My Cowboy Bad Boss is book 5 in the Billionaire Ranch Brothers series. Gage Haven has a cute 3 year old boy named Wesley. His wife had a bad car accident and unfortunately died from the injuries. Gage felt lost and wanted to move on with his life so after 3 months he met Lorde. They only seen each other a few weeks before he was caught kissing another woman. Lorde would not allow that and they broke up. Now he is trying to work the luxury ranch he owns and the restaurant that he had for his wife at night on the ranch. House restaurant was known world wide for the food. He played host most nights at the restaurant leaving little time for Wesley. He decides it is time for hiring a nanny. When the agency sends Lorde to the interview she recognized the house as belonging to Gage. She had her reservations but, she loved being around Wesley. Gage was excited that fate sent Lorde back to him. But, Gage is already dating Daisy and then he decides he wants the feeling he has with Lorde. She makes it feel like home. Will Lorde be the right one to become the mixing piece of their family? Not while Daisy keeps showing up and Gage not breaking up with her. Lorde refused to be the other woman.

So this is the 5th book in the series, the other 4 were ok but not that exciting. They just end with no real ending. The woman in the books are really not mentioned in any of the books after their own. They thing that gets me is Gage cheats on his girlfriend in high School who ends up being his wife. The h Lourdes is a previous girl friend who he cheated on. Now he is with another girl friend who he cheats on with Lourdes. She is lusting after the husband of the couple she works for and lives with. This author should maybe figure stuff out before she keeps putting out series that make no sense.

A really good read,this book has everything you’d ever need .A rancher,his three year old son,and a nanny whom he used to date,years before.The rancher is very busy at one of the restaurants on his ranch,so needs a live in nanny for his son,as his hours are so unpredictable.Then the nanny shows up and is so good with his son he wonders how he got along without her,since his wife died years ago.
It really is a good read,and very believable,so I hope you try it

Another great book in this series on Billionaire Ranch Brothers Gage is the oldest brother in the Haven Family. Joshua his father is suffering from cancer and Gage has been trying to help him as the head of the family and their large ranch resorts. Lorde isa nanny who hired out and ended up being the live in nanny for Gages son Wesley. Great book and a great read. This is my review and mine alone. Norma Gorrill

False Advertising
This was not a cowboy story. The setting may have been a ranch but the major focus was his restaurant. He was a terrible character as well. I kept hoping for a new male character to enter the story to somehow salvage it. Nash was whiny and indecisive. The whole book was too emo for me.

Enjoyed reading
Enjoyed reading about Gage and Lorde. Gage works a lot of hours between the ranch and the restaurant. He hires Lords as Nanny for his son but he has to get over the lost of his wife so he can love again.

Excellent Story
This was a very good story to read. When someone loses a spouse it is hard to get to start over. Then you meet someone else and you are not sure. You need to follow your heart.

Talk about having a “complicated past”, Gage and Lorde definitely do. He is very fortunate that his son is irresistible. I have enjoyed this series and was excited to find a couple I hadn’t read yet.

But bad for a cheesy romance story. I thought it would be a more risqué but not at all. Very sedate but a good read all the same. Guy meets girl ups and downs ins and outs and eventually happy ever after tadah!

I was looking forward to Gage’s story and it was good BUT, another abrupt ending. Geez, I guess this just the way this author writes.

Bad Ass Boss? He is nice, in pain emotionally, knows he has money. But, he felt shallow to me. This book had the whole combo of love, emotions and family, but it just cut off in too many places. The main character in being called a bad ass was because he was emotionally stilted.
