This book gets 4-stars on the strength of the Kurt Busiek and Chris Bachalo short story of Spider-Man in a museum, and with a ton of Beatles references. That's about it. Without this short story, this ten dollar comic book totally fails for me based on the main story.

The main story was superbly drawn and illustrated with Ryan Ottley, Humberto Ramos, and Mark Bagley handling a chapter each of it. The problem lied with how the writer used Norman Osborn in this story. The interaction of the villain with Spider-Gwen really made my skin crawl. It dug up some unholy memories of a story (Sins Past) best forgotten.

So, yeah, man When I saw that title page that said, "Part One," I was crushed.

Because, look, it really only made sense for this book to function as a capper. But it didn't cap anything. It just continued to show that Norman Osborn is the Green Goblin.

I would like to start wrapping something up. That's my request.

The stories at the end were also fine.

Particularly good

issue. Very nice to see Starling, Vulture’s granddaughter and would-be hero, again. The other stories were impressive too, especially the first with Spiderman and the Goblin fighting and doing science together for a time.

This was fine, ok, average, acceptable. What wasn't ok was the £8 asking price. Totally overpriced for a ok book that didn't do a whole lot.

LGY 850. Spider-Man and the Green Goblin team up? What foe is Spidey against that the Green Goblin is at his side? Will Ghost Spider, Miles Morales and friends help Peter?
