Asia Bianchi is the only daughter of the feared Stefano Bianchi. She is living a lonely life, no friends and certainly no man would ever dare to date her, she wants out but there is no way that she can leave that is until the day she literally walks in to a man and spills scaupding coffee all over him. It’s clear right away that he had no idea who she is when he asks her out on a date. However when she discovers who Cameron is and that he’s in town to take her father down once and for all she knows the truth needs to come out especially after her father finds out and her only way to keep him alive is to spy for her father. Can she keep Cameron out of danger and will he ever forgive her when he discovers the truth?
Detective Cameron is the new recruit to the task force who’s sole purpose is to finally rid the city of the notorious drug lord Stefano Bianchi. This is the new start he was looking for, even more so when he walks into the most beautiful girl he has ever seen. This city is turning out to be his best decision of his life. That is until he discovers that the woman he’s fallen for is none other than the daughter of the man he wants to destroy. Can Cameron really trust Asia or dies she have ulterior motives?

Detective Cameron : Curvy Crime (Part 1) is the first book in the duet story of Detective Cameron Davis and Asia Bianchi.
Asia is twenty-five years old, lives at home with very dysfunctional parents and works as a freelance graphic designer. She still does not know what she wants to do but she knows she does not want to work in the "family business". Her father owns car dealerships all across the country but he is also the largest drug dealer in Washington State. So no thank you to selling cars or drugs.
Cam is a detective in NYC but because he was so successful he was transferred to the Seattle Police Department to go after Stefano Bianchi. He misses NYC and is having a hard time adjusting to the Seattle rain. It is not that he hates Seattle but just that he is not enjoying his new home. That starts to change one day when a lovely young woman crashes into him on the sidewalk and spills her coffee all over his chest. Instead of worrying about third-degree burns to his chest he is more worried about getting the beautiful and very sexy lady to go to dinner with him. As she does not turn him down outright he gives her his number and tells her to text him, and then she walks away.
Asia is attracted to the sexy older man that she crashed into. But as she does not know who he is she is not about to jump at his invitation. Instead she waits three days before texting with the time and restaurant she will meet him at that night. Over a dinner at her favorite restaurant she discovers that Cam is a detective for SPD. She decides to keep her family a secret and makes up a last name. What will happen when Cam finds out who her father really is? Will Asia tell Cam or will he find out through the investigation? Will her father find out she is dating a cop and if so what will he do to her?
This is a great first part in the story of Asia and Cam. It does end with a slight cliffhanger so be ready for that, but it is nothing suspenseful. I found the story-line to be well plotted with some danger, action, suspense, romance and hot and steamy sexy chemistry. Both Asia and Cam are very likeable and even though she is hiding who her father is from him you can understand why. I very much enjoyed this part and look forward to reading the second book in the duet.

Will Detective Cameron walk away? Or will he be rushing to Asia?
I am in love with this book, Detective Cameron and Asia. When Cameron is literally run into by this gorgeous and curvy beauty, (Asia) he is mind blown. She is the sexiest most beautiful woman he's ever seen. So when she offers to purchase him a new shirt because of the hot coffee she has drenched him with, he refuses. The only payment he'll accept is if she'll go to dinner with him. She accepts as she is quite taken with him as well. Neither discloses their last names or what their occupation is. Needless to say, when they finally do it doesn't go over well. You see, Asia's father is one of the largest drug/crime bosses around and Cameron is a detective with the Seattle Police Department. Oh, but it gets better, Cameron is part of a special task force specifically created to take down Asia's father. Will Cameron and Asia be able to find a way to be together? Or is betrayal in their future. I enjoyed this so much. I mean the book just flowed from one thing to the next. I cannot wait to get Detective Cameron part 2. It is already out so I am ending this review so I can keep reading this incredibly entertaining and exciting book. I highly recommend this book and this author, Scarlett Hope. Definitely a 5 star plus read.

i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the first past of this series. In this book, Cam is a detective who is transfered to Seattle from New York and is in charge of a task force that is investigating drug lord Stefano Bianchi. One day he is getting coffee and a young woman crashes into him and spills coffee all over him. Aria is known in Seattle because of her father, Stefano Bianchi, and she wishes she could leave. Aria doesn't want to be in her father's business and when the handsome man offers to take her to dinner, she knows he doesn't know who she is. Asia wants to date Cam and when she learns he is a police officer, she is torn. I enjoyed this story.I liked Cam, he was a good guy and he really wanted to do the right thing. He was trying to build his case, and he wanted to trust Aria, but a part of him couldn't help thinks she was going to betray him. I think Cam was Aria's hope of getting away from her father. Good one.

This book can be read in less than an hour and there is a second part to it so it does end without you getting all the answers. it is fast and fun and keeps you thoroughly engaged

Detective Cameron is sent to Seattle from New York to help take down. One of the biggest crime lords there is but what he was t expecting was to fall for his daughter. When Asia accidentally runs into Cameron and spills coffee all over him their attraction to each other is immediate the only thing is he has no clue who she really is. What will happen when he learns who her father is?
Scarlett has written a great story that is going to have plenty of surprises to go along with it. Asia and Cameron have chemistry but what will happen when excited she’s forced to do something she doesn’t want to do. Will she lose Cameron?

I chose to read and review this book. Awesome work. Everything is well written. I loved Asia and Cameron's characters. I liked their interactions a lot. Their chemistry is amazing. Of course, Asia had a lot on her plate in this one but amazing. It has everything from romance sparks steam action suspense thrill not only that loyalties are tested in this one hell of a packed book. I was captivated from start to end was unhappy it ended. I cant wait to read the next one. I recommend it.

I hate cliffhangers
The story has promise and it held my interest mostly. However, the short read of the first "book" in this series leaves me wanting more because I don't want to buy the next few books to see what happens. It could have been great if the author worked the plot into this 1 part and created a series plot arc that followed the conflict from the beginning but instead, it cuts everything short.

He is part of the police department and she is the daughter of the crime lord he is trying to put away. They meet and are attracted to each other. But what does he do when he finds out who she is. Lots of excitement, twists and turns and much more. I received a review copy and voluntarily review it.

I'm completely hooked
What a way to start a series! Cam and Asia have the perfect makings but the fact that she's the daughter of the drug lord he's determined to bring down has me biting my nails. I can only imagine what will happen next. Caught between a rock and hard place just received a new meaning.

I like both Cameron and Asia. Sorry that they are in the predicament of being on opposing sides. Very short, but maybe I will read book 2 as well.
