Confused
I’m sorry I’m a little confused, this story didn’t have anything to do with the synopsis. I’m at 88% and I’m still waiting for the part of her father cutting her off, (in which the way the synopsis is written) forced her to do the street stuff and coming up by herself. On top of that the story kept going back and forth saying she was 18 and then 17 getting ready to turn 18. Then it would say she was almost 18 like which one is it? On top of everything you telling me this girl come from a huge crime family held her virginity for all those years just to lose her virginity and start sexing ppl to get put on? Please make that make sense.
From the synopsis I thought I was gonna read about a young girl that was going to go from riches to rags and then boss up and make her own way back to riches. This story was a bunch of sex and name brand dropping. I’m at 88% of this book and nothing absolutely nothing has happened.SMH I’m so disappointed and pissed that I’ve wasted this much time reading this waiting for it to get somewhere only for nothing, so I guess I can assume that it’s gonna get to something and then end and go into a part 2. Which I love series because authors these days don’t know how to write a standalone correctly, but I need the first book to set me up for the rest and this one is definitely not doing that.

Ain’t no way you just had her tell her story to a therapist from when she turned 18-19. And then she just ended her story when she passed out! Girl I can’t wait for part two! I know kea is not jada and she is really pregnant by Nathan? Hunnie even more is about to happen now that they are al at the hospital together! Even though Chyna and choke don’t get along what is she going to do when she finds this out! I’m glad she has finally told Maddox that she loved him but I wish she just give him the relationship already! He seems to be good for her plus her family likes him! I don’t know if it was Tess or Josh but whoever it was they about to die! Between chyna family and Maddox they already done seen they death just waiting for it to happen! Josh seems like a lost puppy always wanna come around asking why come he hasn’t heard from his friend! He was t saying all that when her and Iesha got into it! I really feel Josh to be a problem and it’s only because he broke her virginity! Boy he better move around because Maddox seems to out it down like only he can! Shoot it got them say they love each other! Ready for part two

This author puts the Y in pettY. Chyna wanted to make her own money but i don't like the lifestyle she chose. I knew that loud ole gree hair was gon be a problem. I bet her name is written all over the chaos. Nathan is in a word of trouble. Thinking with the wrong headgon get his head cut off. Maddox seems to be the,one but is he too good to be true. Josh need to move around ad take that ditzy braud Iesha with him. I can't wait to see if my questions are answered in pt.2

5 Star Read
What a great way to kick off September. I could not put this book down. I'm like the therapist now, I need more. I believe Kea is Jade and all hell bout to break lose when everyone find out Nate been creeping. Chloe should have been paying more attention to her husband than worrying about what Chyna was doing. I bet Tess or Leasha had something to do with the shooting and Tess with the set up. I hope Rome pulls through, I don't think my nerves can take it if he don't.💛💛

Omg This was so good
This story was so good and i live the way the it was set up like a therapy session. I will say though that i wish the author would’ve kept it going like a real therapy session with the therapist asking questions and being more engaged. I also wish that it wasn’t so obvious that Maddox and Chyna would be together. I also wish you had more of an inside look at what their relationship and her and Josh relationship looks like. But overall i really love the boom.

Most definitely recommending, this story was lit!! The more you tell a woman she cant do something, the harder she goes to prove you wrong! Chyna is my chik... definitely not like other women to sit around and mope about wat a man is doing..she runnin up a check. I love how she stays true to herself. Im bout like the therapist..wait we CANNOT stop here!! I need to kno if Maddox gon hold up his end of the bargain 😭

Chloe need to pay attention to her own husband Nathan and what he's been doing behind her back instead of always in her little sister Chyna business. Chloe starting to seem jealous. I knew sooner or later Chloe would start to rebel. Her mother and father being strict and reneging on her made Chloe step out on her own. She's stuck between Maddox and Josh and nothing good can come from that. I think Tess was behind setting up Chloe and Maddox

Bomb Book
I loved this book. The fact that she was determined to show her family that she can be independent was powerful. I got so caught up in the story that I forgot she was even speaking to someone, which reminded me that something is up. I would recommend this book to my book club because it’s so good.

Left wanting more
This was an enjoyable read. I was rooting for Josh & Chyna at first but Josh want to keep doubling back to his ex. I felt he genuinely like Chyna but he still had a connection with his ex. Chyna needed someone who is all about her. I think Maddox is that person. The ending left you wanting more. Can't wait until part 2.

I I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It's definitely hood but not ratchet. The characters were relatable. The plot so far isn't predictable and the ending leaves you wanting more. Good job!

My kind of book
This book held my attention from beginning to end. The way Chyna was telling her story it felt like it was present time instead of her telling about her past. I can’t wait for part two cuz I have a feeling who the baby daddy is, but I have to know if Rome survived.

It's like it's predictable now Jade is not her real name, Chyna friend is pregnant by Nate. Tess and Tre are the ones setting them up with Josh help, scorn lovers will do that. Chole is not that innocent I think she has a side piece some where.

Love this story
I can read a story like this and feel Like I’m watching a movie. The family is so close which I love besides the jealous sister who needs to get a life. I love how Chyna has such a good head on her shoulders and how her brother molded her even while spoiling her.
