I started reading this series at Jeremiah’s story. Now I have finished the first three brothers stories. First story is Rhett and Evelyn, Rhett marries Evelyn to help her keep her business with one condition, no matchmaking involving his brothers. As her business is matchmaking this may be difficult.
Tripp and Ivory’s story involves him marring her so she can keep her son. Ivory needs to learn to trust herself and Tripp. I enjoyed this story the best.
Liam and Callie’s story was about her almost losing her ranch. Liam marries her to help her keep the ranch. I didn’t like this one as much because Liam was very insecure and never consulted Callie about any of the Reno’s he was doing even though he kept saying this was her ranch.
All in all they are a good start to the series, I have enjoyed the rest of the brothers stories as well and would recommend this series.

Nice clean reading

All three stories kept your attention. The plots were similar yet different. The hero's are what every woman dreams of, strong and loving. The heroines are a little to needy and cry a lot. Many times through all three stories I wanted to shake some sense into them.

Billionaire stories need more research. Why would they need to book first class on a public plane? Even a low key billionaire can own a luxury plane whereas they fly in style and not cramped.

I'm looking forward to Jeremiah's story yet not so much to Whitney. From the sneak review she has a weakness for another man who she knows is wrong for her. If she uses Jeremiah even unintentionally I'm not sure I'll be able to finish the story.

Almost finished. I've enjoyed the sweet stories and the Christian values and praying in the books. Nice to have Christian books.

I really enjoyed the re-read on the collection of first three books of SEVEN SONS RANCH. All three books held slightly similar storylines, however there were just enough crazy differences that kept me reading. The couples are from families that share the same faith as well as immense love for their families. Within these stories, I laughed, cried and felt their pain or shame. All three of these stories are heartwarming and deep enough to make you think. Their stories enabled me to look at my own love-story and realize love is a special gift that should never be taken for granted. I give this collection of Walker stories a solid 5 (more if I could do it!!

Rhett:
Evvy's matchmaking reminds me of Hitch - my husband and I love that movie! I'll admit that I started this series with Liam's book and read through the end before coming back to the beginning for Rhett's HEA. 100% you should start at the beginning of the series. I loved getting to know the earlier versions of characters I’ve come to love. The brothers’ start in Three Rivers, our introduction to the town and the sisters. A wonderful, clean romance that sets up a great series.

Tripp:
I loved this installment in the series. I actually read it last as I started the series with the 3rd book - I most certainly do NOT recommend that. So, I knew all of these characters and their outcomes and futures before ever starting the book, however, that really didn't make it any less impactful. It was full of amazing characters and life lessons. Second and third and fifth and seventh chances - love gives every chance, every day, and it keeps on giving.

Liam:
The first book of the series I’ve read and the first book by this author. I loved it and can’t wait to read more! An amazing Christian, clean, well put together and thought out romance with a beautiful setting, deep characters, and a lovely spirit.
If the other books are written like this one, I’d definitely suggest reading them in order.

If you are looking for an escape into a beautiful countryside and a prince in rugged blue jeans, the Walkers are the perfect fix. Each brother is hard-working and swoon-worthy!
This is such a fun sweet series. Each brother’s story gets a happily ever after, but they continue offering insight into the other brothers’ burgeoning and onward developing stories!

Hmmm. 7 brothers, 3 of whom marry perfect strangers in "fake" weddings so the billionaire husband can pick up the bills. No pre-nuptials. Go figure. Putting all of that aside, the characters are likable, and there is a spiritual element to the books. I've gone on to read the 4th book, but he, too, is marrying a stranger in a "fake" wedding. Seven brothers, all billionaires - I was hoping for a change in theme.

The Seven Sons Ranch Box Set includes Rhett’s Trivial Marriage, Tripp’s Trivial Tie and Liam’s Invented I-Do. Each is an entertaining story about a marriage of convenience between one of the rich brothers and a woman he adores who likes the him but needs the marriage for other reasons besides love. Each of the women has a hard time with relationships. It’s a bit of a stretch to think all three brothers could do the same thing, and I would think they’d learn from the others’ experiences, but oh well. I guess, money can buy anything, even love. Each book tells a complete story, but they also introduce relationships for future books. I do hope the brothers in the books after the first three have relationships that aren’t bought and paid for. These women in these stories strike me as a bit shallow and undeserving of their husband’s hearts.

Rhett’s Trivial Marriage is about Evelyn, a match maker, and Rhett. They get married because Evelyn can’t get business as a single woman. They’re friends (both with crushes on the other), so it kind of makes sense. The relationship goes through it’s ups and downs. It sometimes feels like these characters purposefully make trouble for themselves. At least this one isn’t about the money, even if Rhett is ridiculously rich.

Tripp’s Trivial Tie is about Tripp and Ivory, a single mom who’s ex is trying to get custody of her kid because she’s broke. It would sure be easier if she’d just let him help her financially, but it should be a good match anyway, except Ivory is a cold hearted woman who has a hard time with emotions and can’t recognize or admit she’s falling in love with her husband.

Liam’s Invented I-Do is about Liam and Carli, Evelyn’s sister who runs the next door ranch (into the ground). Carli is sweet but ridiculously financially irresponsible. She hasn’t paid her mortgage for a year and instead of asking for help from anyone including her billionaire neighbors (and brother in law), she hides the fact. To top it off, she doesn’t have a clue how to run a ranch and has run it into the ground. It’s a good thing Liam rescues her, though perhaps she’d be better off without the ranch she doesn’t know how to run. I realize she’s too proud to take money from anyone (except her husband/ fiancé), but a much easier solution would have been for Liam to buy her loan, then she could have taken her time dating and getting to know him instead of rushing into things.

The narrator of the audiobooks does a nice job.

Rhett
This story was fun to read. It was funny when I was learning about Evelyn and her profession, all I could think about that she was the embodiment of the old saying about the shoemaker’s children who go without shoes. She was great at figuring out exactly who would be a good match between the women of the town and the cowboys. But she could not do that for herself.

Rhett is that man that every woman dreams about having; caring, sensitive and patient. He knows what he wants but is not sure that the person what he wants feels the same about him. I really enjoyed this introduction to the Walker family. The brothers are all so different but they all seem to be on good terms with each other. I found Jeremiah to be very interesting would love to read more about him.

Tripp
Reading this story, I realized that Ivory was the typical victim of a mentally abusive husband. Daniel controlled her and then divorced her leaving her with a 4 year old son, Oliver. Not only that, he used Oliver to keep trying to control and hurt her. He tried to take Oliver away from her.

Tripp Walker, another of the billionaire sons, had a thing for Ivory. He tried very hard to not get involved but when she asked him to marry her in a pretend marriage to save her son, what could he do? He had to say “yes” of course. But Tripp actually did not feel that this was a pretend and wanted it to be so much more.

Liam
Callie Foster is trying to run the Shining Star Ranch and refuses to let it go but she has no idea how to run a ranch. She has fallen so behind in the mortgage payments that she might even lose it. But Liam Walker lives right next door and he has a lot of money. Liam really does like Callie and wants to help her. He has tried everything to do just that including asking her to marry him. The ups and downs in their relationship keeps you reading until the very end.

I never thought about how much men, especially in this case, cowboys have so much inner turmoil. The Walker brothers certainly have a hard time coming to terms with a lot of their emotions, especially when it comes to women. That is the part of what made this story so interesting, watching them deal with how they feel about themselves and those they love.

Dnf after book 1.

The writing was sloppy, difficult to read, and had massive consistency problems.

One of my pet peeves is hard to read dialogue, when it’s not abundantly clear who is saying what because of the writing and let’s just say this book grinder my gears. It was also hard to read the “text” conversations too, which is equally annoying.

As far as consistency, there was a lot of conflicting descriptions. Characters would say one thing and then do another.

Then there were the actual continuity errors. One paragraph said “the ring would be ready after Christmas.” Then the next paragraph literally said “today’s Christmas and I’m going to propose with the ring I bought.” HOW?!? how did that slip by before going to publishing? It was almost like this was a first draft that no one proof read.

The men were swoony and I actually liked the characters and plot, but the physical writing was too much to overcome in order to read the rest.

Fake Brides Galore

This collection of three books featuring three marriages happening with men who are strong, rich and honest and women stubborn enough to not know what's best for them. Well written and plotted these first three books are entertaining, loving and sometimes frustrating. The seven Walker brothers have renovated and rebuilt the Seven Sons Ranch just outside Three Rivers, Texas. And they are next door to Shining Star Ranch and the three sisters that live there. Each book follows a sister bonding with one of the brothers. Each story is an interesting journey of two people learning to trust and love each other. I'm excited to read the remainder of this series.

Texas gentlemen.

Penny Walker raised all seven of her sons right!!! Handsome, hard-working, God fearing, and totally there for each other men who all have the same problem -women! They haven't had the best of luck with women in the past. The oldest, Rhett buys a large ranch to give the all a place to come home to and start fresh. Follow each of them as they find a woman who needs help in some way and they are just the guys to solve their problems. See how an offer of a "fake" marriage by each of the Walker men will help everyone find love and their HEA!! Best series I have read on a long time.

I have only read the first two books in this bundle and find them completely unrealistic. Marry a stranger to help save their matchmaking business? The second storyline was a little more believable. Marry to keep custody of a child. Another issue I have is that all characters appear to be Christian. No Christian is going to "fake" marry anyone. And guys that spill their feelings every time they turn around, not believable.
I won't be reading the third book of the bundle, because I can already tell it will follow the same tired old story line.
Needs some imagination.

I enjoyed these three stories. They were entertaining and funny at times. This family of sisters were watching over the ranch next door, and understanding that one of the brothers was coming to start taking care of the ranch. They were on the property, and a tornado was coming. They ran and got into the cellar of the house and guess what? The brother had arrived and was in the cellar. You will enjoy this story.

I Loved This start

If this series. Liz hooks you with the first book with getting to know the characters of this series, but she brings together in characters from her other series that are from the same community. Three brothers find love after moving to the ranch. They all have been hurt and are taking time to find happiness.

An excellent read

I loved this set of stories. Each different and unique, yet the characters weave throughout the series. Sweet love stories that keep the pages turning quickly, with characters you come to love and cheer on as you read (I did anyway). ;-) Take these anywhere and curl up in a corner or stretch out on the beach, you're in for a treat.

Seven Sons Ranch: 3 . . . boxed set

I just finished the third book in this boxed set about the Walker brothers, including books about Rhett, Tripp and Liam. All three were wonderful Christian books filled with both the excitement of falling in love with the problems and occasional heartbreak associated with forming new relationships. I look forward to finishing this series.

So enjoyed all three books. Loved all the characters (H/h) and the families. Each story is different but connected. Characters are not perfect but love their families. The H’s are really giving men who work and give even if they didn’t need to do it. Recommend these books to all.

While I enjoyed the simple love story with life on a ranch, I found a lot of repetition. Not only in story line, but in descriptions of things happening. I find that annoying.
