I am not sure how to feel about this book. I liked it but I did not love it. It was hard to get through the first few chapters (I actually took 4 days to read it). I kept waiting for the point where I get so hooked till the point where I cant put it down. That point never came. But I was invested enough to finish it and I do think the author umped the suspense at the halfway mark for me to get engaged. I did notice that the last day reading I went from 65% until the end of the book. There is tons of interesting plot development and the characters are intense, which is why I liked the story. I will probably read the next book of the series and hopefully the author ties it up nicely.

This was a simply riveting read, simply captivating
Rebellion launched an attack on the Ruins and Tiberius reconstructs the ruins by seeing that they are rebuilt to the same specification’s or as close as possible.
Maxim and Ryan and the queen wish to bring back control and calm to the two territories however they know that this is never going to be an easy thing to achieve.
This is an action filled read with strong characters and wonderful storyline that makes it impossible to put this book down until you reach the end.

I really enjoyed this book. It was action packed and hooked me from the beginning. There is the rebellion, a queen, and lots of action steamy and otherwise. I could not put his book down. The downside is that it is part of a series so I will have to wait for the next book to see how it ends. If it is anything like this book you can count me in. The characters were great and I loved the writing.

Loved the book it was great, the story was well written and the characters are interesting. Wow so worth reading, once you start you cannot stop, the action, suspense, adventure and hot and steamy.

The author crafted a captivating world in this story. The action is intense. The chemistry between the two main characters is palpable from the moment they met. The story was very interesting because of its desolation and strife. Good story.
