Sexiness and Depravity - all in one lovely package - Yay!
Okay this is a long review AND there are spoilers so if you don't want them, stop here and just know that in book 3, James continues to bring the sexy and also lays the groundwork for a suspenseful story of villainy that will arouse you as it intrigues you! So go get your copy ASAP!!

Well book 3 is done and the sexiness has stayed high but now more of the depravity and evil is coming out in the open. God help Nate and Emma!
So it's the next day, picking up from the end of Book 2 (Enticed) and Emma's waking up, dealing with both her arousal thinking of what happened at dinner (and what almost did!) and how guilty she feels too. And her feelings/desires as a denial junky to be denied in place of Nate, like Danielle and Liz are.
The sexy encounters in this book were HOT!! The morning bondage and dick inspection of Kyle by Mené was over the top and the dildo practicing while he was helplessly chained to the wall?? God did that revved me up!! The encounters with Kyle and Katie and Mené, especially the strip tease and the blowjob!?! Wow!
In addition to the sexy scenes, this book also starts to expose the hidden evil and depravity of this whole arrangement. You got hints in book 1 with how Catherine would focus her attention on Emma and ignore or be dismissive of Nate and in book 2 with Catherine's reaction when Nate said goodnight, and how Enticed ended with the torture of Danielle and of Liz, but Book 3 really starts to expose her as not just a sadistic dominant but as someone who really is evil (motives still obscure) and sees everyone else as dolls/puppets to direct (see the scene with Emma and Mené and the Doll room!). The games she played with Nate and Emma by having Rex search out and retrieve *all* the sex toys in their house and bring them back to the mansion and offer to replace them with a brand new set, including both the dildo molded from Nate's penis and then one based on Rex's massive member and the subtle wordplay/denigration of Nate? Whoo! Then the whole offer to destroy all their underwear and replace them with a wardrobe full of high end replacements for £2000 if they agree to it sight unseen or £1000 if they checked first and then for Nate and Emma to discover afterwards that Emma gets lovely lingerie and Nate gets frilly panties and that they *agreed* to wear just these for the entire year? Evil! The games Catherine plays with the contract terms also shows how she really feels about this couple, especially Nate.
The depravity also appears in what we find out from Katie and Kyle about just how deep Fiona has her claws into both of them! And Katie's reaction to Emma's translation of ‘Voulez-vous coucher avec moi?’ thinking Emma was asking her to have sex with her and Nate (then and there, and that that's happened before between her, Fiona and Kyle.... wow). And Kyle's kinda creepy fixation on Emma, even ignoring Katie, points to some potentially disturbing "training" being pushed on him by Fiona. The sudden verbal attack by Fiona as everyone is leaving further emphasizes that something wicked and evil is at play below the surface. That this whole Chastity WAG group of Catherine's has a much deeper meaning, contrary to initial appearances.
Another such scene that stands out (besides the doll collection!) is the talk in the car between Rex and Emma. Catherine isn't there in person but you can clearly see her hand in the set up. This talk follows the piercing session for Nate. Which was done by his ex-girlfriend no less, who was especially selected for the job by Catherine (who hints at some disturbing info about Catherine that she doesn't elaborate on, dammit!). And she's also the one who pierced Rex and she lets Emma know just how amazing sex with a man with large cock can be, fanning the flames inside Emma. Emma is already fascinated with the idea of sex with a guy with a huge dick (see her hidden dildo collection and her reaction to the large Rex-based dildo!) and her reaction in the car that at some point she might get to see (and maybe do more!) with an unlocked Rex really tees up Catherine's efforts to take control of Emma through pleasure and at the same time perhaps diminish Nate in Emma's eyes. For what ultimate endgame? Who knows?
Overall I found this to be a worthy addition to the series, with well written characters and hot and sexy scenes throughout. The story flows very well and I'm really looking forward to volumes 4-9 in the future. The only things I don't like is how naive Nat and Emma are portrayed in book 3, given both the events in books 1 and 2, and what happened with the lingerie and sex toys (not to mention the unpleasant bill of sale they got once they got back home). One would think we would start to see the two of them have a greater sense of how truly evil Catherine may be (especially once Emma relates the events of the post-dinner activities!) and just how bad/dangerous a position they may be in. I mean the warning from Danielle in the bathroom coupled with the things they experienced in book 3 with Catherine should be raising a lot of alarms in their heads! I hope the future books, in addition to more and continued sexiness with this cast of characters, also explains more of Catherine's backstory and that of her staff and we see more action by Nate and Emma enjoying (alone or with others, especially Mené!) the year long chastity experiment while protecting their relationship and fighting Catherine's efforts to destroy it and take permanent control of them. As you can tell, I'm rooting for team Emma/Nate to beat Catherine at her game and get the money!!

This was a really interesting continuation of an already exciting story of erotic suspense, tease, denial and domination (see my review of the first book of the series, 'Entrapped', for a general plot summery). This brings more of everything I liked about the first two books, whilst driving things towards new highs for Emma and Nate and revealing more about the brilliantly interesting and devious character of Catherine. I won't be giving away any spoilers here as I think the unfolding mystery is much of the charm here and the feeling of suspense is something I wouldn't rob you of. Suffice it to say that James Hardcourt has done another brilliant job with this and I really look forward to seeing more of this series in the future.
