I have to admit that I love Michael Richan's writing style. I have to date read all of his books and have pretty much loved all of them. I love the concepts and really enjoy the characters. This book starts a somewhat different direction for the River and how it is used. I am looking forward to starting the next in the series and can't wait until the third book comes out.

Definitely need to start at the beginning of the series, but this was free from Fussy Librarians email. The book was interesting, and well written. It held my interest, despite the lack of context I would have had, and I finished the entire book. I might consider delving deeper into this series, if I didn't have others on my list I am itching to read first. Good cliffhanger ending.
