Good Adventure Tale

Enjoyed the story as well as the local color it contained. It could have used improved editing. But overall an imaginative tale.

It only gets better!

The 2nd novel of the Jim Dieter series is even better than the first. Can’t wait to start the next one!

Good story that needs proofreading

This continuation of the story moves at a good pace. Unfortunately, the bad grammar, incorrect word usage, and misspellings are trying at times.

Interesting premise but the proofreader fell down on his / her job. There were at lease 138 grammatical errors making it difficult to read. It shouldn't be that hard to distinguish between then and than and how to use an apostrophe. These errors should be fixed and the book would jump to 4 stars.

Poor Editing

Although I felt the story was a bit contrived, I did like the three main characters. I was often taken aback, however, by the poor editing. There was an unusual amount of grammar and spelling errors which led to my rereading sentences to try and grasp the meaning. I really think these mistakes should be corrected!

The terrible editing drove me crazy! Poor spelling, improper grammar, zero apostrophes all caused me to stop reading - multiple times on each page. Only finished reading this one because it was a decent story. Won't ready anything else by this author.

Very nice story

Book 2 was much better than book1! A nice surprise. Storyline held my interest.more character development in this book. Still lots of annoying typos and grammar that should have been caught by the editors. Just a personal annoyance. Doesn't hold the story back.

Again a very good read with a great flow and fine combining of history and storytelling. Just next time, please get a better proofreader. The spelling mistakes and many typos are challenging.

I like Smith's stories but, as a former language teacher I wish the e-book version could meet with eye of an editor for spelling and grammar errors before they are sold to unsuspecting customers.

An OK book with some known history of the War and our visit to the Vatacin. For me the book kept running of track and also failed to complete the detail of some actions.

Good story but too much jumping around. Too much detail on characters who don’t make it to the end.

Interesting

Good story. A bit hard to follow with all the changes in time and locations. Many punctuation errors especially in the possessive both singular and plural.

Interesting premise. At times it felt a little disjointed but quickly circled back. Overall, it was an interesting read.
