This book is about a yorkshire terrier who has been brought up on a breading farm where she is treat horribly and been made to have multiple litters of puppies for them to be taken away from her and then have her have another litter of puppies straight after without having a rest. Luckly the breaders get found out and the yorkshire terrier gets her forever home and will become a famous dog. Will she be able to recover from her past though?...
What I liked about this book is that it's a true story and it makes you feel what animals have to go through when there is cruel people in this world not all animals get their forever homes and get treated nicely like they should. What I also liked in this book is that each chapter is a separate stages of what the dog goes through to get a better life. This book made me very sad but also happy that the dog got a second chance at life.
In my opinion, I really enjoyed this book as it makes you realise what animals go through when they are not in the right hands. This book didn't disappoint me at all.
To summarise my review this is a really good book and opens your eyes to the nasty people that are out there. I would defenitly recommend this book but to adults as it's very sensitive but you will need tissues. I have rated this book 5 was a really good read.

This was the first book by this author and my word with in three hours I had read it as so brilliant hooked to it straight away. Makes you think and had tears at times but with a happy part and sad again.
Pickles has been on a puppy farm for part of her life just having babies and when she’s rescued Julie collects her and can she bring her round and can pickles recover from her past and the trauma. Julie is looking for a movie star dog that she can train up and is pickles the person or not.
Well worth more than five stars.

Enthralling story

Rescued from a puppy farm, after years of suffering, Pickles was adopted by an animal trainer. I liked reading about how her life changed as she flourished in her new home. I liked how love, both given and received, enriched Pickle and Jane's lives. This was an emotional rollercoaster that I really loved.

Amazing dog

It always get to me when people mistreat animals. But it amazes me when a person is willing to regime and love one of these animals. With that love comes trust and love from the dog.
It was lovely to read about this beautiful and clever dog and the bond that was formed between them. Absolutely recommend this story to anyone who has a heart.

Start to end didn't put it down. Done in a few hours. Absolutely adorable story. Showing one of the many reasons you should rescue.. So many loving, smart dogs who need saved just like Pickles. A Yorkie has magical powers I'm sure. Any dog lover won't be disappointed by this book

Interesting & emotional to read how little Pickles was rescued and became a movie dog actor. Real page turner, especially now I have my own dog. Read in one sitting.
