Mr. Winkle, once again, sets an overwhelmingly compassionate storytelling masterpiece together that never seems to benefit Lucas, in his search for his kidnapped girlfriend. Lucas is befriended by an unknown gunslinger, who definitely goes above and beyond when called upon!
Mr. Winkle, once again, comes through with another five star extravaganza, as he has Lucas on a will goose chase trying to rescue his fiance from a group of ruthless cut throats. Lucas befriends a gunslinger, Nathan, who certainly proves himself worthy when the goings gets touch. Angelina proves herself worthy time and again. The bandit boss, called El Diablo, also proves himself capable but comes up a little bit short.
Outstanding storylines throughout this compelling western folklore masterpiece, and once again Mr. Winkle goes above and beyond with his superb selections of characters. Throws in a few Indians right when the goings gets tough.
Most definitely recommend this outstanding western adventure to all readers,but especially to you western folklore addicted readers, as the story only gets better with the turn of each and every page. Even you non-western enthusiasts will find yourselves completely engrossed within the first few chapters of this compassionately entertaining story of unending adventures! I have enjoyed all of the Poteet adventures, but this one certainly the best this far!ll😃

This book and storyline were exceptional and I thoroughly enjoyed all the books in this Series. The Author in this book had e everything that I enjoy in a book with tons of action and suspense, along with a happy ever after love story and wonderful ending. Thank you for a very enjoyable time reading all of your amazing books. During this Pandemic I have read a book every 3 days. I highly recomend all your books to Western Readers everywhere. Thanks to an exceptional Western Author.

Lucas Poteet Book 5
Another great adventure and a fitting end to the series! Inserting Nathan Gage into the story is a nice touch! Gage and Poteet together make a formable duo, in combination they rose to the occasion over and over. Mr. Winkle never ceases to amaze, book after book!

What a way to end a very good series!
Wow this was a awesome story to end this series, loved it! Very time I'd think it was about to get sad something would happen and change it! Great ending!

This was a good Lucas Poteet western. The story was full of action and adventure, while having a good story line, one that is pretty much straightforward.
