Keiji is a college student that has the ability to see the red string of fate, which binds people to their soulmates. It’s all fun and games for Keiji until he sees his string, and he’s more than surprised to find out who it’s attached to.

This story was so sweet! I loved each of the characters portrayed, as they were all really amiable.
Keiji has such a funny narrative, it made everything all the more enjoyable get through.

The art style in this manga was really great! Akira Yoshio possesses a wonderful drawing technique.
This was a really enjoyable, quick read!

red thread of fate ? comedy ?
say no more.

i wish the story was longer, more developed, and sweeter, but it was good enough for me to spend a nice moment reading it, i guess.

¡Me encantó!

Toca aprovechar y seguir leyendo.

I definitely read this before, but I didn't mark it as read and I have no clue when I read it so here I am reading it again and officially marking it as read.

It's a cute short story about the red string of fate. Kei can be a little annoying about how against fate he is and the ending was a bit rushed. Like Hiro seemed like a different person all of a sudden. But overall it was a pretty cute read.

Well, it's another case of "just realized it's love after I 'cut' the ties". There's one thing that I don't really understand though,

*This includes sexual content*

This manga is about Kenji, a boy who can see the red threads of fate in everyone's pinky finger. So far he has noticed that if the string is connected those persons will end up together no matter what, just like it happened to his family in a really bad way.

One day, this thread link finally happens to him, but to his shock, at the other end there's a boy.

So, first by mistake I read Stringing You Along, which is a spin-off of this one. I wouldn't really recommend it unless you are into mature content with no plot what so ever.

This one however is really adorable. It's about unrequited love and finding out who we really are. It's a coming of age story and it's done in a really cute way.

Kenji thinks that people connected by the thread of fate are destined to be together, but it's not that simple. The string only connects people, the rest is up to them. He learns that by failing miserably at some point.

I must say this gets GRAPHIC in the last chapter. Which is something I'm not a big fan of. I prefer the cute blushes and kisses. That is also the reason I'm lowering my rating. But I'm happy it was only in the end.

I really liked the design of the characters. It's the hell-a classic adorable type. Where you are bound to fall for all the boys and girls possible with no regrets.

This was a short review and I would only recommend it if you are into sexual graphic scenes. If you're like me, avoid this one, or at least avoid the last chapter of it, the rest was kinda cute.

Considering how much I enjoyed the spin-offs, Kanawanu Koi no Musubikata and 繋いだ恋の叶え方 Tsunaida Koi no Kanaekata , I knew I needed to pick this one up too.

While this story didn't re-invent the trope of the red string of fate as well as its spin-offs did, I think there was still a great twist. I found it really refreshing that despite Keiji and Hiro being connected by fate, their feelings for each other were decidedly separate from that - as proven with a surprising move towards the end of the story that I was not expecting.

This story was also a bit 'insta-lovey', but considering the plot does involve two characters being connected by the red string of fate, I'm willing to give that a pass.

AHH! THE CUTENESS!

It’s very rare for me to give a manga five stars but I absolutely adored this so much!

This story follows a guy who can see these strings attached to people’s soulmates. He has a crush on this girl when one day a string appears on his finger leading him to a boy.

I don’t know of many mangas that are standalone’s so it’s cool to pick up one. I picked this up on a whim after seeing an ad for it and immediately wanted to read it. This was exactly what I needed to read!

This was so cute! I love fluffy angsty romances like this. The main character rejects his feelings for this boy which causes that angst I enjoy, though he was a bit harsh at times.

The love interest was a precious little puppy dog who just fell in love. I loved him so much. He was such a smol little bean.

Overall if you’re looking for something that’s quick and cute, I highly recommend this. I really immensely enjoyed this!

This was a really cute soulmate/red string of fate story. I picked it up because the cover looked nice and while it lacked a lot of depth, it was a fun read. It tells the story of Keiji who has always been able to see the red string of fate. In this world nobody's thread is connected from the start. The connection is made later in life. One day, while contemplating if his thread will one day connect with this cute girl he likes, he realizes his thread has connected...to a guy?! A new transfer named Hiro who is...cute (for a guy). Insead of taking it, Keiji tries to sever the bond, convinced that their attraction is only due to the thread

I think it's an interesting concept but it still had holes in it. My thing is that since Keiji saw the thread, his feelings feel the most manipulated, even though in the end things work out. But still, a cute read.

Talking about taking me by surprise! I really loved this story and the entire series. Let's break it down.

Keiji is a college student who has a special ability: he can see the red string of fate. This means that he can see the connection between two people who are fated to be together. When he was a young child, he realized that his parents strings weren't connected to each other, and when they divorced, they actually met the people that they were supposed to be with.

Keiji's string is currently not connected to anyone, but he is excited for the day when he will meet the love of his life. He has a crush on a girl friend and has high hopes for their connection. These hopes are dashed when he realizes that his string has connected to a fellow college student...a man! Oh, heaven forbid!

Keiji wants to get rid of the string because he doesn't want to end up with Hiro. However, in trying to discover why their strings are connected and after getting closer with Hiro, Keiji begins to actually develop feelings for him. However, he still decides to seek out someone who can cut the string, hopefully cutting his feelings with them.

I really, really liked this volume. I actually prefer volumes 2 and 3, which focus on the man who cuts the strings, Kamisawa, but this was very enjoyable as well!

I'm already rooting for Hiro and Keiji to get together.
Oh, poor Hiro...... Keiji get your head out of your ass and don't push your man away!
SHHH, Keiji don't fight it. It's called the red string of FATE for a reason.
Hiro didn't want to take advantage of Keiji!! My heart. I love these two.
It's not the string that makes you love that person. It just draws you together but ultimately your choice what you do with those feelings and emotions and whether or not to act on them.
I always love stories that have to do with soulmates because there's so much you can do with it and so much to talk about regarding the philosophy behind soulmates.
This was so lovely I wish we had more content!

I had fun with this. It was a fun romp. Keiji was kind of a dumbass at points, very youthly, but Hiro was just a smol, precious son the entire time. One of my favorite scenes is when Keiji was like, “Do you have time after classes?” and Hiro just perks up because he thinks Keiji will respond to his confession. He is the sweetest thing.

Unfortunately after that Keiji tells him “I can’t be with you” while cutting their red thread of fate, and then he makes Hiro cry. GODDAMMIT KEIJI.

Eh, but since it’s mango, they do have a happy ending because Keiji comes to his senses. But yeah, Hiro is the cutest.
