Unstoppable Liv Beaufont #7

Die unbeugsame Kämpferin

Rate this book

Oder was der Vogel essen will...

Was sie findet, soll alles verändern.

Yet another brilliant book

I think the thing that I hate the most is how I have to wait weeks between these books. This is such a fantastically crafted series that I finish each book the day of release.

Well this is getting good we are getting answers and the story line is heating up. Will she and Steven get together? Will she workout what Alder is up to? Will they find the dragon's egg before it hatches? So many questions and I can't stop reading I need to know what happens next. The only downfall is that I'm running out of books. The end is coming.

This series just keeps getting better with each book. The characters are funny, sarcastic, and you can not help but be totally invested in them. The amazing characters, dramatic action, intrigue, suspense, sharp wit and hints of potential romance keep you glued to the page and have you laughing out loud as well. From the humour of a chicken scientist, to the secretive, loyal lynx, the giant snakes and power-hungry villains, this fast paced, entertaining story will leave you wanting more of Liv Beaufont’s world.

I found it really hard to put this book down - both to sleep, and every time I needed to do something after waking.

It feels as though the books in this series are going by far too quickly, and I want to savour every minute I read Liv's story.

Things are starting to really come to a head now and, although Liv seems to be spending more time than ever, doing favours for various people, in order for them to do the same for her, Liv doesn't mind a bit, as she enjoys seeing, and befriending, other magical species - very much unlike Adler, and the other Councillors who wish to keep all magical power to Magicians alone, and preferably, in their own hands!

But, with a growing darkness in the House of Seven, and Adler behaving strangely, by trying to follow her around, whenever she visits Father Time, Liv is beginning to suspect that there's far more going on than she's managed to discover.

Then, between doing yet another task for Father Time, and rescuing Adler's miniature dragon, who asks for help to escape him, Liv isn't sure what will happen, or when she'll be able to take the trip to the Matterhorn, where her parents met their deaths.

There are so many layers to this story, and I'm in loving exploring each new thing that Liv discovers. Her relationships with all the various magic as l species - and humans - is becoming vital in her search for answers, and I'm thoroughly enjoying reading about each one.

So, with finishing this book, I'm off to read book eight: The Ferocious Force then, as usual, once I've finished reading it, I'll catch you on the flip side!

Book 7 in the Unstoppable Liv Beaumont series and the writers have found their rhythm. This story has a proper individual arc while still progressing the overall quest and family story. Excused from the council to take on Father Time's mission, Liv focuses on turning her chicken friend back into their person form and stopping the magician who changed her into a chicken to take over her magical time devices. Of course to complete the mission, Liv needs to check in with her regulars the brownies, King Rudolf and company. At the same time, Liv is working to reveal her mother's message in her sword and find Sophie's dragon egg. In the meantime the Sinclairs are more focused on stopping the truth from getting out. Somehow it all comes together in a good way. I enjoyed the hipster phase of the Fae.

The story has stabilized in good way. The puns, snarky quips and bad jokes continue but all the crew are growing on me. If they were longer, it might be too much but they are bite sized fun. I missed the kittens in this one but glad to see more of Sophie and a new friend with the chicken. I look forward to the next adventure to bring the miniature dragon to Hawaii.

Olivia (Liv) Beaufont.
The Unrelenting Fighter (Beaufont series/Unstoppable Liv Beaufont #7) by Sarah Noffke is a fast-paced, imaginative, and heart-filled urban fantasy (series) that blends magic, mystery, and a dash of humor into a binge-worthy adventure. Ms. Noffke crafts a world where history has been rewritten, ancient councils pull the strings, and a few determined heroes - often underestimated - must fight to protect both the magical and mortal realms.
The series explores themes of resilience, identity, and the courage to challenge the status quo. The Beaufont family, with its rich legacy and complicated dynamics, provides a compelling backbone to the stories. Each book adds to the layers of hidden truths, political intrigue, and personal growth, making it hard to stop at just one instalment.
A captivating, feel-good fantasy adventure with enough twists to keep you hooked and enough heart to keep you invested.
Happy Reading…

Now that Liv is working for Papa Creola instead of the council, the god-magician wants Adler to find Papa and kill him. Meanwhile Liv has to recover the Dequium Set of weapons for the gnome Subner in exchange for his help with retrieving information from her mom’s sword.

I’m so proud of Idigos and I love the interactions between Liv and the chicken. But the cat and chicken puns were getting old.

Fave scenes: the demon quicksand, Liv trying to visit Rudolph, Liv & the chicken in the bathroom and Papa’s explanation of the elements.

Good

Liv’s story continues with the saga of the chicken-that-isn’t-a-chicken, and a few steps in the right direction towards figuring out the who/what/why behind her parents’ deaths.
Since she is now working for Father Time, we get to see a bit more of him and his cohorts.
Things are definitely winding up in Liv’s world, making for an action packed adventure, that urban fantasy fans will enjoy.

Enjoying getting to know more about Plato and the dragons as well as our main character Liv. Do be aware that even though this book has a main quest, the story arc goes through several books. Recommend having the entire series ready (it is in a compilation for a good price), and to read in order back to back.

To save a chicken!

Liv goes on a mission with her trusty chicken side kick. Laughs, fighting and bad puns are packed into this fun book! As Liv expands her circle of friends, she comes ever closer to finding out what her parents were working on.

Liv finds the most interesting people. The Scientist is in the top five. Okay, Stefan is putting the moves on. At the pace of a sloth, which is amusing considering his super speed. Can we all get tiny dragons 🐉 for Christmas?

Redemption?

I love it when I am surprised in a book I'm reading and there are a few in this one. My favorite is the redemption of the mini dragon Indikos. I hated he belonged to Adler and to watch him save the day for Sophia was sweet. Definitely a great book. Enjoy!

Since Adler stole the egg, it's been difficult to find it, but there is help at hand, help that Adler has no idea is there, but it leads to a whole new adventure and more trials and tribulations as Liv battles the evil and gains more wisdom, preferring mercy to violence where she can.

Liv is awesome

Everyone needs a Liv in their life. I love how she counts and relies on her friends and she isn’t some one woman army.

I am finding this series good, but it is very long and I must admit I am swaying a little. I will still listen to the whole series, but I am finding it a little hard going now.

I've been waiting and waiting for the next book looking out for information. Goodreads author page is not updated nor was there any information about the book release on it as well as Amazon. In my opinion, that's a total bummer. I even check http://www.sarahnoffke.com/ but the books are not even listed. It would just be nice to have info every once in a while.
As for the book it didn't disappoint whatsoever! It was very well written the characters continue to captivate me as well as the story. I don't believe in giving away spoilers but I would highly recommend this series to anyone who reads. I'm really curious Stefan Ludwig is always hesitant on saying something to Liv and I also feel like he has more than friendly feelings if you catch my drift. It would be nice if Liv confides just a little bit more in him and hopefully, their friendship would blossom more. Another thing I'm curious about Emilio like we get small tidbits with the conflict he has with the council but hopefully more can come to light. Looking forward to the next book!!
