Want the most romantic honeymoon experience you can get? I’m your gal. Unfortunately, it isn’t by experience that I know these things. Love doesn’t come easily to an overworked type-A planner who manages romance at the most luxurious resort in the Virgin Islands. I have far too many boxes to check to be checking out anything but forms, schedules, and rose petals. God, the rose petals in this place. For the longest time, my career has been my ultimate dream and completely filled me up. Love was for others who needed a partner in life to get by but not me. I got this on my own. Until a class-A hottie shows up and knocks me off my feet—literally. He’s visiting the island trying to figure out what he’s running from or to. Take a number, mister. We all are. As great as he is, I can’t have kids and I’m honestly unsure of how he might feel about that. First comes love, then marriage, and then babies in the baby carriage. Perhaps I’ll just stick to what I know best—creating romance for others. As much as I thought I knew about forevers, I was completely wrong. This crazy little thing called love has called my bluff.

Talked about being knocked off your feet. You'll love the fourth book in the Business of Love Series. Katie and Peter meet by accident, literally when he accidentally runs into her and knocks her to the ground. This book can be read as a standalone but Katie is featured in a previous book in the series. Life has brought them both to roadblocks in that Peter has reached an exhausted burnt out time after being the caregiver for his ailing father. Katie has been faced with the fact that she'll never be able to bear children because of infertility issues. Fate brings them together for a reason. The chemistry and attraction between them are explosive. Peter is so kind and just what she needed. This is a sweet love story between two good, giving people. A sweet HEA and no cliffhanger. I read a free book and voluntarily chose to review it.
Book four in the series brings Katie and Peter's story. The author brings a heartbreaking story with two people each dealing with loss of their own kind, meeting and falling in love. She adds in drama, romance and humor along with a cast of supporting characters to help bring the story around. It's well written, moves fluidly and is a sweet and entertaining story.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. All opinions in this review are my own and freely given.
Will Their Secrets and Fears Tear Them Apart or Bring Them Closer❤💜💛💚💙
WooHoo!!!! Ali and Weston Parker take us on a journey that starts on St. John and roller coasters to the States and back. Katie is a honeymoon planner at El Cartana with her two best friends, Roman and Ginny, as her assistants. Working with rich clients can be a hassle at times, especially when something simple was a fruit basket us sent to the wrong room. Katie never thought shopping for the perfect fruit at the market would change the course of her life though. Peter his on St. John for a life break, though running away from or running to something is unclear. Construction worker to programmer is quite a change in careers but easier on a shoulder injury. Peter is on the island for the months to figure things out... that is until be literally runs until Katie at the market. A friendship starts when Peter offers Katie a ride back work to save in the time crunch she's under. There's an attraction they're not and to ignore was Katie and Peter ride closer, and the real test comes when Katie takes Peter to a wedding in California to meet her friends and twin brother Jackson, Hook Me Up book 3. Their romance starts in St. John, secrets and fears come out in California. Will their forever come when they go back to St. John?? Katie and Peter are soooo good together!! You'll laugh, cry and swoon during this journey of a Crazy Thing Called Love!! A wedding is a great way to reunite favorite characters and bring into play new ones. Ohhhhhh and W. Parker also makes a visit!! Who will fall in the next story??? Can't wait!! I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book and purchased a copy for my favorites collection.
This is book 4. I would recommend reading the others first just so you know the characters, but you don't have too. Get a few tissues near you, you will need them. This is such a great story that it will easily pull you in and feel like you are there with them. This book touches bas d on infertility and Alzheimer's but an HEA ending. Overview. Katie has worked for the last 4 years at a hotel on St Johns in the Virgin Islands. She a coordinator for honeymooner, most are rush and famous. When something goes wrong, Katie runs to the market to get fruit for the honeymooners and is knocked on her butt by a handsome man. Peter came to the island for change. He had to put his dad in an Alzheimer's home and was healing from a broken collarbone. When he bumped Katie, he was in complete shock. Katie was laughing and cutting jokes with him and made him m forget what was bothering him. So when her asked her on a date she was excited. How had the nerdy guy got a date with this hot girl was lost to him. But the two hit it off and both were very happy with continuing to date. Enough that the two help over come their issues (his dad and the disease and her infertility). But when love knocks you on your butt physically and mentally you go with it.
Katie has resigned herself not to have a family after she found out she was infertile. Love was not in the picture for her, so she put her all into her work and it was going well until she got knocked on her butt literally. Peter was on the island to take a break from his life, especially after caring for his father. When he ran into Katie it wasn’t something he was expecting bit it appeared fate has put these two together, two souls in need of healing. Can they heal each other and take a chance of having a happily ever after? This story touches your heart and have you cheering this couple on towards a lifetime of happiness. I voluntarily agreed to receive an ARC of this book for an honest review.
Awesomeness romantically love story between the two lovers in this story. Man coming to island to get his thoughts in order. Meeting woman who worked on the island at a hotel. Stared having fun with her. Sparks fly with these two people. Needing each other. So amazing to read this story. As always th at the hotel in the island. As always this Author has a challenging and delightful story.
Easy Breezy Peezy is what I think this book is. I love it. I love how they met, got together, and she helped him when he needed it the most. I hate she can't have kids of her own but glad he is willing to adopt with her. I can not wait to see what the next book brings.
Beautiful love story of a Cinderella and the clumsy prince!
Katie and Peter’s story is a beautiful love story. They were able to provide each other with love even though they never felt they’d find it in their lifetime!
Just couldn’t get into this book. Found it hard to keep my attention. Forced myself to finish it. Keep hoping something exciting was going to happen. Sorry, I really tried to love it. Didn’t happen.
Another great book by Ali Parker! The characters in this series seem to become real. They bring you into their lives just like you're one of them. I loved the island setting as well. Now I want to go there. Love how Ali slid W.Parker in there. Haha!
This one brought out some emotions I wasn't expecting. Got those tears flowing for a chapter .. I loved this book and was surprised in some was as to how things went down. Not the usual cookie cutter romance
I enjoyed this story, but I would have loved more on the back end. I’m hoping I’ll see more of book 4 in book 5. Maybe some cross over characters. I feel like they took so long to work out their issues, that I didn’t get enough HEA.
He moves to the island for a change, the second day he knocks an event planner off her feet. It’s the start of a crazy romance that eventually leads to love. Both are wary and their lives are changing but all is the best in the end.
Such a beautiful story. I love these two and how they met. I do hope we hear more about them as I'm not done hearing their story. There is so much more to know. They meet and fall fast and hard in live with each other. Their love will stand the test of time for sure.
Oh I just loved Peter and Katie story!! They had such a instant connection!! They are so good together!! I would recommend this book to everyone!! I just loved it!!
This story is so sweet. I loved Peter and Katie’s story. This is a great romance with a nice hea and no cliffhanger. Very entertaining. This review is based on a complimentary copy from the author
Delightful journey of two people pushed down by life finding love
Katie, a honeymoon coordinator at an exclusive resort, is ran down by Peter, a web developer, when he is at the open market on St. John shopping for groceries on his first day there. As the story progresses they find common ground, expose some secrets about each other, and when the deepest secret of them all comes to light they may not make it forward. Ali Parker’s Crazy Thing Called Love is the delightful journey of two people pushed down by life finding love in the least expected place. I must admit there were a lot of chuckles and some tears shed while reading this book.
I received a free copy of the book from the author. I had the opportunity to review or not.
This is book 4 in the Business of Love series by the best selling author, Ali Parker. It can be read as a standalone but is far better read as a part of the series. In the other books you meet our heroine's, Katie, brother Jackson who is a matchmaker and who finally realised his One true Love in book 3. Katie is a very likeable character who is very hard working her dream job in the Virgin Islands coordinating honeymooners. On this island she meets Peter, our hero, who has a broken collarbone and is on leave from web developing. These two are drawn towards each other as if by invisible strings that they don't want to let go of. Unfortunately, as with everyone's life there are sad circumstances and Katie is there for Peter when he needs her. There is a rhythm between these two that just drew me into their 'world' and I wasn't disappointed. I loved the way Katie kept chatting to an author called Mr W. Parker [as did characters in previous books or they read his stories] as I would love to know just who inspires his books too! I was so pleased that Peter and Mike's relationship was growing and that a future with possibilities were there for them! A delightful read. I had heard about Katie so much in the previous books that it was almost like 'meeting' an old friend. I received a reader's copy of this book and voluntarily leave my honest opinion of it here. Most definitely recommended.
4 stars I received a free copy of the steamy novel Crazy Thing Called Love: Business of Love series book 4:Katie and Peter Entertaining with vivid picturesque descriptions, unfiltered speech and a wonderful description of the diverse and at times flamboyant characters that can be found on a small resort island are combined with an attraction at first sight romance with an accident prone couple who are at times sexually aggressive and, a good update on the series other couples. After the stress of years taking care of his father who has Alzheimer's, being ignored by his self-centered brother and the demands of his Los Angeles web designer job, Peter Stenley takes his three month dream vacation in the small resort island of ST John in the Virgin Islands where he finds himself renovating his dilapidated rental cabin, enjoying the slow paced life of the island, and becoming mesmerized by Hotel El Cartana's Honeymoon planner Katie Smithe. The story begins just before Katie must travel to New York for her matchmaker twin brother Jackson and his wife Hailey's baby shower and, expresses the grief Katie tries to hide regarding her infertility. 18+ Contains unfiltered speech, physically challenged alcohol involved scenes, and intense intimate scenes.
Peter is a web developer and is burned out so he decided to go to St John's Island for a much needed break and to decide what he wanted out of live. Katie works at The Hotel EL Cartana on St John's Island, she works so hard as she loves her job but she was so lonely and would love to share it with someone but it seems like it is not in the cards for her. When Peter and Katie meet at the market he knocks her over and that changes there future. Katie and Peter realise that they have a connection and chemistry that is so strong but will they act on it as they both have so much going on in there lives. Omg I loved this book so much and it was emotional in certain places. Peter and Katie were great characters and Katies friends make you laugh with there antidotes and the things that they come out with. Ali Parker is an amazing author and writer and I definitely recommend you read this book, series and other books by her and you will definitely not be disappointed. I Voluntarily Reviewed an ARC Copy of this book.
This book will blow your mind. So utterly charming.
Charming love story. Peter is just so cute. He is everything Katie has ever wanted in a man, considerate, loving, witty, and understands her like no man ever has before. This love story is so fantastic. You just want to gobble both of them up from there sweetness. Peter, Who has been taken care of of his ailing father for years, takes a three month vacation and meets Katie. Actually he knocks her down and I think just that one look between the two of them sealed their fates. They are perfect for each other. They would be together forever.in the street. Katie thinks Peter is the most gorgeous hunk of a man she has ever met, and Peter thinks he is totally out of Katie‘s league because she is so beautiful. But their match was definitely made in heaven.Their attraction is instant, contagious and heartwarming and everyone around them can see it. Such an excellent, excellent book.
This is a lovely continuation in the standalone series “Business of Love”. Katie lives and works as the wedding planner at an upscale resort on an island in the Caribbean 🌴. While she’s in town one day, she “runs” into Peter who has come to the island for a few months to rewind. At this moment, they each meet the person they were meant to spend their life with. Each needs the other to heal issues they are dealing with. I loved this book from the first paragraph to the last word! We met Katie in the last book.. she is Jackson’s twin and I was anxious to learn more about her .. and we found out that her favorite guest at the hotel is a W Parker, a writer. We’ll have to find out who this wonderful author is! (😂🤣😅). Ali Parker knocks this book out of the park! I’d give it more than 5 stars if I could. Don’t miss it.
Take a work-obsessed hotel employee and a burned-out web developer who needs a break, make the setting the romantic St John's Island and you have the basic ingredients for this emotional, thought-provoking story.
Katie works at The Hotel EL Cortana on St John's Island, work has always been enough for her until now, she'd given up on finding love as she can't have children that is until Peter knocked her off her feet, no he really did knock her off her feet, one day in the market.
Katie and Peter have an immediate connection and some palpable chemistry, will they act on it? They both have issues but they seem perfect for each other but will they realise that?
I enjoyed their story so much it was emotional in places and funny in others. Peter and Katie are such great characters you can't help but be feel invested in the outcome, will they find a HEA together?
Katie is a romantic at heat. Peter is looking for some downtime and peace. When Katie is knocked off her feet literally by Peter, they didn't realize that this is the moment that will change their life. But Katie has something that she will need to tell Peter that may change their chance of happily ever after. And Peter has his father who is in a nursing home that is not doing well. But their attraction is more then both of their secrets. I love they way they get along, that they are there for each other, that they are solid. This is a great love story and not one where the breakup because there is a misunderstanding. That is getting old. This is just a great getting to know each other, finding more that they love about each other, and even though there are thing they need to tell each other....well you will have to read it to find out. And well worth the read. Ciao
This was a beautifully well written heartwarming story that will have readers in tears yet laughing and falling in love with these wonderful characters. Katie is a workaholic who doesn’t have time for love yet has a heart of gold. Peter is a clumsy man and is humble to a fault. Their chemistry is instantaneous and off the charts yet the secrets especially Katie’s are so heartbreaking and makes them relatable to readers that I couldn’t help but cry. Crazy Thing Called Loved is a captivating must read that will make readers laugh and cry and the romance and passion between Katie and Peter is swoon worthy. I loved this new book in the Business of Love series from Ali Parker. “I voluntarily reviewed an ARC copy of this novel.”
