A collection of essays and poems, with the intention of empowering youths and adults alike. The main theme of the book itself is to be there for yourself, to be pick yourself up when you're down, to drives yourself to the goals you want to achieve in life, to be dependent on yourself for your own responsibilities and growth, to care of your own physical and mental heath. His self-empowering philosophy is clearly a direct inspiration from the works of stoics like, Marcus Aurelius and Seneca.

I personally enjoyed his essays on the use of books and music to effectively rewire one's emotion, to be strong with the help of such resources. There were many valuable essays in the book, while some come across as a bit dull. These essays lacks punch due to the author trying to look profound with his solutions to common problems, although it is possible to arrive to the same conclusion as him with a little experience and common sense. That would be my only criticism of the book. Enjoy.
