Trapped In His Heart
Nandi and Azrael are from two different worlds. Growing up in the suburbs, Nandi isn’t the typical spoiled brat. Opinionated and willing to say whatever comes to mind, Nandi has come a long way from the loud, rambunctious young woman she was when her and Azrael met back in the day. After life separates them, it seems as if fate has brought them back together. However, a love like theirs doesn’t come without a fight. Do they have what it takes? When Azrael first went away for a bid, he decided to let Nandi be free so she wouldn’t be tied down to weekly visits and endless jail talk. Now a free man, Azrael has changed his ways and he wants his woman back, plain and simple. But things are easier said than done and now back home, Azrael discovers that Nandi is now engaged to a new man and the choice isn’t really up to her. Will he do whatever necessary to protect his soulmate? Or will the laws of the game take them both down under?

That was amazing. I wish I could curse right now cause Nandi girl what is you doing? I mean the man asked if you trusted him and you kept saying yes. Why not just trust that everything would’ve been ok. UGH

I so enjoyed this book. Nandi is faced with the ultimate dilemma, her fiancé is the stepfather of her ex..that she’s still in love with. The scandal and betrayal is real and I was here for it!! This book had me questioning my morals because I know it wasn’t right for Nandi and Azreal to be creeping but I want them together!! Cliff is a terrible person and he has a hand problem and I want him out of the picture, ASAP! In the midst of the craziness, Nandi is in a custody battle with her parents. I felt bad for Nandi because in her parent’s eyes, she could do nothing right. I can tell she loved her daughter; I hate Nandi’s mother-that woman is evil. 😑We are also introduced to Solstice and Juice in the book. I so loved these two; both are afraid of love but they’re so good for each other. Juice’s rude tail is definitely a big teddy bear and he’s not just a hood dude-he’s very intelligent and putty for Sol. I was wondering when Azreal and Nandi would be outed..I am waiting for part two because I hope that Nandi didn’t just throw away her livelihood for Cliff’s old behind.. lol! Good read with good drama and even better characters. I loved it!!! Until part 2!

Provoking
Part 1 is really good and has my emotions on edge. I like Nandi and her past with Azrael was cool / unique. I hate the situation she is stuck in. It really seems unlikely that someone who is so tough and outgoing would cower under Cliff and her mom. I get that she wants custody of Nova. I don’t fully understand why she didn’t have it to begin with and who I am curious about the BD and the wife. I have extreme hate for her mom and brother. I really can’t wait for the next part and want to see karma come their way.

This was really good. Nandi and Azeal love was so sweet, it made you want the best for them and that included Nova. Sol and Juice will have you laughing and crying. They just have to step outside themselves and trust the process. Erin is one coldhearted bitch! I want to know what's her issue with her daughter she needs to be pushed in front of a bus!! I think her and Cliff are setting Azeal and Juice up with the help of Ayla. Ayla has been too quiet and i think she put in too much time to get Azeal to just leave him alone with no problems. Can't wait for book 2!

My gawd!
Man Neyrey really got us with this one! I loved how different the story was, from the characters personalities down to their professions. Nandi is my favorite Neyrey female lead even though we low-key beefing. Azrael is a BOSS and bae and I loved his alpha attitude and demeanor! Solstice and Juice kept me laughing! But let me tell about the SEX! The scenes were so steamy that they had me running to the author's inbox. I can't wait for the next banger!

That “To Be Continued” took me out!! I feel so bad for Nandi and the situation that she is in. I just wished that she would trust A a little more! Because the love he has for her is so real and he wants what’s best for her! I hope part 2 reveals all of the secrets. And they both and move forward with loving on each other!!

What in the whole world 🌎is going on? I don't trust mother at all at think she is dirty...Poor Nmi,everything is going left for her and is trying to do better. I hope she gets a better fight in book2. I wanna Sol and Juice to get it right too and I hope that she gets what they said she couldn't have. I loved the friendships and hope book2 is just as good.

Tragic
This book was awesome but sad at the same time. Its crazy how family can be your worse enemies when they suppose to always have your back. I was really rooting for Nandi and AZ. Something should be done to change how things turned out really hope they can get their happy ending. They both deserve to be happy and with each other.

I must say Nandi is so lost and confused, she got on my nerves. I'm having mixed feelings if Azrael should continue to be there for Nandi. I can't stand Erin and Cliff. After that ending,I can't wait to see what happens next. Good job Neyrey.

I cannot believe this book ended like this. I hope the office does not take a long time for part two cuz I am now hanging on the edge of my seat anticipating what's to come next. I absolutely loved these characters both couples were awesome and now I have to wait.
