister and Gracie’s brother).

First things first; I love the cover of this book! Put a ring on it is the third book in the ‘’steamy in sweetville’’ series. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. When Graciela gets drunk she ends up booking her dream vacation to Vegas. What she doesn’t expect is for everything to go wrong on day one of her trip. Spencer wants Graciela from the moment he meets her. The chemistry between Spencer and Graciela is clear to see and I liked them together. I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story. The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read.
A drunk decision brings her Love Graciela, tired of the type of dates she's had, especially the one she just finished has a few too many drinks and books herself a vacation of a lifetime. She's not the impulsive type, always planning ahead, but her friends get her to go anyway. The trip starts out as somewhat a nightmare, but as fate intervenes, she meets Spencer. Spencer the CEO of the resort she booked at first sees her and his whole world shifts, this small woman is his and he will do everything and anything to claim her. He has 2 weeks to make that happen, and he wiil, Graciela is his and they will have a future together.
Words escape me right now.. This book OMG it put it all together.. You can really feel how the characters are made for each and that chemistry they have is off the charts... Spence and Gracie are really good together.. Gracie has always had a plan for her life, seeing how she severed child hood cancer she didn't what to waste a minute of her time and she wasn't going to let a minute slip away... Spence was raised by his dad and a nanny.. Spence was all business all the time until one night Gracie showed up at his hotel in a wedding dress... Wanna know more go check out the book for yourself, it's AWESOME
Great book with DV, alpha male, and Insta love. Pixie has written just the love story of Gracias trip to Vegas and his she fell in love with Spencer amid his long hours and investing problems with his family's hotel empire. Your imagination can flow with the wedding night and the day after. Look forward to February's extension from the sibling of this great couple.
Gracie and Spencer sitting in a tree!!! I loved this book the characters could not be more different. Gracie is a school teacher who's life is all planned out while Spencer is a CEO running half of Vegas. I absolutely loved the chemistry between them. The book is funny and sweet and filled with an OTT Alpha. Can't wait for Ring of Fire!
A super cute, pg rated quickie from Pixie Chica. All the fun and loving without the steamy sex. Fun quick story with a fairly foul mouthed 'heroine' - she's so much fun and so very real. Great new little read.
Yassssss... he was devoted to her listened to her.. his father loved her the sister loved her.. but that ending... I can’t wait until February that’s toooooo far away....😭😭😭😭
Swoon!! Gabriela is a woman with a plan, a plan she has had for years. When she thinks that it's just not going to happen...BOOM. Spencer is a lonely man until a woman having a bad day stumbles into his hotel. It's fate, it's romance, it's a happily ever after!
Put A Ring On It is a raspberry latte. It's sweet with steam. Not too much steam, froth on here is just right. I loved this book. It's the third book in the Steamy in Sweetville series and every book I read of Sweetville has me wishing I could move to it.
