I love the Glock Grannies series and this installment fit the bill perfectly. Funny, a great mystery and some awesome heroines. I am already excited for the next one and hope this will be a long ongoing series.
Wonderful! This series is a must read. Being as I am a woman of a certain age myself, I seriously am enthused with the persistence, attitude, and courage of the Glock Grannies. Nikki is also growing, developing, and learning more about herself in each new adventure. His author has a way with words that pull a reader right in...and sigh when sigh when the last page has been read. So looking forward to number 6. What new adventure will be faced on the road trip? Will N and S really get to be friends? Where will that lead? Be sure to grab this series! I'm sure if you like cozies, you will find it as captivating as I did.
Nikki has met some new friends and hadn’t even memorized their names yet when she went running full out to escape a snake she had accidentally grabbed as she searched the grass. Fortunately, Kent caught it and held it up to show her! On a geocaching hunt, adult treasure-hunting with a GPS, with Annalise and her friends, Nikki was about to go back to the car to avoid the “wildlife” when Annalise found the geocache they were looking for! Piper was the last to choose something from the container – a message in a little bottle. But the message was in code or something: “TMBA PIDM AWUM NCV”. But now Nikki was excited and eager to continue looking for the next one! As she ran to catch up with the others, she trips over something and discovers a dead body! She called Owen who knew right away Nikki had found trouble once again!
A code was found in an envelope left at the Newspaper office for Nikki. Could it have anything to do with John Asuza’s murder or someone who just read about it in the paper? Then when Nikki and Grandma Dean went to talk to the victim’s mother in their retirement community, Nikki found another paper with a code on it and a business card tucked under a bowl in the kitchen! Owen didn’t seem to take the codes seriously, but Nikki had a feeling they were indeed connected to the murder somehow. Even though the victim is hated by pretty much everybody, Nikki and the Grannies are more determined than ever to find his killer, and Nikki is turning her attention to the series of cryptic cyphers to find a lead. Can they crack the code to discover the killer who seems to have intentionally left a trail of possible clues to follow?
This is a fun mystery to follow with an ending you won’t see coming! Grab your copy and join the ladies as they help Owen “crack” the case!
Nicky wants to meet more people her own age - much as she likes the Glock Grannies - and goes geocaching with friends of an acquaintance, only to literally fall over a body of a locally famous man. When suddenly more and more coded messages appear and they all seem to have to do with the murder the Glock Granny gang cannot help itself but get active again to solve the murder. An intriguing story with a few surprises, engagingly written and all in all entertaining. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
The Grannies are at it again when Nikki who is visiting her Grannie and stumbles over a body while socalizing with her new friends. The victim was not well liked but Nikki and the Grannies are determied to find the killer. There is romance, numerous clues, hilarious incdents and a surprise endng. A very fun and enjoyable read I love this series.

This was such a good read with a crime to solve, humour and a touch of romance. It’s the first book I have read in this series but about to find and read the earlier books. Now I know the characters I want to know how it all began.

Another fun romp in the Florida retirement community! But this story involves more of the younger generation, gaming, and google. And the code that we learn about is a simple letter substitution - but makes the story more entertaining.

Nikki is trying to do somethings with people more her own age. Nice idea, but let's face it, things don't always go as planned. This little attempt ends up with a murder mystery with cryptic messages. Of course, this does not go unnoticed by the Glock Grannies. Enjoy this laugh out loud story with the Grannies and Nikki. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book from Booksprout.
Stepping out of the comfort zone into the wild with geocaching friends, Nikki is intrigued by a code and stumbles on a body. Along with the Grannies, Nikki works to find the truth. I enjoyed this mystery and laughed out loud at the rescue mission behind the Mayor’s house.

This was fun. A mystery with codes that the reader could try to solve. While I figured out the words, I didn't figure out who-done-it. The tale Geraldine's mystery man is revealed and we find out who Nikki's real grandfather was and why he isn't in Geraldine's life. Next stop Branson to see this mysterious man and see if Geraldine will reconnect with the love of her life.
My favorite so far! There were a few parts that are so funny and one in particular between Hattie and Lucca that had me laughing so hard I peed myself! 🤣 (it wasn’t only what was in Hattie’s purse, but also what she said while pulling the item out. Hilarious!!)
Next is book 6, Road Trip. Let’s see what the grannies and Nikki get into on their way to Branson to find Geraldine’s first love.
I love this series! When everyone disliked the murder victim, there are plenty of suspects. The solid plot and hilarious characters make this a fun read. I’m looking forward to the next book. I received this book free and chose to make a voluntary, unbiased review.

These grannies are a hoot! I rarely laugh out loud while reading a cozy mystery but I tend to burst out laughing multiple times with the funny ladies! I envy Nikki getting to hang out with women of such wit! I love this series immensely for that reason!
I've been enjoying reading this story, Crack the Code, a story of murder and mystery. The author does a wonderful job of putting her characters together in a story of adventure.
Outrageous and entertaining characters tell a witty and page turning whodunit. Hard to put this down. It's always fun to try to figure out who done it. Good book for the Glock Grannies series.

The grannies learn about the video gaming industry while trying to find a murderer we get to learn s little more about the grannies which is fascinating we also learn about you tube as well. Great storyline
Will the grannies find the killer? Will Geraldine tell her grand-daughter about the mystery man in the photo album? I can hardly wait to read the next book in the series.
What a brilliantly entertaining read. Fast paced, granny antics galore and all the while Nikki is evolving and becoming a super sleuth. Brave, daring and relentless, these women are amazing as are the books.
Nikki was trying to do something with people her own age and literally tripped over a dead body. This led to a series of codes being left for multiple people around town. While she and the grannies where trying to decipher tge codes and solve the murder things were going on with all the grannies too. Nikki and Owen were also dealing with personal stuff. In they end the murder did get solved and tge outcome was unexpected.

Nikki and the Grannies have to solve a puzzle so to speak to catch a killer. What they don't know is the killer isn't playing by the rules and if not for a hard hitting Granny the killer almost gets away. Poor Owen is in way over his head with this bunch but he wouldn't have it any other way. 😉
