I love to read MC romances. I’ve just always enjoyed reading about the tightness of the MC brothers and the way they love their women. I love it so much that I have always wanted to write one. However, being a short story romance author, it seemed impossible to build an in-depth storyline like most MC romance series, but I wanted to give it a try. Therefore, I present to you my version of an MC romance. I’m borrowing the term MC Lite from Frankie Love. It is heavy on the motorcycle club sense of family, it has lots of alpha men and the curvy women that love them. However, it is a little lite on the drama and most violence is handled off-page. I sincerely hope you like it.

Plot: Maddy's been in love with Iron forever, and vice-versa. He thinks he's doing the right thing by staying friends with her, though, until a rival MC sets their sights on her.
Commentary: Iron is older than Maddy, a friend of her dad's, so he does the ol' "I'm pushing you away for your own good" trope (which is always followed by a crisis that leads to a reconciliation) - it's a standard, but solid. I enjoyed this one, maybe most of the series.

Wonderful!! This was a nice quick, short read. I absolutely love it.
Iron/Joshua and Maddy have known each other since they were fourteen. Iron doesn’t want Maddie to fall for him because of who he is. Maddy wants Iron to know she loves him. Every Wednesday the Exiled Guardians go for lunch in town, and Maddy tells Irons how she feel. He tells her he doesn’t date, and she’s not the type he prefers. Later Maddy goes to the bakery to grab her dad a treat, when she overhears a few women talking about going to the clubhouse for a party. She asks the women if she can come, one gives her address and tells her to meet her. When Maddy gets to the women house she finds out the women is going to spy for the Fallen Kings, so she tries to leave but another guy Crater catches Maddie. Crater tells Maddie he’s always wanted to get with one of the Guardians’ and punches her in the face and then starts kissing her. Maddy uses a move Iron taught her and head butts him in the nose. She runs to her car and goes to her apartment. The next day Maddy has a black eye and a busted lip so she calls her dad and tells him she has a migraine. Iron goes to the hardware store to see how Maddy is and finds out she didn’t come in to work. Her father tells him he’s worried about her so Iron goes to her home. Iron tells Maddy if she doesn’t let him in he’ll bust the door down. She tells him it’s not a good time and she’ll catch up later. She knows he won’t leave unless she lets him in so she pulls her hair down to cover her face. When Iron gets in he starts looking around, then he notices her face. She tells him she ran into a door, he doesn’t believe her and she knows she can’t lie to him. She tells him what happened and he wants to go take care of Crater. Maddy tells him he’ll leave her alone, and she doesn’t want him helping her. She tells him she loves him and doesn’t want him to get hurt. He tells her he wants her and she’s all he thinks about, but he’s no good for her. She tells him not to push her away, she’ll be whatever he wants her to be. He tells her not to say that she is everything he wants. Iron tells Maddy she’s coming back to the clubhouse with him until they find Crater. Then he calls her dad to fill him in on what happened. After Maddie gets settled her and Iron go to his room, she tells him she wants him. Iron asks her if she is sure, he knows it will be her first time, but it’s also his first time too. Iron finds out Crater raided Maddy’s home and left her a message. The next morning she wants to head to the hardware store to help her dad but he tells her she’s not leaving the clubhouse. Iron talks to Sniper and Rancher about how they can find Crater, when a women lands on his lap and Maddy walks in, she runs to her car and leaves. When’s she sees what Crater did to her house she runs back outside and finds Crater waiting for her. Maddy hits him in the temple and when he falls she runs to the road and hears motorcycles coming. First things first; I like the cover of this book.
Iron is the eighth book in the ‘’exiled guardians MC’’ series. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. Maddy has had a crush on iron for years. Iron has wanted Maddy for a while. Being slightly older, a biker and her father’s friend, will he still get his woman?
The chemistry between Iron and Maddy is clear to see and I liked them together.
I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.

Maddy has loved Iron forever, she finally decides to take the initiative and ask him out. He brushes her off, he loves her too but doesn’t think he’s good enough for her. Not wanting to give up she overhears two girls talking about a party at the club and Maddy wants to go. Tara one of the girls says she can go together. She asks Maddy to pick her up so they can ride over together. Turns out the girl is from a rival MC and wants to spy on the guys for their leader. He sees Maddy and harasses her, when she tells him she’ll not let Tara spy on the club he hits her and tries to attack her. She gets a few punches in and escapes. When she doesn’t go into her family store her father gets worried and has Iron check on her, he finds her all bruised and scared. She tells him what happened, he takes her to the clubhouse where they have sex. They are both virgins, though Maddy finds it hard to believe Iron has not been with other women. Drama trying to find rival club leader for retaliation. Maddy seeing a club sweetbutt on Iron’s lap, freaks out and runs home where bad guy almost gets her. It all works out in the end with a happy ending, pregnancy and epilogue with them getting married.
I didn’t like Maddy she was stubborn to the point of stupid and Iron was just meh.

Maddy is tierd of waiting for Iron to make a move on her, she has loved him for a long time now. She decides to go to a party at the club house with a girl she just met, but soon finds out the other girl is a spy and maddy get into trouble.
Iron has always loved Maddy but always believed he is not good enough for her. He finds out she was and still is in trouble and decides to keep her at the club house wherenhe can keep an eye on her. With her so close to danger he is done hidding his feelings, he loves her and will make her his.

Sweet!
I enjoyed reading this story. It was sweet and a bit scary. It fit in with the other books in this series, like a continuation of the overall storyline. I liked the fact the she stepped up to the plate, and put it all on the line. Sadly, it took her getting hurt, for him to realize just how quickly he could have lost her. The rest, is sweet childhood crush, blossoming into a happily forever always love.

Yayyy I absolutely LOVE this series and was so excited to find that there was a new one out!! Hope Ford definitely writes my favorite parts of what she calls MC Lite.
Completely safe and free of any abuse or cheating, no ow/om drama, no other after meeting (they met at 14!!!!)dual virgins. A very very happily ever after! Fingers crossed for more in this series!

A sweet and entertaining friends to lovers read. The storyline was intriguing and entertaining, and I loved the characters. Josh and Maddy were an adorable couple, once they got past their differences. They were cute together and had great chemistry. I do wish it could have been longer but it was still a enjoyable read.

great story!!
Loved iron. Loved that they were each other’s firsts. I have to say compared to the other ladies I liked Maddy the least. Her back and forth and running away when she knows it’s not safe. And then refusing to get married cause she thinks he doesn’t want it. Just ridiculous. Loved the story.

Finally, a good one, haha
This story was the best of the series. We had some drama (proper drama this time).
The relationship with Maddy and Josh (iron) was cute.. friends to lovers. And I loved that she refused to marry him after a day.
And FINALLY A BABY GIRL omg it only took like 10 books for a baby not named after the dad.

I gave this a 5 star rating because it had drama, danger and heat. When Maddie trusts the wrong girl about going to a club house party, she finds out Tara was going there to spy on the Guardians for the Kings. She's in danger and Iron is trying to protect her. HEA.
