serendipity

Rate this book
“poetry has the need to be written and the need to be processed in the mouth of its master and the mind of its audience.” Liv Chalmers' ‘serendipity’ is her first collection of self-published poetry. Recognising love, loss, the pain in mental illness and the writing process itself through her poetry, each entry offers a seemingly 'happy accident' conjured in a serendipitous moment of intense feeling. She explores the ways in which her words depict emotion, and how an audience can interpret something so complex into a relatable or empathetic piece of writing.
