You’d think the most gorgeous and talented woman in the music business would capture my attention. You’d think I’d be thrilled and honored to have her join my band on our worldwide tour, blending her fans with ours to create one explosive tribe. You’d think my response would be an automatic yes like the rest of my bandmates. You know what I think? Hell. No. Although Raina Skye is beautiful, talented, and the latest Princess of Pop, she’s the last person in the world I’d want to share a stage with. Why? She's a liar. Now, our band manager isn’t giving me a choice, demanding that I play nice. She wants to mend our professional relationship, but I’m not the forgiving kind. But the moment she opens her mouth and sings into the microphone, all of my senses shift into overdrive, and I’ve never been more thankful to have a guitar covering the front of my pants. Why do I want someone who gets under my skin so badly? Someone who drives me crazy and causes an insane amount of stress, so much that I debate on dabbling into my old bad habits? The same habits that became out of control, causing me to destroy my family. The only good coming out of it being the evolution of Addicts Unite.
By the way my body was responding to her presence, I was in trouble. She was going to become my new bad habit. I think this could end terribly. Or possibly, epic.

Ok, So we got to know Jet a little in Gunnar's story and I already had a place in my heart for him. Regan and Jet have explosive chemistry from the first time they met and they both fought it until they couldn't any longer, when they end up on the same stage together they are done denying the sparks. In Stroke It we get to see beneath the rock star exterior Jet shows everyone and the hurt and guilt that he carries broke my heart I found myself weeping, wanting to put him in my pocket to keep him safe. Regan is battling her won demons and she fears Jet will get dragged down with her, but together they find out what unconditional love means and fight each others battles together. I absolutely LOVED this story and the battle Jet has with his addiction is real and should give others hope when there seems to be none!
This is the third book in the Addicts Unite Series and it's a page turner. Talk about an emotional roller coaster. The series just gets more intense and this book is Jet's story. He's suffered with addictions and it's affected his career and personal life. Raina comes back into the picture in this book. They're like oil and water but their chemistry is explosive. The book is emotional, fast-paced and overflowing with drama. If you like rock star and starlet romances you'll enjoy this book. I read a free book via the author and voluntarily chose to write a review.
This is Jet’s story and to be honest, I didn’t really like him in the other books. But Ms Page has a way with words and it didn’t take long for my heart to go out to him. All his outlandish behaviour and addiction begins to make sense once you hear his backstory. Raina ... what can I say ... I loved her at the beginning and felt sorry for her. But about half the way through, I had to rethink my opinion of her because of her actions and that’s all I’m going to say on that. That’s the sign of a great book when you can change your opinion from one chapter to the next.
The chemistry between Jet and Raina is undeniable, therefore the steamy scenes were very HOT! The banter between the characters is very realistic ... especially between the band members. The way they all teased Rocket about his mom had me laughing out loud. I sure hope I don’t have to wait too long for the next book!
I received a early copy courtesy of the author in exchange for a honest review.
I wasn't sure what to expect from Jet's story based on his behavior in the previous books in this series, but there's definitely more to him than meets the eye. He's a recovering addict rock star with an incredibly large... chip on his shoulder, among other things, from tragic events in his life. When he is forced to work with Raina (Regan) it seems like he's losing control over his life. They've got some serious chemistry, but she's got her own baggage. Will they bring out the best in other or lead each other to ruin? Really enjoying this story... looking forward to reading more about the members of Addicts Unite.
So I didn’t start with book one but I don’t care, this one sounded more interesting. Jet is the lead singer of this band and he’s tiny, gorgeous and wears eyeliner. He’s moody and angry most of the time. He has guilt and demons that caused addiction and recovery. I found it hard to like him and hated the way he treated Regan. But the more I got into this story he just started to get to me. Regan was in a tough spot because she was in a relationship with Kyle the hockey player and she hated him. The more time she was with Jet the more she loved him. I don’t want to say anymore about the story and spoil it. I did like the story and recommend it. I’m going to read book one now.
Stroke It was great! I devoured it. I loved Jet and Raina and enjoyed watching their story unfold. It played out beautifully. There was just the right amount of drama. The rock star and the rising pop star. Jet and Raina danced around each other and there was so much sexual tension, but when they finally gave in, it was sizzling hot. I liked how it went from past to present so we learned more. I love the band Addicts Unite. These guys are family and truly care for each other. I'm looking forward to Chase's story next in Ride it.
5 This booked pulled me in and I could not put it down. Jets and Raina set the pages a light with during the steamy scenes! And the I couldn’t get enough of the banter between the two, and with the other members of the band. Definitely recommend to those considering this book!
