🤯
The way I ran through these pages should be investigated 😂- the title Crazy Stupid Hood Love was 100% accurate! These characters were crazy but the story was entertaining. I think the ending happened so fast that I needed to go back and make sure I didn’t miss anything. This is for lovers of toxic and drama filled stories. There was a heavy dose of comedic relief, close proximity, and audacity beyond belief. Whew! What a crazy ride! I was hooked from page one- Soldier Boy stole my heart. There is some heavy content surrounding DV and child endangerment that can be triggering.

This book was fire!!!
This book started out with a bang and got progressively better, if that was possible. I love how the author showed us the lows so we could appreciate the glow up. I was rooting for Dorian throughout the whole book!!! It just goes to show how the right man can upgrade your whole life and motivate you to do better and be better!! This was my first read by this author and this book had me enthralled. I’m about to binge her whole catalogue.

This was the bomb and like Nana would say: “You better play with your life, but don’t play with my G, ya heard me!”
First time reading this author and not only was this the bomb, but I know I want to read more of her. The characters in this book were not only incredible but a joy to read about...
Dorian, wow, oh wow, oh wow! When they say that a woman is strong, they ain’t lying; when they say when a woman is fed up, this will be it, they again ain’t lying and finally when they say a woman scarred is a force to be reckoned, they for sure weren’t lying; and let me tell you MS. Dorian was all that and then some. But underneath it all, everyone saw the full potential of this woman except herself until my book bae showed up and leveled her up. Beautiful and gushy!
Thereaux, what a man! Shoot, I want one just like that and specially the endowed part because this was definitely the full package and am glad that finally it was a deserving woman who gets to enjoy it.
Theron, oh my god, where do they make these at or better yet, didn’t think they make these out still? Because this gots to be the lowest male species ever. The only thing I will say is that, karma is a bad woman and will be coming for you as well as Darchelle ten times. And she did!
Nana Theresa, is by far my fav. She is the best part of this book besides when Dorian would clap back at Theron and Darchelle. Moriah and Theron were so good and so level headed and so down to earth that they made the perfect example for how parents needed to be with their children.
This book had so many levels and layers and the best part was the ending where mama bear came out with papa bear close behind, and we all know that once you poke the bear, nothing can bring it down.
A very well written, well researched and well edited story and very, very, very enjoyable! I am going to be binge reading this author for sure.....

I loved it
I honestly loved the whole story and the lessons with the story...my favorite character was nana I love a good story that has a nana or aunt that don't play about they family and that's wit all the shits. She kept me laughing some of my favorite lines...This Wilde-monkey-gator-whore was in front of my son’s house with AAA to pick up Dorian’s car. She was in the daylight, looking bad-built and uncomfortable with her ever melting face. Her husband stood beside her, looking like the bitch that he was. “You little chia pet. I say what I wants, when I wants ’cuz ain’t a soul on this side of the equator gon’ bust a move, a grape, or check me about shit. Your ugly, remedial, twelve years a side bitch, having ass out here putting on a show because ya think that pussy can save you. Let me learn you something. Theresa Wilamenna Jenkins neè Alston doesn’t need a crowd nor a wow to get shit moving and shaking.
And another one I died laughing at....“Little stupid ass boy control your pets. You know I like to hunt. Crazy is right
From the beginning the drama was on. Dorian and Theron grew up together. He was her safe space for a long time. That space wasn't safe at all. They were toxic. Theron's family was the only family Dorian knew and they treated her like their own. I loved their dynamic. It goes to show that you can be raised in the same environment and have totally different experiences because Theron and his big brother Thereaux were like night and day. Nana was a true OG for real. I couldn't believe some of the stunts Darchelle pulled, talk about delusional. All in all this was a good, drama filled book that had some off the wall crazy, dramatic characters that learned some valuable lessons in the end.

Outdone
Me and this book here had a real love hate relationship going on! I loved the book Outstanding job by the way! Nana and Doe had me in tears the entire book! But I’ve never in the history of what in the Harry Potter is going on here! Have I ever hated t2 people as much as I’ve hated Theron and the Wildabeast! Like I truly felt they didn’t suffer enough! Like the disrespect out of this world. And to still say she couldn’t be with anyone else tf! Then to do what he did to his own children? Your own kids awwww naw! I need a smoke a drink something! And I don’t even do either of those things 🤦🏽♀️😩🤦🏽♀️

WoW!!!!
This book started off kind of strange for me but as the story unraveled you had moments in their that made plenty sense.
Theron was on my nerves because how can you create a monster and then reprimand that same monster for bearing it's teeth.
Darchelle who was married to Theron got on my list nerves but got exactly what she was campaigning for.
Nana Theresa, was a gangsta thru and thru. I loved her personality and how she always protected Dorian.
Theraux I'm assuming that's how you spell it. He was everything a girl wants and needs in a man.
This book was all over the place but in the end Dorian played the hand she was dealt and came out on top.

I wanted to hurt Theron and his side thot. How could he disrespect someone he knew his childhood, the mother of his two beautiful girls. I could not believe Theron had a plan to hurt his daughters it's crazy. Nana and Dorian are crazy, and I love it. Nana did not play about the people she loved. Thereaux Thereaux my hero!!!
Nadine Frye good job. Can you have someone edit one Page? The page is 203, second paragraph the brother's names were mixed up. I was a little confused reading page 203 until I put together who she was talking about. Besides that wonderful job!! ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

Good Read
I can't believe this was my first read by this author, but not my last. This book was good from beginning to end. I so loved Doe and Nana they were hilarious throughout this whole book. Nana, didn't play about those she loved;especially, Doe. I had so much hatred for Theron and that animal wife of his, they didn't suffer enough to me. I couldn't believes Theron was involved at first, but he was the ringleader and they deserved what they got and more. Highly recommend this standalone. Good job Nadine Frye.

This book was straight fire. I can't believe she put up with all that from that little boy. He would've had me 2 shades messed up. I'm glad his brother came home and showed her what a real man was. Then how you let your side hoe treat your kids any kind of way then you marry her and plot with her to poison your kids i don't think he was got what he deserved . i think he should've felt.more pain. It take a real women to.raise a women kids who tried to take your kids from you

Whew this read made me laugh like a madwoman but it also made me cry. Dorian’s story tugged at my heart strings because I know what it feels like to be broken by someone that you love and trust. Thereaux was the ultimate book bae. Not too rude, but nowhere near soft. He had a commanding presence and BDE!!!!!! Lastly my girl Nana......she was absolutely everything. She was funny as I don’t know what but don’t play with her G ya heard. Great read and looking forward to reading more from this author.

Great read!
This was my 1st book by this author and I am glad that I gave her a chance. I can’t believe Theron and the boogawoof! They are so foul. I’m glad they got what they deserved. I was even happier for my girl Dorian she got her happily ever after. Overall great read. I am looking forward to reading more of Nadines work!

Greatness
This book will keep you laughing. I laughed so hard, tears came from my eyes. It is also a beautifully written love story with excellent character development, that damn Darchelle will make you wish she was a real person so you could whoop her a**. First time reading this author and I may say that it was really good. I like how this author is writing , its different classy but with the correct amount of hood . I loved Thereaux he was so perfect on his own way , a man a real one , so mature . Oh nana was so funny I swear she was the heart of this family. I need to read more from this author

Amazing read
This book had me wanting to jump through the pages and kick ass. I could not believe a man could do the things he did to his own children just to get back at their mother. I soooo love Nana, she definitely is a G. Theron and Darchelle really had some mental issues going on, how can you do something so horrible to a child just so you can have a open relationship with the mother of your child and your wife. Doe and Thereaux definitely deserve each other they make a great couple.

This book was a hot mess. Nana was a true OG but that damn Theron was a whole hoe. I would say that Theron did Dorian wrong but she allowed that mess. It was a interesting book
