Critical Thinking: The 2 in 1 Guide to Deductive Reasoning, Logic, Intelligence, and Skepticism

Rate this book
This bundle consists of 2 books, that are both related to the same general topic. The following contexts are provided in these Title 1: In this guide about critical thinking skills, the author starts out by explaining what critical thinking is, and where it came from. She then quickly proceeds to name some important critical thinking traits, such as inductive and deductive reasoning (some of the best-known ones), skepticism, and analytical skills. So what are the uses of these skills? How do they contradict our emotions? And how can we become more intelligent human beings by applying them? Rational thinking has become a more embraced concept, but if this is true, is there also room for intuition? These are some of the questions that will be answered here. The author will also show how biases and presumptions based on past experiences get in our way of attributing the right consequences to the right causes, and which arguments are valid in which kinds of circumstances. Title 2: Are you an intellectual or an emotional drama queen? Have you mastered the art of taking a step back and looking at things from a different point of view? In this book, standards, morals, and critical thinking skills will be questioned, examined, and studied. You’ll become more familiar with the idea itself, become a sensible person in the more complete sense, and learn what it takes to become more emotionally mature. These topics and many other related sub-topics will be addressed by the author, who has some serious studies herself.

The 5 stars really should be 6 stars. Yes, that's right. You heard me well. I believe it's so great that it is worthy of 6 stars. I enjoyed this particular subject matter, so I picked up this book. I have actually seen that some books are basically trash, and that grieves me. On the other hand this book didn't follow that trend. It's actually really great. So, I love it.
