Short actionable book about automated (triggered) emailing.

For beginners this is absolute gold. Just read it and apply what you can and you'll get great results.

If you already know a thing or two about email marketing, the book might leave you wanting more. It's only 93 pages with a pretty big font.

I would welcome more examples of emails which worked for Chris and his clients.

These are the 9 automations:
- cart abandonment
- browse abandonment
- welcome sequence
- order confirmation (with a twist 😀)
- before it ships email
- post purchase review gathering
- VIP sequence
- cross-sell and upsell
- win-back sequence

From these I am not quite sure how to implement browse abandonment. How do I get an email of somebody who's browsing the site? She/he would need to be logged in or tagged with a cookie.

The best is the special order confirmation. You send a funny and personalized message thanking for the first order. Not many e-commerce businesses use these so it will help you stand out.

All in all this is a good short book about automated emails. Would recommend for everybody who wants to learn more about this topic.

In this short, focused business book you'll learn specific ways to use email marketing to grow an ecommerce business. It delivers exactly on the title of the book. I like that the author also included some examples of companies using the methods. One caveat is that the examples and methods assume you are using a platform like Klaviyo that makes behavioral email marketing automation possible. One of the best, applied marketing books I've read in a long time.

This is the most weightless book I've read in regards to any kind of marketing.

Chris is selling you an ad, you are paying to be sold to...

This is a worthless book and is so full of fluff that just takes up space on pages.

There is nothing really worth your time with this book that you can learn. It just suggests things that might not be obvious to someone who doesn't know anything, but you can get a lot more information on articles on the sites that offer email marketing subscriptions.

Simple Strategies Scale Best!

Great book, but I fear people will miss the nuggets. Chris writes as though everything is a matter of fact! I love this because there’s no fluff. There is only actionable information. It means people have to take action. I hope people do.
