You don’t find love; it finds you. It’s got a little to do with destiny, fate, and what’s written in the stars. Luna hadn’t believed her grandmother’s words until the moment Derrick ran into her right in the middle of 5th Avenue and looked into her eyes. She’d known right then that the stars had aligned in their favor. *The Shorties Series is not a continuation of the same story. Shorties are standalone novelettes that have no middle or end, only a beginning. They are meant to hold you over in between Asia Monique releases.

This was short and sweet in the best fuckin way possible!!! BUT I NEED MORE LIKE RIGHT NOW!
It’s a story that explores the beginning of a chance encounter between two strangers really well. It’s fated, it’s sweet and by the end of it has your mind going in all kinds of different directions.
How did I latch on to these two so quickly?
The purpose of these short novellas is to provide you with the beginning of a story only. They’re there to sustain us readers who are fans of Asia Monique’s work and lord, this just had me craving more, so much more!
Since I just finished reading Lily’s story, it was such a treat to read an excerpt of the (fictional) book she published. 😍
I cannot wait for the next instalment in the Shorties Series.

Luna & Derrick
Extremely short. A meet-cute, instant attraction kinda thing. I thought it was executed well. I would love more of these two. This was extremely short and pleasant. Read it in less than an hour while getting my hair done

Wow! What a story! Who knew a brief encounter on a busy street, would turn into something so meaningful. Derrick and Luna's, story was already written. They way they were able to speak to each other open and honestly, and see "deep" things about the other, in such a short amount of time was beautiful! I know this was a short, but I was so invested in them, that I didn't want it to end. So excited for the future shorties. Great job! 👍👍👍

Love at first bump
When you know you know. Derrick and Luna felt a pull towards each other after their first run in. Luckily it happened again and they both decided that whatever was pulling them towards each other must be fate. Can a person truly fall in love after one day? For these two, yes!! This was just the quick novella needed to remind us that sometimes a bump can lead to more.

Fated Love
I absolutely love the way that Derrick literally caught Luna in his arms and that they connected the moment that they gazed into each other's eyes. He shared a very special day with her beloved loved one and they embarked on a lifelong adventure starting at the moment their eyes connected.

this was my first time reading asia monique.. It had some high ratings and I wanted something short & sweet to end the month with. I was fooled. I did NOT like this one at all.

I usually don't give novelette's 5 stars. They always feel unfinished to me for some reason. This was the definition of instalove, but it was done so well it doesn't have the negative connotation. I would love to get more of Luna and Derrick's story, but I don't need it. It was just the beginning, but it felt complete.

Awesome Shorties
I enjoyed this short read. It was fun and flirty and gave me a warm and fuzzy feeling. I met my husband in 2 weeks we were married. Almost 37 years so I like stories I can relate to. Amazing writing.

Short, but So Good!
I love a good InstaLove story! Luna and Derrick are EVERYTHING!!!! Their connection from the very beginning was so potent. It's like the stars aligned and everything just clicked into place. This story was short and sweet and just enough!❤️

I am going to enjoy these shorts in between bigger projects. Luna and Derrick's love story started out with a bang. I am hoping that these two make a cameo appearance in an upcoming book.
I am looking forward to your next release. Ms. Asia is a great author you will enjoy her catalog, start from the top and keep going. She has a gift of making friends into a loving family.

Steamy
Luna tripped and literally ran into Derrick on her way to work. As fate would have it neither of them wanted to leave each others presence so they ended up spending the day together. This was so steamy and they didn’t even have sex. Their chemistry just seeped off the pages and it was hot. I sure wouldn’t mind a follow up story to this short. This was a quick read only 38 pages and captivating.

I’m not sure how I got distracted when I first attempt this book over a year ago but I picked I back up today and couldn’t put it down.
Luna and Derrick were meant for each other. Glad they were able to start their journey out the way they did.

This is the first real Insta live that I've read. It was cute. Heartwarming moments. The point of view in the dialogue was confusing at times but overall a nice quick read.

Wow, what a lovely story. I've always pictured me meeting someone like that a falling in love, this was short and sweet it made my heart melt. I hope that there is more to their story if not I would be ok with that. I really enjoyed this short story, great read!!
