He can’t let her go.

Honey wants two things. To supply produce to the local pantry and for me, David Cantal to ask her out.

She is overalls, sunshine and freckles. I’m big, gruff, rough around the edges and I don’t know the first thing about women that are sweet and way too good for me.

We’re as different as night and day and that’s all anyone wants to talk about. So I plan to stay away from her, no matter how tempting she is.

But when she calls me in the middle of the night, asking for my help, I can’t tell her no. I go to her but she has plans to take more than just my help… she also wants my heart.

Cherry Falls is filled with returning characters and iconic destinations that will begin to feel like family. When you leave the city and drive into Cherry Falls, it’s like you’ve finally come home.

The cherry on top? Each book delivers a swoon-worthy, sexy romance!
So welcome to Cherry Falls, we hope you stay awhile!

"105 Desire Dr." is the story of Honey and David.

A very sweet romance between an older biker hero, and a young, smitten heroine. He thinks hes too inappropriate for her and tries to push her away, the heroine disagrees and pursues him. They eventually give into their feelings, and find their HEA.

I really enjoyed it especially the small parallel between the parents and the hero/ heroine. Cannot wait to read Ginger's story!

Honey and David have a big age gap between them she is 24 to his 38 but that doesn't stop Honey from going after him. She is sassy and funny and he is a divorced man, brooding and lonely. He thinks she is too good for him but the more he gets to know her, the more he likes her. Walking away from her will not be easy. Can he settle down in a place like Cherry Falls?

Loved the possessive jealous hero and the sweet heroine. No virgins here. No cheating. Sadly no epilogue with pregnancy or kids which brought my rating down!

Created by Hope Ford and Frankie Love, the Cherry Falls Romance Series is a massive multi-author series set in beautiful (but fictitious) small town Cherry Falls. After reading Hope Ford's brilliant kick off to the series - 105 Desire Dr - I'm already in love with the small town. Hope Ford wonderfully set the stage for this series with an engaging first taste. Honey and David are both awesome characters, who together have chemistry explosive enough to melt your Kindle. Between their slightly forbidden older man-younger woman dynamic; David's swoon-worthy don't-want-to-hurt-her-but-cannot-stay-away-ness (so swoon-y I'm making up words); and Honey's sass and authentic vulnerability, this is one of those reads you cannot put down yet are devastated when you reach the end (even though it's way past your bedtime).

My favourite Hope Ford book to date, and my anticipation for this series has just sky-rocketed to an eleven.

This series came up on my discover page on Kindle and I figured I’d give it a shot since it appears to be a series with ~39 novellas.

Ultimately, this book suffered from lack of plot, insta-love, lack of character development, and quick changing POVs that felt stilted.

I didn’t buy into the relationship that blossomed after they talked for two minutes randomly. Did they ever go below surface level? Did they have anything in common?

I would say this is just an excuse for smut but, it wasn’t even spicy? I think there was one steamy scene.

recensione a cura del blog "libri magnetici" by Meghan

And here we are, at an absolute preview for Italian readers, dear Magnetici, and welcome to Cherry Falls, a small and pretty seaside town with many different stories starting from January 2021. Let's start with David and Honey, two different and simple characters at the same time and that you will like precisely for this absolute simplicity. She works on the family farm, she is the classic simple girl and without particular pretensions: David is very very older than her in a personal and physical sense, he has a former marriage finished behind him and he does not stop in the same place for a very long time. The encounter between them is a lightning strike, simple, direct, natural for both of us.

«But I have not been able to think of anything or anyone else. He’s been on my mind nonstop. He’s not like any man I’ve met before. His long blond hair, big body and – gosh – I get goose bumps just thinking his tattoos. He’s all I’ve though about since I saw him the other day, and from the look of things, I ‘m not going to be forgetting him anytime soon.»

But while Honey immediately lives him for who he is and she is willing to accept everything he can give her, David is afraid to hurt her. This giant, a kind of good bear, is tender in his feelings towards Honey and we like him, as he eventually capitulates accepting his flaws and choosing to share his future with her.

«” But I do know. I’m not perfect, Honey. I’m going to fuck up. But I love you and I know that I’ll never leave you. We may have to travel sometimes if this small town starts to get to me, but I won’t go unless you are with me. I want us.”»

It is a mild, pleasant story, without trauma or twists; David and Honey are very nice and the reading slips away pleasantly. If you also want to get closer to reading in foreign language, this is the book for you, also from a linguistic point of view.
Four petals and see you at the next "road" (as entitled "the road of 105 ").

It was cute enough for a short story. It didn’t pull me in as much as I would’ve liked though.

David is 38 and a big motorcycle driving dude with tattoos, long hair and a beard. Honey is 24, blonde and innocent-looking. He thinks he doesn’t deserve her and isn’t good enough, plus he’s also kinda messed up from his ex-wife who cheated on him. He’s been traveling from place to place ever since.

Honey wants David but it takes awhile for him to give in. Luckily she is just persistent enough to wear him down.

The epilogue ends with an intro to Honey’s sister Ginger’s story and her seducing the tattoo artist, Ozzie.

It was a cute intro to the Cherry Falls series and I am going to work my way through all of the books. I love a series written by different authors. Maybe we’ll see a bit more of David and Honey later on.

It was okay 2.5

Honey and her sister work a produce stand at the edge of their family farm in Cherry Falls. On a run to a food pantry in town she meets David. He left Cherry Falls years ago and has recently returned.

Even though he’s instantly attracted to her, he decides he needs to stay away from her. This is pretty much the way the story goes. Honey can’t stop thinking about him and since he isn’t acting quick enough for her, she basically does the chasing.

David may have had his reasons for trying to stay away from Honey, but he just went back and forth too much and Honey was too accepting of the fact he may just take off one day.

Love love love love.

I'm not exactly sure what it was about this story, but I loved it. Older guy/younger girl, farm girl, biker guy, guy that doesn't want to settle down in one place. It had it all and I loved every minute of this short story.

WOW!! I couldn't put this one down. I absolutely love it!! This was a nice quick, short read.

David meets Honey when he takes some food to the local pantry and she is also there giving food from. her families farm. David notices a lot of people in Cherry Falls avoid him, but not Honey. David and Honey talk and she asks him where he works, he tells her the Virgin Street Diner. Honey tells him she works for her families farm and she like to supply the pantry with their leftovers. For the rest of the day David thinks about Honey and Honey thinks about David. When the diner gets their shipment of produce the owner can't use most of it, she wants to change suppliers so David suggest she get it from the Rosewood produce stand. His boss thinks that a great idea so she sends him to pick out the produce. After David arrives, Honey's sister Ginger starts to help him but she tells her she'll take over, she shows David around and finds out what he needs. The next day David is driving to work when he sees Honey's truck at the pantry, he has time so he stops to help her. When he goes to leave she wants to know why he won't asks her out, he's clearing interested and she tells him she's interested in him. David tells her he's not going to asks her out, he doesn't have anything to offer her plus he's to old. So Honey tells him she'll do the inviting and ask him if he'd like to grab a slice of pie at the dinner since he's has time. As they sit at the diner David can see everyone looking at them, he doesn't like it. As they sit and talk Honey tells him she doesn't care what other people think of her sitting with him and enjoying a slice of pie. Honey finds out that David grew up in Cherry Falls, but he left shortly after his parents passed away. He was married, but is divorced now, he has a brother and a sister who he helped raised and they run the Cherrywood Lumber and Hardware store. David asks her how old she is then she asks him how old he is, he tells her see he's too old for her. She tells him he's fourteen years older than her, her dad is fourteen years older than her mom, so her parents won't have a problem with them dating. David still doesn't thinks it's a good idea for them to date, he doesn't know when he'll be leaving town, he doesn't like to stay in one place very long. Honey leans forward and grabs David's phone, she tells him she wants him phone number but she'll just put hers in his. Then she realizes it has a passcode so he gives it to her. David walks Honey to her truck but before she gets in to leave she gives him a kiss, a kiss that makes her toes curl, and her mind blur. After work David goes back to his apartment and cleans, all day long he thought about Honey. Honey can't go to sleep that night, she is hoping David calls or sends her a text, but he doesn't. David shows up at the produce stand to tell Honey that nothing can happen between them, but when he gets to her his kisses her. She's alone at the stand and they start talking. She gets a customer and she ask him to wait, but when he sees the customer flirting with her he leaves. Later Honey calls David and asks him if he'll come over and help her fix a tractor that is broken down. He knows he shouldn't do it but he can't tell her no, when he looks at the tractor he can tell that Honey pulled some wires. After he fixes it she tells him she missed him, he asks her if she's going out with that guy that was at the produce stand today. She tells him if he would have stuck around she could have shown him who she wanted. David tells her he can't stand around and watch other guys flirt with her. Honey tells him she like him, David tells her he likes her too, but that's the problem. David tells her he doesn't stay in one place to long, he doesn't want this to be a one night stand for her. Honey ask him why don't they see where things go and if he decides to leave he can just let her know. So David asks her if she's free tomorrow night he's got an early shift at the diner. She tells him she'd love to go on a date with him but then asks him for a kiss. The next night Honey waits at there parents for David she forgot to tell him she doesn't live in the main house. Her parents are waiting with her and she tells them that David is older and has tattoos. Honey ask her dad to be nice, then when David pulls up he introduces himself. David puts on Honey's helmet and her dad tells him to drive safe and take care of her, David tells him with his life. David drives to Kissme Bay, he tells Honey he planned a picnic and hopes that's alright. Honey tells him it's perfect, he leads her to a secluded spot and spreads out the blanket. They talk as they eat their sandwiches David tells Honey she can asks him any questions he wants. David tells her he wants to kiss her, she tells him she'd like that. Honey climbs into his lap and they deepen the kiss. David knows that have to stop so he asks her to dance she ask him here. He tells her if she doesn't get off his lap he can't promise what'll happen next, she tells him she doesn't care. He tells her he wants her to but not like this. Honey talks David into helping at the pantry, she's there with her mom and sister leading a hand. When David comes over and asks Honey if she needs any help, her mom tells him they've got this then both can head home. Honey asks David if he'll go with her to get her first tattoo, he tells her he'll go only if his guy does her tattoo. Honey agrees so they he into the Cherry Bomb, she gets a honey bee on the side of her ribs. David holds her hand the whole time, when the guys if done he tells them he'll give them a minute. When they're alone David tells her he wants to taste her then strips off her shorts, then pleasures her. When they leave the tattoo shop Honey is in a daze from her orgasm, she didn't even realizes David paid for her tattoo. David drops off Honey at the produce stand then heads to the hardware store. His sister Millie is just leaving, so he goes inside to talk to his brother, Reuben. The next day they plan to have movie night with Honey's sister Ginger and her date. Honey tells her sister she wants to be alone with David and cancels. David tells Honey they need to talk, he tells her he is staying in Cherry Falls, even though he's staying she has a choice, if she's not sure about them or if she want to slow things down she needs to tell him. Honey climbs onto his lap and straddles him, she pulls her dress off, she tells him she's wanted him since the first time she saw him. She know he still isn't sure about them or their future, but she is and she'll take him any way she can until he figures it out. David tells her he loves her and he knows he going to mess up, but he knows he'll never leave her. They may have to do some traveling but he wants them. They begin kissing and it goes from timid to hot, Honey goes to her knees on the floor, he tells her she doesn't have to do this. She tells him she wants to she wants him. He pulls her up and she asks him what she did wrong he tells her nothing, he needs to be inside her. They make love, David thought he could leave but he can't she his and he's hers. They wake up in each others arms, Honey moves and he tells her if she doesn't that again he won't be responsible for his actions. Honey asks him again there's not way, he tells her with her there's always a way, besides he needs to catch up he been like this since he first seen her. Honey asks him to promise her if he ever wants to leave to tell her, even though her family, her farm, her business is here in Cherry Falls, but if he leaves she goes with him. David tells her he's not going anywhere, he turnd his notice in to the diner, he talked to his brother and he's going to take over the lumber yard. Not going to settle for anyone who is less than extraordinary
This book is the first in a new series set in Cherry Falls – sounds idyllic! 105 Desire Drive is about Honey and David. Honey helps her dad out on their farm, and frequently takes produce to the local community’s food pantry. Her dad worries that she works too much and should be settling down with a nice guy, but is too picky. But she assures him that she just hasn’t yet found ‘the one’.
And David works at a diner, and asks his boss where he can take the food she’s about to throw out. He knows what it’s like to go hungry, and therefore doesn’t like to see food go to complete waste. She directs him to the local food pantry. As he walks there, people avoid him, and he’s convinced they don’t remember who he is. He left years ago and recently returned to the small town on his motorbike, and yes he’s a big bloke, with long hair and is all tatted up.
This is where Honey and David meet. There’s an instant, mutual attraction, but he thinks he’s not deserving of her. She’s headstrong and confident and sassy, knowing what she wants, and not caring too much about what others might think of the possibility of them together. He’s hesitant to pursue her, but she’s relentless and upfront with him. When he finally asks her out, they discover some deep feelings and an attachment that will hurt if and when he leaves town.
The story is incredibly sweet and downright steamy. There are some nice surprises along the way. And that ending… the second epilogue… I CANNOT WAIT to see what happens in ‘427 First Avenue’ with Ginger and Ozzie… Which also means we’ll learn more about what’s going on with Honey and David too! YAY!!! I give this book four and a half peachy stars.

The couple: David and Honey

Romance genre: insta-love; opposites attract
Series: Cherry Falls Romance
Length: 112 pages

Plot: David is a nomad, traveling around the country on his motorcycle, free as a bird. He stops into Cherry Falls where his siblings live, and takes a job for a short time, intending to move on as he normally does. But then he meets Honey - the much younger, oh-so-happy Honey. They're day and night, and he wants her. But he's afraid to break her heart when he eventually leaves. Can she convince him they could be more than he imagines?

Commentary: He kept saying, "No I can't start something with her. I could leave at any time." I mean, anyone could leave at any time. He kept saying that as if he had no control over his own actions. It was a little annoying. I honestly don't know how Honey just powered through that. I would have snapped and said, "fine, go then." But that's why I'm not a character in a book (I should be so lucky!). I couldn't quite figure out why David was so intent on wandering around - his wife cheating on him? Seems like an extreme reaction. Honey was a little less annoying, but not by much - I obviously did;t really connect with these characters. It's fine though - it was a quick read.

Next book in the series: 112 Bliss Blvd.

David has been a loner and a drifter for sometime now. He just returned to his hometown to spend some time with his family but lots of townspeople don't recognize him. They are leery of the the big stranger on the motorcycle with all the tatoos. They see him as the bad boy and not the man with the caring heart. At his diner job, he suggests to his boss they should donate the day old food supplies to the food pantry. She send him to the pantry where he meet a beautiful young woman named Honey. David is very attracted to her but he feels like she deserves a better man who won't go off and leave her when boredom sets in.

Honey has been facing pressure from her parents to find a man she could love. The problem is she wants a bad boy with a heart of gold and they aren't found in her town. Then she meets David who is just the type of man she has been looking for. He may look like a bad boy and he may be 14 years older than her but he is perfect for her. Now she just has to convince him.

Hope is such a talented author and she brings stories to life. David is a bad boy with a huge sweet heart. He looks like he wouldn't be with his stature and his tattoos along with the bike that he rides. Honey is a sweet innocent girl from his small hometown. David returns home from being on his nomad lifestyle for years. People do not even recognize him as he rides into two. Honey's parents want her with a man so she can find love and be happy. But the type of man Honey is interested in just isn't found in a small town like hers. That is until she meets David and she wants him. David is older than Honey by 14 years. David would love something with Honey but he does not think he is the man for her since he has a past and she is so innocent he feels. Honey knows David is exactly what she wants and she will do anything to make him realize that they are meant to be together. Can she convince David of this? Or will David keep her at arms length.

Great start to an Epic series!

I’ve been excited about starting the Cherry Falls series for what seems like eons. The series creators have been doing an excellent job keeping fans on the hook and setting us up for an epic series. This first book doesn’t disappoint.

You can’t help falling in love with both David and Honey. David’s a wanderer, native to Cherry Falls, but life experience has put wanderlust in his heart. Honey, has a lot less life experience but one look at the hot, older David and you’d never know it. She knows who she wants and no one, including David, is going to get in her way.

These two are super sweet together. It’s nice to walk with them as they figure out life together. Honey is willing to take whatever David is able to give her, no matter the cost to her heart. David fears the cost will be his heart, if he’s not able to keep Honey forever.

I highly recommend this book and I’m looking forward to the rest of the series. If you haven’t already, check Cherry Falls FB page out. It’s loads of fun!

Honey and her family own a farm and produce stand in Cherry Falls, she’s happy with her life, but her parents are pushing for her to find a nice man to settle down with. So far she hasn’t found anyone who interests her, until she sees David while delivering extra produce to the food pantry in town. He is a native of Cherry Falls, but has been gone a long time, he returned to see his family. He is an older man who has tattoos and long hair, but he really does it for Honey. Both are attracted to each other, but David fights it because of his age, 14 years older, and his appearance. He worries people will think badly of Honey if she dates him. But she wears him down and they have a cute first date. He’s been lost for a while since his divorce, his wife cheating on him really messed with him. He worries he will have to leave and what that would do to Honey. But a nice heart to heart with his brother sets him right and both of them confess their love. Cute epilogues, one with Honey telling David she understands if he needs to leave town, she will just be coming with him and one with Honey’s sister Ginger finding her guy, David’s tattoo artist friend.

Brilliant

Fantastic first book of the series. David has come back to cherry falls after being away for a few years Honey owns the produce stand but also delivers to the pantry anything to give back to the people who are struggling. David sees Honey there but then realises he is too old for her. Honey gets brave with David since he doesn’t seem to be asking so she asks him for a date they go to the diner and have pie. David is worried about Honey’s reputation after seeing her with him but she isn’t bothered.
Honey will get anytime she can with David as he keeps telling her he is a flight risk but she can’t see him going anywhere. David talks to his brother and actually admits he loves her and can’t see him going anywhere so when he goes to Honey’s that evening he tells her all she asks for is that if he ever feels like he needs to leave then she goes with him and that she loves him too.

Honey's father is pushing her to get married, to have the happy life that he's found with her mother. But she hasn't found "the one" yet. Until David shows up. He just moved back to Cherry Falls, working as a line cook at the diner, but not planning to stay in town for long. Until he meets her. They're opposites, but have terrific chemistry together, and she's all in, for as long as it lasts. He has concerns - his inability to commit to stay any where for long, and he's so much older than Honey. I like her a lot - cute and flirty, she's not afraid to put herself out there and go after what she wants. He's a great guy, but I wanted to smack just once for even thinking about giving up before they really get started. It's a nice book - a sexy story with a happy ending.

Honey and David were super super together. I loved how sassy and straightforward Honey can be when she wants something (or someone). David has a hurtful past and doesn't believe that he is good enough for the sweet Honey. I loved the connection and the chemistry between these two. David tries to fight his feelings but he doesn't get to far with it since Honey has set her mind on him being her "One". There is a little bit of drama with David being hot and cold on Honey but she is willing to fight to get her man. I thought that this was a sweet book with come great comedy thrown in. I loved the little bit we got of Ginger, Honey's little sister, and I can't wait for her book! I would highly recommend this book and I can't wait to what happens in Cherry Falls next!

David is a loner who has been traveling around on his motorcycle, but he decides to return home to visit his family. First of all, he's really changed so his home town didn't recognize him at all, making them nervous around him, all but Honey. She's a girl filled with sunshine and has set her sights on David because she instantly knows that they're supposed to be together. Now, David really is a sweet man, so the push & pull in the story becomes the fact that he only wants what's best for her so he sees the age difference as a thing but little does he know he stands no chance! This story was a delightful escape from the heaviness of life and now I'm ready for more because I would rather be in Cherry Falls at this time! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Getting stuck after the first taste of her homey

105 Desire Dr. by Hope Ford is the first book in the multi-author A Cherry Falls Romance series. Make sure you check out the Cherry Falls website also at https://cherryfallsromance.com as it has all sorts of extras for this series.
This story is a lovely and sweet romance between David and Honey. David is a bad boy who has come back to town to visit his brother and sister. Honey is exactly like her name, sweet, bright and smooth. When Honey sees David she knows they are meant to be together. David is older and is determined to stay away from the beautiful young woman. But he never stood a chance one he has a taste of her honey.

I received a copy of this book and am leaving my honest review. My opinions are all my own.

David looks like a tough biker guy but he has his insecurities. Honey can be shy but she knows what she wants in a man. David is it for her. Now if she can just get him to believe that. Will he miss his chance at happiness? This short story is a romantic insta-love that holds your attention until the end. It's refreshing to see a sweet female lead that's so honest about her interest! There is humor, longing, acceptance, passion and pie - sweet moments and sensual interludes in this romance! I look forward to the other stand-alone stories in this collection based in the town of Cherry Falls - it looks like the next story featuring Hope's sister, Ginger, will be spicy, too!

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This is the 1st first novella in the Cherry Falls series created by Hope Ford and Frankie Love. This book focuses on Honey and David. This is an age gap trope and let's just say that doesn't stop them from discovering their a perfect fit. David tries to resist at first but Honey lets him know in no uncertain terms that she's not letting him go that easily.

This was cute, fun, and fast read. After reading this first book, I'm looking forward to the rest of the series and getting to know the rest of the characters in town. The series is a set of stand-alone novellas with interconnected characters - we'll see characters returning in later books. And with a new book from the series being released each week you won't have to wait long to get your next "fix" of Cherry Falls.

Hope Ford has been one of my must read authors for some time now and this book only adds to that distinction. Ms. Ford has a way of drawing her readers into her books with her amazing storytelling and world building, and that's not always with a short story. Her characters are so delightful that you can't help cheer for their happily ever after. David and Honey's story is one of finding your soul mate but not thinking that you deserve or could have them. This story has everything that you could want: comedy, drama and of course hot romance (it is a Hope Ford book after all!). You really don't want to miss this gem of a book that is the 1st book in the A Cherry Falls Romance series and I can't wait for more!
