It feels like I've lived several lifetimes in the span of a couple months. So much has changed, but it seems some things still remain the same. Specifically, my penchant for crap luck.
Dear Ole Dad is back. In living, breathing shit-brown color. Our bonding ceremony has already been delayed once, but I'll be damned if I let anything else stand in our way. Including my father. Dax and I will see this through, officially belong to one another after all's said and done, and no one will ever be able to take that away. Then everything else will fall into place...right? If only life were that simple. I have faith that we'll make it through whatever hurdle is thrown at us, just like we have all the others.
Dax and I are growing closer everyday. He's helped me come out of the awkward, hermit shell I'd crawled into years ago and the girl I am, the one who's evolving continuously, I'm learning to love her. To love us and the life we're building, but that's easy to do where Dax is concerned. All of our pieces are coming together beautifully and I can't wait to see what's in store for us. Hopefully some well-deserved down time after all we've been through.
Because finding us in the midst of all the craziness? It's made life so much sweeter.
Finding Us is the conclusion to the Pack Bardot series. Trigger warnings for this book include: strong language, sexual situations and hints of past abuse. Recommended for readers age 18+
M.K. Harper is a military spouse, just trying to escape life's chaos by getting lost in her own imagination. A mother of two and a full-time worker, writing has become a stress relieving outlet. Currently settled in Georgia after three years of living in Italy, M.K. is always looking forward to the next adventure.
Disappointing read the first two books thoroughly enjoyed them however this last book was so terrible and the outcomes are so off putting I wish I never picked the book up. The first two books the woman were strong loved their characters however its as if someone else wrote this last book can we DOORMAT!!!! All that work and you go and make an abuser the good guy and the females weak. Definitely do not recommend won’t ever read anything tjis author publishes

The series starts with Linny and her mom escaping her abusive father. She instantly feels something more for her teacher, Dax in a city ruled by two rival families. She adopts Chevy as her best friend, and stands up against the bullies picking on him. She discovers her dad was actually a wolf that loved her mom but went feral because he choose to be with Grace (the mom) even she not being his true mate, thats why he god violent. She also discover she is half werewolf, and true mate of Dax, the teacher (she was one week from 18 when they met and he was 21, so nothing creepy). The two rival families were actually rival packs. Thats about the sum of book 1. Book 2 its when she gets kidnaped right before her mating ceremony, by the rival pack, mets on the "prison" Minnie, Cautler (LT) mom (he is the cuties kid, they thought she had abandoned him but she was actually protecting him from his father, from the rival pack, where she was abused in many ways. He called Linny his soulmate and was always bringing the mahem to his uncle D; he was also always hungry, very intelligent and smartass) and finally breaks free. Than she finally has the mating ceremony (they wait!) same day her feral fathers appears on the pack lands. I'm not sure when the third book begings but is her adapting to her new life, the other woman being rescued, LT being adopted by Linny and Dax, her father going from a almost dead wolf to meeting his true mate (one of the rescues) and going back to life and sanity.
She and her mom really liking decorating, she has no filter and has a strange sense of humor, she is alywas trying to protect. She also shifts into her wolf on the last book (they though she couldn't).
Easy read, fast read, first book were clean than they bond. I enjoyed it !

This series... was definitely likeable. Finding Us is the final book in the Finding series that follows the perspectives of Linden and Daxton as they prepare for their mating ceremony, and their future together. I was a little sad that this series has ended, but I'm glad that I picked it up. If you were a twilight fan I'd recommend this series it's a quick read, but does contains sex scenes. If you are younger than 17, I wouldn't recommend you reading this series. Additional Thoughts (contains spoilers): ~The epilogue... Broke me. Reading about how Linden and Daxton adopted Caulder made me almost cry. I expected it to happen, but seeing him as an 11 year old just made things so much better. ~I NEED a book following Chevy, he is such a good friend. His sense of humor is f***ing hilarious, and he just added a wow factor to the series. Overall Rating: 3.75/5 Stars
This story was entertaining and interesting. I am a bit disappointed by the lack of shifter traits in this story. There wasn't any super strength, rapid healing, or dominance fights. So really it was a story about people that just happen to turn into wolves, which made it a bit anticlimactic.
I'm also still pretty confused by the whole Feral/non-mate situation. I don't understand how Pack Ames could kidnapp and force breeding with people that were not their mates and they were fine. But Lindy's dad married her mom (who was not his mate) and he went psycho feral. Even Beaux went feral after Minnie.. but no one else. Regardless I enjoyed it and recommend it.
I fell in love with the characters in the first book , couldn't help myself . Now I'm just sad it's ending . The story made me laugh so hard . Caulder is a very good character . Can we please have his story next ?!! Very good MFL , Linny is as good to read about as Caulder and they go together like chocolate and peanut butter ! More , if the author doesn't mind .
I honestly loved this series. Yes, there were parts that made me cry both from happy to sad. With that said, I loved the characters. The strength to stand back up after live fears you down and still have the ability to love unconditionally and forgive. I love the writing style and can't wait to see what other books M. K. Harper writes. Give the series a try, you won't be disappointed.
Loved this series! I don't think I've laughed so much during a series. This is a well written and very entertaining series. A beautiful blend of strong characters overcoming a difficult past. This author does a beautiful job of weaving a great story and creating characters that draw you in and entertain you. Loved it! I can't wait to read more of her works.
I love this series! Well written, lots of twists to keep you on your toes, no loose ends left unaddressed. Well, except for the night of their bonding ceremony…how did they get their clothes off, if they were tied together!? This will perplex me forever. But seriously, I smiled and cried and laughed throughout the whole series!!The duck scene was by far my favorite. :)
This is a must read series. I have howled with laughter throughout the majority of this book, and also cried at times too. The relationships between the characters are truly heart warming and absolutely hilarious. Just a shame that the books have ended,I could have easily carried on reading. The author needs to get more books out I have loved all of them so far and looking forward to more xxxx
Annnnd, we're done! The same sorts.of errors.were.in this book too so, three.stars. I'm doing my review via a tablet, so pardon my typos or weird periods. I still liked the story. I love when the fated.mates don't fight it. Acceptance is a turn on. Guys, remember that! I love.how in this story, he was her teacher, and actively pursued her without being a barbarian. He was caveman ish but not in a violent way. Anyway, off to try and find another book to read. Wish me luck!
It's over, I read the series in a day, but it's was perfect!! LT will forever be my favorite little tyrant. This whole series made me laugh, there were lots of not funny parts, but the comedy made the series for me! Holy crap at the inner monologue from Lindy!! The ducks just won me over, what can I say?!
I read all three books in a matter of days. They were good and well thought out for the most part. A couple spots had some grammatical errors and a couple spots it felt like a teenage was in fact writing it, but Linny is supposed to be a teenager so there is that. Otherwise I really did enjoy the series. Good job.
Much better editing in this book. Only one major slip peace when it should have been piece. The series was much better than many other shifter series. Usually girls meets alpha gets dominated, mated. prego and the story is over except for repeated too heavy sex scenes. This series actually had a plot and knew when to end. Bravo.
This series was great and you can't help fall in love with Dax and his family. Their is just the right amount of issues that they face while becoming one. If you are looking for wolf shifter series that has action, romance( little bit, not steamy) and ends with a feel good then this is the series for you.
I love books that are in a series, so decided to read book #1, Finding You. Loved it immediately, had scenes that made me laugh so often, plus scenes that could make me cry. Hated to see the series end. M.K. Harper is a very talented writer. Hope to read many more .
This author told a story like wow! I think I laughed out loud more while reading this series than I have with almost any other author's work. The heroine literally reminded of my daughter.. you never know what's gonna come out her mouth much less her best friend's mouth. If u like paranormal romance, u NEED to read this series!!!
One does not recover from trauma overnight. Linden's story is no different. There are some differences she has unique to her. She gets to change. The ending is perfect, because it was imperfect. Not all the hurt went away. Not all relationships where Mr. Roger's neighbors sappy sweet. Life normalized and went on. New relationships where made and some old ones fell away.
I love the rangenof emotions you feel when reading her books. The humor is my favorite part. Everyone needs a friendship like Linny & Chevy! I die of laughter when they get into it.
I wish I could see this trilogy transform into a movie, omg how I want to see a wear wolf movie that touches on TBE pack, mating, bonding, challenges , all of it!! This was great love story and thank you.
Aww this series made me laugh and cry both at the same time, linny omg the filter on her is never ending she made me laugh at some of her comments and dax aww I so fell in love with him and his big beautiful heart.
Finding Us was a great way to end this series. I really adored the hero and heroine together, and I enjoyed their happily ever after. Although, in this one a bunch of really strange things happen, especially coming from the heroine's past, but other than that it was great!
I really enjoyed reading all three of the books in Linny and Dax's story. It was just what I needed after all of the darker romances I've been reading lately. It was a very sweet shifter love story
I’m glad that it’s over but definitely enjoyed the ride. The writing was clearly rushed and the character development was lacking. But I have read her other book and you can tell this was just rushed.
Loved this trilogy. Can't wait to read more from m.k.harper. First set. A story of love/hate. Family devastated but rebuilt. It has me laughing and crying.
I almost decided not to read this series thinking it was a teacher/student story. This is a story of finding your mate, and learning to trust yourself.
Great ending to this series. Closure for Linny and Dax. Great story line. I'd like to see a bit more about Caulder as he grows up and possibly Linny's dad but this series has been a great read.
