I live in the Midwest with my husband and two dogs, enjoy spending time with my daughter, babysitting her two dogs, reading and working puzzles. We have traveled extensively, but I much prefer being a homebody.

I began writing erotic novels with an emphasis on erotic spanking five years ago never dreaming that I would get published. I just celebrated the release of my eleventh title and am very thankful to my publisher, Pink Flamingo, for taking a chance on me and giving me the opportunity to enjoy a fun career. While my earlier books lean more towards straight erotica that will appeal to only a very select audience, my last five books are erotic romances. I enjoy hearing all comments from readers. You can reach me at BJWane@cox.net.

This collection contains seven books. Each of which can be read as standalone but why would you when you'd miss all the deliciousness that comes with each storyline and their individual plots around the characters? The mystery, intrigue, camaraderie of friends and play partners, along with the scenes at one of the hottest clubs in town. Let B. J. Wane take you to Willow Springs, Montana, and introduce you to her residents. If you're anything like me, you'll be pulled in and made to feel like one of them. And when you leave? You'll sigh while trying to stand on shaking knees.

1.SUBMITTING TO THE RANCHER
Sydney Baker possessed two vices her family despaired of her ever getting under control: a penchant for always getting lost and getting herself into difficult situations. And the day she was supposed to start her new job as the new chef for twenty cowhands at the Dunbar Ranch was no exception to track record. Caden and his brother Connor had taken over the 6,000-acre cattle ranch after their father had retired and then expanded it to include raising Quarter horses. Not only that, but between them and Sheriff Monroe, they owned the BDSM club called 'The Barn'. And that's where Sydney found herself peeping in the windows of the locked building after she'd somehow taken the wrong exit. From there on its story that kept me chuckling at her humor, shaking my head at some of her antics, and kept me turning the pages between the titillating scenes, the interaction between the characters, and the family drama. I think I'm going to love this series if this is any indication.

2. SUBMITTING TO THE SHERIFF
Avery had to fun for her life, literally, because she had overheard her ex and his partner with the Chicago PD talking about making it look like an accident if she continued to dig into the files showing the evidence on their cases not matching the statements that were given. Going cross-country, taking odd jobs that would pay cash seemed to get her day to day but not very far away. When she winds up taking a job as a sex phone operator, she knows she's in over her head when she stammers and stutters so much she's continually hung upon. Fate seemed to be looking out for her the night Sheriff Grayson Monroe dialed a wrong number and she answered. Intending to hang up after apologizing for the inconvenience, Avery begs him to stay on the line and just talk to her. She just needs the calls to last and doesn't know how to do that. That’s when Grayson takes things in hand and ultimately talks her through her first orgasm. Without knowing exactly why she's taken a job she has no idea how to do, he tells her if she's ever in Willow Springs, MT to look him up. But can she trust him to help her? There are a few moments in this storyline where I've chuckled at Avery's naivety which really, just made her all the more approachable. The story was great, the scenes were HOT as blue blazes, and I just love the characters. This was great.

3. SUBMITTING TO THE COWBOY
At ten years old, Tamara found herself moving to Montana to live with a father she'd never met and his wife. Her mother had left with her current boyfriend. Trying to adjust to a new school, new family, and the fear of further abandonment gave her the determination to accomplish things that would allow her to fit in. That's how she found herself on a pony ride at a school outing when she had no idea how to ride. One minute she was a scared nervous wreck and the next she was relaxed enough to let go of the reins with one hand to pet the horse's neck. The next thing she knew, she was sliding off the horse. Before she completely fell out of the saddle she was rescued by an eighteen-year-old boy named Connor. He just caught her, helped her back in the saddle, and wouldn't you know, they were neighbors. From then on, Connor and Tamara had a very special relationship until the day she saw something that set Connor off and he lost his cool and couldn't take back what he said. That's when she left without a word or goodbye and moved away. BJ Wane had brought out all the emotions of this relatable story with characters that are so perfectly flawed it's almost like I knew them. Each story in this "Cowboy Doms" series just keeps getting better as we go along.

4. SUBMITTING TO THE LAWYER
If you've been following the "Cowboy Doms" series, then you'll remember Dan Shylock. He's the lawyer that moved into town, bought the ranch, and then became part of "The Barn". Of course, Nan runs the tea shop in town, she's also one of Tamara's best friends and has been since they were teenagers. She and Dan make the perfect partners at The Barn. They have that unique relationship of being intuned to each other as play partners in a scene and friends with an easy camaraderie anywhere else. That was until Nan took a two week trip to New Orleans to visit her brother that turned into ten months. At that time no one heard from her. All their texts and calls were answered by her brother in very short and cryptic answers. After ten months when she did return to Willow Springs, Nan wasn't the same vivacious person that left. Dan would know if anyone would, and he wanted answers and intended to get them. Before I go on with my review, let me just say, there could be triggers in this book. They are deep, dark, and did make my heart stutter and blood run cold but the love and care of friends, including one special Dom, and the determination of one submissive, there is a very happy ending. I loved this story and just had to sigh with contentment by the time it said 'The End.'

5. SUBMITTING TO TWO DOMS
Greg and Devin took early retirement from the FBI after their last assignment ended less than perfect. That's when they took early retirement, moved back to Montana, started The Wild Horses Dude Ranch, and began their new life. Things were going well until their former boss from the bureau called and needed a favor. Greg knew he had no problem but Devin wanted no part of it. He couldn't get over what happened last time. Kelsey couldn't figure out what the big deal was. She was a nobody! She didn't need to leave Philadelphia and go all the way to Montana but she loved her foster parents and felt like she owed them so much for always being there for her when no one else was. She couldn't wait to go back home though B. J. Wane has added so much mystery and intrigue with this storyline. I loved the way there was a continual push and pull between these three and the fact Kelsey was no shrinking violet, on the outside, only added to the underlying chemistry that was building. Of course, we get to go back to The Barn and see characters we've all come to know and love to catch up with what's new and get a few surprises there as well. 'Submitting to the Cattleman' is next and as soon as I finish hitting the post button for this review, I intend to start on that one.

6. SUBMITTING TO THE CATTLEMAN
Have you been keeping up with the "Cowboy Doms"? If you have then you know Kurt has just come back to the area and started visiting The Barn. In 'Submitting to the Cattleman' we get to know his story. We also get to meet Leslie who has moved to the area. Both have such emotional backstories, it's almost impossible to read without some type of reaction. Add the intrigue and mystery that comes with the plot along with the chemistry between these two characters and it will pull you in just as it did me. I've said it before and I'll repeat it now. Each book becomes a little more intense. A little more engaging. A little hotter. Another great read.

7. SUBMITTING TO THE DOCTOR
Doctor Mitchell Hoffstetter was the chief trauma surgeon at Denver Health. Unfortunately, after a long battle with cancer, there was nothing his skill or connections could do for his wife and submissive of eight years. After eighteen months he sold the house they had shared, resigned from his position, and moved to Montana. With the move, he decided to take on less stress with the position of family practitioner and make himself the promise to never allow anyone to get that close again. Lilian and Liana were twins. They went through every change together for thirty-four years, including burying their parents. Then Liana had a brain aneurysm that ruptured. Once the hospital got her stabilized she was taken to a long term care facility with no real hope of recovering. Six weeks later, Liana passed leaving Liliana on her own. If there was a silver lining in any of this, it was the fact she was now free of her abuser and ex-boyfriend, renowned neurosurgeon Doctor Brad McCabe who had used his threats to torture Liana if she were to leave him. Now that she was free of him she vowed never to give control to another human being ever again.

A wonderful collection of stories, superbly written with great characters
Submitting To The Rancher – BK 1
Sydney is running, having recently escaped being drugged she is now employed as a ranch cook…..
Sydney is on the way to her new employment working as a Ranch Cook however she has a terrible head for direction and once again has managed to get lost, she finds herself lost in the middle of nowhere. Approaching a rather large barn she looks for a front door and signs of life, as she peeps through a window, she receives quite a surprise!! The only live stock appears to be a rather beautiful young woman with a well warmed behind along with an extremely dominant male, who appears to have spotted her prying eyes.
Caden and his brother are both surprised and also somewhat grateful that their missing cook has arrived even if it is the same female, he’d directed the previous night, Caden had wanted to reject her because of her tardiness in arriving late, however her explanation had been concise and believable. More importantly was the fact that one more meal from the local bistro would possibly lead to the men leaving, they worked hard, the days were long and feeding them hot, healthy and nutritious meals.
Caden and Sydney begin to recognise that they had a rather inadvertently fallen for each other and she realised that she had no desire to return to her old two bath flat, no she wanted to stay on the beautiful cattle ranch and continue to experience the very combustible nights in his arms….
Submitting To The Sheriff – BK 2
A mis dialled number, a frightened woman’s voice remained with him but why?
Grayson had known instantly that the woman on the phone was in trouble, that she was running from something or some one and as he had talked with the young woman his final words had been, should you ever reach Willow Springs Montana ask for Grayson Monroe.
On the run from two dirty cops that she’d heard plot her demise if she had discovered the truth about the tampered evidence all she had known was that she had to run! Run! RUN. She had remembered the man’s voice and the manner in which he had tried to help her even though he knew nothing about her, she had decided to make her way to Willow Springs where Darren and his sidekick hopefully would not find her.
Finding wok at the diner she had started to integrate with a few of the locals who all welcomed her with open arms and kindness, she also had met Sheriff Grayson Monroe and was deciding whether he was a man that she could trust with her findings, would he help her bring two dirty cops to justice? Would he be able to keep her safe? Once they knew where she was her life would be worth nothing and she was right!!!
This was a great addition to this wonderful series the male characters were dominant in every sense of the world however the women in their lives were clever, kind and loving and when they needed to they could kick ass….
Submitting To The Cowboy – BK 3
He’d been her best friend, her greatest adjutant eight years older they had been
Tamara had had her crush on Connor Dunbar since she was old enough and he had been the older neighbour that had her friend, her confidant and her rescuer at times and then he had helped her ride her first horse, jump her first fence and then after that one day and a moment of unschooled words and this had all ended. She had left for five years to work in Boise and the only thing that had brought her back home to live was the death of her beloved father and her world had seemed so much smaller, she returned back to the ranch the place that held her heart and her friend’s she had missed it and needed it almost as much as air.
Connor has never forgotten the day his words had hurt her and she had fled her home and the only parents that had ever loved her and he had missed their friendship, her grey eyes and smiling face however, the face he had looked on at the funeral had been so haunted by her father’s death but she had returned to run the ranch to help run it alongside her stepmother and trusted ranch manager.
Tamara had decided to go to the BDSM club owned by Connor and his brother and the sheriff and trying to comprehend that she was a grown woman and that she had submissive tendencies was not comprehensible to him however he would soon learn that she was determined to test the waters and this in turn tested him.
This is book three in the Cowboy Doms series but reads as a standalone.
Submitting To Two Doms – BK 5
Kelsey has no recollection of her childhood or parents, or who wants her dead ?
Kelsey has never forgotten wondering the streets at five years of age, no recollection who her parents were or where she had come from? She had then gone through the childcare system for five years being shuttled carelessly between various foster homes.
Then Kelsey had been fostered by two FBI agents who had taken her in and made her part of their home and their family for over a decade, now twenty nine she is still filled with insecurity, not being worthy to have a family, or the love by these two individuals that have become her life and she will do anything to make that happy and proud of her.
Thet had taken her in when no one else had wanted her, they had helped her deal with the two previous attacks when she was young. Now they were helping to keep her safe once again after she had killed a man when she defended herself from his attack. He had fallen to his death at the kink club she had been working at, she had been going over their accounts.
After this last attack she is secreted away with two of their retired agents and friends Greg and Devlin who now own a Dude Ranch, the responsibility is not wanted by Devin and he tries to ensure she knows to keep out of his way. Kelsey wants to go home but she would never worry her foster parents, they needed to time to investigate who the dead attacker was and why she continues to be a target.

She soon finds that they are not going to stand for any nonsense, they are going to keep her safe and sound and return her to their friends. However, the tiny imp finds her way through their barriers and her natural submissive and brave nature is endearing, she so needs to be wanted and she also wants to learn more about a D/s relationship and they have time on their hands.
When trouble once again comes calling both men have to come to her assistance and there is not a hope in hell, they are going to allow history to repeat itself!! `
Submitting To The Cattleman – BK 6
Lesley is in witness protection, her attacker is hot on her heels…..
Lesley has already given up so much after that one fateful night when she had gone into a much-liked shop and witnessed the shop owner being gunned down by two young callous men that thought it was a mere joke. Bravely she had come forward and had given her recount of how she witnessed the two men callously kill the shop owner, she had watched as they were sentenced to life imprisonment and had then been threatened with death by their father.
After a shooting outside her home and her elderly neighbour being hit she had been moved and put into witness protection and had virtually vanished by assuming a new name and identity and leaving behind everyone she had ever known even her sister, living in her new town for three years as a second grade teacher she had remained very private and avoided any real friends for fear they could be hurt if she was found.
Then one night she had met a new man and her life had started to change, unbeknown at that time Kurt had been a Dom at the same club she occasionally attended and when they had got together their interaction had been earth shattering even though neither had known they were D/s and that they had mutual acquaintances.
Kurt knows that Leslie is hiding something about her and he can sense her pain and her loneliness and the connection they have is explosive, he also has not been able to forget her she is firmly in his mind which is unusual for him and he knows that he has to help her. What he had not expected was for her to be nearly killed and for her to finally come clean.
Imagine her surprise when the people she knew from the club came to her aid and offered to help her in any way they possibly could, however she refused to put anyone in danger and was waiting to recover from her injuries enough to allow her to once again move into another witness protection placement.
However, Kurt had other ideas!!
This was another wonderful addition to the series and it was impossible to put the book down once I started reading it was intoxicating.
Submitting To The Doctor – BK 7
Another wonderful addition to this D/s series, riveting read….
Lillian has been through hell since her sister slipped in to a coma, threatened by her boyfriend that should she fail to obey he would devise some drug of choice that would cause her twin sister Liliana to suffer unimaginable agony.
More than accustomed to Brads fists and the excellent ability he had for maximum pain with minimum show she believed he will do everything he says, when she had packed and been leaving the home she’d been forced to share he had viciously attacked her but she had fought back and every bit of anger, desperation and sheer bloody mindedness had allowed her to escape once and for all.
And had unfortunately she had been caught in a snow storm and had driven off the road, Mitchell had not been able to believe the bruised and battered females face peering out the windscreen at him. She had obviously been badly beaten and had been trying to escape, he had taken her in and cared for her and they had become two individuals suffering from broken hearts and they had found each other and started to begin to heal.
As Mitchell introduces this very opinionated women to his alternative lifestyle of D/s they soon realised that they had something very precious and that they wanted to nurture it and see where it leads.
Unfortunately her boyfriend’s brother is on the hunt for the abusive ex-girlfriend that refused to leave when his brother had told her the relationship was over, she had struck him and had left him injured which he was going to ensure she was charged for, he had always believed his baby brother lies but this time she had proof.
Bryan knew that he had to find the photographs and the return her to face the charges of assault.
I voluntarily received and review an Advanced Reader Copy
I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the great writing.

What a great series, Cowboy Doms. There are several authors that as soon as I see a new book by them, I can’t wait to read, and Ms. BJ Wane is one of those authors. She has a way of spinning a tale, with a great cast of characters, and wonderful dialog and interaction. Her women are strong, feisty, and her men are dominant alphas, making for a perfect combination.

Submitting to the Rancher

The plot will have Sydney getting lost finding the Dunbar ranch and instead, seeing the light on a barn, she peers inside a window and WOW at what she sees, a private club, rightly named, The Barn, with half-naked women and alpha women. She can’t look away, and she will be caught, but none other than Caden.

The story is full of mystery, suspense, danger, a cook who has no sense of direction, a man who is fighting an attraction, and then dealing with issues on the ranch. Sydney won’t open up and tell him what is going on, but Caden and even Sheriff Grayson know something is bothering her. What will happen to the Dunbar ranch if she stays? Her Uncle Mike has tracked her down, and threats are made, where will Sydney go to keep others safe?

I love the chemistry between Caden and Sydney, he is stubborn, but when he gives in and takes control, he knows just how to take care of Sydney and rock her world. What will it take for her to trust him completely with her story? Will she need to leave just as she finally finds happiness? Their story is full of erotic scenes, and the sex scenes between Caden and Sydney are explosive—and there might be some surprises too. I can’t wait for more stories in this series.

Submitting to the Sheriff

The plot will start in Chicago with Avery Pierce overhearing a conversation between her boyfriend and his partner, both with Chicago PD—and it involves stealing evidence, drugs, and selling them—but also a concern about what she might know and needing to eliminate her. Grabbing a few items, her money, she will take off for the west and picking up odd jobs to survive, including a sex talk line where she will have one caller who offers her help—and a message.

“Look, if you’re ever near Willow Springs, Montana, stop and ask for Grayson Monroe. I might be able to help you.”

That will be the message that will have Avery on the move, picking up waitressing and odd jobs to pay for gas and get her to Montana. She arrives, gets a room at the motel, and finds her a job as a waitress at the diner in town. It doesn’t take long for Avery to meet Grayson, but she doesn’t tell him who she is—and what a shock to discover he is the sheriff.

The story is a mystery, suspense, danger, and secrets. Avery makes friends with several ladies in town and is even invited to visit The Barn, a BDSM club. Her visit will be an initiation into a whole new world of sex, dominance, and submission. When Grayson has her on his radar, she feels like she is between a rock and a hard place. She wants to believe him, trust him, but she has to be sure—when he learns more about her, he won’t be happy at her omission.

I love the chemistry between Grayson and Avery, his dominance and her innocence work well, but he knows she is keeping secrets. When her secrets come to light will he turn her away? Will she be back on the run again? The story includes exhibition, voyeurism, dominance, submission, dubious consent, and is full of erotic scenes both in and outside of The Barn.

Trouble is coming, and the story will take on a life and death situation. It will also have some surprises. I can’t wait for more stories in this series.

Submitting to the Cowboy

The story is a bittersweet tale of friends that go their separate ways and many years later have a second chance at happiness. But, one is more than stubborn and doesn’t allow a relationship to grow—wanting to remain a friend and protector. Words said in anger, hurt feelings, will keep her away—but it also robs her of time with her father and stepmother. Now, Tamara is back, her father has passed away, and she is running the ranch, dealing with issues, and trying to cope with the distance still between her and Conner. What are best girlfriends for but encouragement and to prod Tamara into exploring into BDSM at The Barn, a club owned by the Dunbar brothers and the Sheriff?

The story is the journey into the BDSM lifestyle and for Conner and Tamara to explore their feelings. While she has been in love with Conner for more years than she can count, he still treats her like a child that he protects. When he sees her as a woman, one who is openly exploring the club, he freaks out, this isn’t supposed to happen, and he is determined to scare her off. The push and pull in their relationship keep the pages turning and the chemistry between them sizzles off the pages, even if he doesn’t want to accept it. Will they be able to make things work now that they are both older? Or will he want to keep things as they used to be? What will open up Conner’s eyes to the truth?

The story includes continuing trouble happening with cattle rustlers and multiple incidences at the Barton ranch. It will contain explicit sex scenes and BDSM scenes in The Barn and other locations. This is a continuing saga and will have many people from the other books in this series.

“Thus began a friendship he never imagined would grow into an obsession to see to this girl’s every need, including ensuring her safety and happiness.”

Submitting to the Lawyer

The story will have Nan trying to pretend that her nightmare isn’t going to affect her life back in her hometown. She will slowly start visiting with friends, but she holds her terror to herself, not sharing and getting the support she needs. Trying to scene at the club brings the nightmares back and yet, she refuses to share with her friends—yet they all realize something is off. Why is she becoming forgetful—misplacing things?

The story is about trust, and when that trust is reneged on, the damage it causes. It is about loyalty and friendship and believing in the good of those who have proven over and over that they are there for you, they are true friends. It is about healing and allowing those who matter to lean on and help you heal. It is about accepting that there are more good people in the world than bad—and not allowing evil to win.

“I’m sure there’s a lesson to be learned here.”

Submitting to Two Doms

The more time she spends at the Wild Horse Dude Ranch, around Devin and Greg, along with two long term guest, Otis, and Silas, and ranch employees Tom, Mary, and Less, she becomes a part of the gang. Devin and Greg’s job is to keep her hidden and safe while the McAllisters and the FBI investigation as to who is after her—while keeping it all from Kelsey. When she is nearly injured, and it appears not to be a freak accident, it will put them on high alert, enough to change the last week of the incoming guest for the season. Have all the things that happened to Kelsey when she was younger been warnings, and why doesn’t she know the truth?

“We made a mistake in keeping you in the dark and you in not trusting us. We’ll do what people should do who love each other, forgive and forget.” –Jordan McAllister

The plot includes the danger of someone sent to attack Kelsey, first in Philadelphia, while she is working on the accounting at the BDSM club, and now it seems as if they have found her in Montana. Who is after her, and why? Will Devin and Greg be able to keep her safe? When it is all over, Kelsey needs to return to her life and home in Philadelphia, but will she find peace or be miserable? Was the offer by her cowboys just words, or is it more?

“Be careful stating what you want. She would take what she could get. Hadn’t that been her motto since setting her sights on her two cowboys?”

Submitting to the Cattleman

The plot will have Kurt on his way back home, but a stop in Billings will have him encountering a drunken Leslie when he saves her from a purse-snatcher and takes her home. Leslie pleads with him to stay and for them, it is first names only and a consensual one-night stand. But it seems to be more for each of them, a night they can’t forget—and one that replays in their memory.

Kurt may be home, but Leland is still a bitter man, between the death of his beloved wife, and then his daughter, he has never coped, and blamed Kurt, causing him to leave and move to Houston. How long will he stay is the unspoken question. Kurt meets up with several former friends, plus the new doctor in town becomes his friend—and it is quickly discovered that they are both Doms and plan to become members of The Barn.

“People change, Kurt, and sometimes life throws you a curveball that knocks you in the head and wakes up to a few things.”

What a shock when Kurt and Leslie are both members of The Barn and meet up again. While she attends during a masquerade night, Kurt sees through her disguise but lets her believe she is hidden until the end of their scene. He is determined to either work her into his life or out of his system.

Submitting to the Doctor

Lillian Gillespie is in an emotional turmoil, having just left the facility that was caring for her comatose twin sister, Liana, who has just died. With nothing left to hold her in Salt Lake City, this is her time to break free, and she will go to Brad’s house and pack her things a leave. No more will he hold her hostage and issue threats against her sister.

“I’m free, but god, sis, I never wanted to get away from him at your expense.”

The plot will have Lillian loading her car to be free of Brad finally and his cruelty, and just as she is ready to take her paintings to her car, he comes home and attacks her. But this time is different, while he leaves marks on her face that can be seen, Lillian fights back and gets a hit in and leaves. She doesn’t know where she will go; she has cleaned out her bank account and just drives. She will get caught in a blizzard in Montana and miss her exit and then spin into a tree. Dr. Mitch Hoffstetter is at his retreat cabin and hears the crash, only because he was outside gathering wood. Now he finds himself with an unwanted guest during the storm.

The story will bring the two most unlikely people together, first as a matter of survival and then as a courtesy. Mitch knows there is more to Lillian’s story about who beat her up and why but doesn’t pry into her business. After all, she is just a passing stranger. But, as Lillian stays in town to heal and form a plan for her future, she gets to know the ladies of the town, and before you know it, she is invited to a night at The Barn. She has only experienced a small touch of BDSM with Mitch, and now she has the chance to explore that deeper. But, Lillian is adamant she is not submissive and has a stubborn streak to her. Will she learn more about herself as she surrenders to Master Mitchell?

Trouble is heading her way, and she must decide if she is going to stay or leave. Just when she feels like maybe she and the doc have a chance, she misunderstands him and decides to call it quits. The story takes on danger and suspense, and in the end, Lillian learns how loyal the people of Willow Springs are for someone they call their own.

“There were some perks to shacking up with a man into kinky pleasures.”

“Funny, isn’t it,” she murmured, “how we both ended up here, grieving, and found a new home in the process?”

Eight steamy reads that include Cowboy Doms who fall for they ladies that they can’t walk away from. These are fast-paced read with plenty of drama, suspense and intrigue. The characters have plenty of depth and the chemistry is intense. An entertaining and steamy bundle. I liked it.

I got off to a rocky start with this collection. I was very happy to continue to the end, because the books get even better as the series progresses.
Submitting to the Rancher
I enjoyed this book. The story was mostly light and fluffy with some spice and a bit of intrigue. Unfortunately, it picks at a couple of my personal pet peeves with a bratty heroine whose behavior is textbook “too stupid to live”. I liked Sydney’s sass and snark, but I felt like she had zero common sense. I found Caden to be an interesting character. I would actually have liked to know more about him and his background; I didn’t get a sense of what made him tick. The Lifestyle elements are kind of a mixed bag for me. The safeword discussion made me very happy, but BDSM as an interrogation technique left me a little squicky. I also felt the intrigue didn’t reach the potential I wanted it to have. And the way it’s wrapped up in a “we are men, we will handle it” kind of way left a bitter taste in my mouth. However, I’m intrigued by these characters, and the thought of a Lifestyle club in a barn on a ranch in the middle of nowhere in small town America is such a fascinating premise. I want to read more.
Submitting to the Sheriff
I loved pretty much everything about Avery. From her clumsiness to her techie, nerd-girl awkwardness, she was a character I could connect with. She has moments that border on ‘too stupid to live’, but when running for one’s life I can understand there will be times when instinct will overrule caution and common sense. In the previous book, Grayson was one of my favorite characters, and I was really enjoying this book until it felt like he started taking his hurt pride out on Avery. Trust can’t be commanded, it’s earned; and Avery has a very legitimate reason for distrusting law enforcement officials. Besides, the delay in his learning her truth was his own fault for getting his nose out of joint and pushing her away just as she was about to open up to him. Again, we have BDSM as an interrogation technique, but this time I wasn’t just squicky, I was flat out angered. That anger pretty much soured all the enjoyment I’d been having. I also found the ending unsatisfying. All of the threads of their different problems; the crooked cops, the jealous sub, their unspoken feelings for one another; are all wrapped up in a couple of sentences each. The issue with the cattle rustlers is just left hanging, so I’m assuming it will be concluded in Connor’s book next. I was just hoping for more.
Submitting to the Cowboy
There are none so blind as those who will not see. I enjoyed this book, and yet I wasn’t able to fall in love with the story the way I was hoping to. I really liked Tamara. She has a weakness for Connor Dunbar, but in everything else she has a backbone and she isn’t afraid to use it. I loved the idea of best friends to lovers. I had adored Connor the Charming Rogue we met in the previous books. This Connor badly made me want to slap some sense into him. His indecision and waffling drove me completely batty. I really liked seeing this couple get their happy ever after, it just felt a bit rushed to me. I needed to see a lot more grovelling to be comfortable with Tamara’s forgiveness. Though, I am grateful to see that this book wraps up the rustler storyline that felt unfinished from the previous one.
Submitting to the Lawyer
This is probably my favorite in the series so far. I knew that getting either Nan or Dan past their respective refusals of a permanent partnership would take a lot of work, however I was really looking forward to seeing it happen. This book had some of the same issues that bothered me in previous books of the series, such as the use of BDSM as reward/punishment of secret-keeping. I both loved and didn’t the way Nan’s trauma and subsequent PTSD is handled in this book. I loved that it showed how innocuous things can be triggers, that the support of people who love you can be valuable tools, and what I appreciated the most was that it didn’t suggest that sex would solve all her problems. I wasn’t so fond of the fact that there wasn’t a mental health professional shown being involved in any part of her recovery. I also would have liked to see a better trigger warning in the blurb. I do like the author’s writing and I particularly liked that this story focused as much on the leading couple’s friendship outside of the club as it did their steamy encounters in it.
Submitting to Two Doms
To my delight, the series gets better as you get deeper into it. Greg and Devin are a dynamic that fascinated me from the moment I first read them. Their charming and engaging manner hides some deep emotional pain, that explained very clearly why they were resisting so hard the temptation Kelsey represented. Kelsey, herself, is a spitfire, and a bit of brat, to boot. I liked that she was so sassy, I just didn’t always like the way she expressed that sassiness. This story held my attention all the way through. The suspense kept me glued to my reader to find out what would happen next. The ending felt a little rushed, but since the tension gave the story the feeling of a slightly frenetic pace, it worked.
Submitting to the Cattleman
Already, my favorite book in the series has changed. Most of the stumbling blocks I had encountered in my enjoyment of the earlier books were not found in this one. I loved Leslie’s strength and her independence. I particularly liked that the author shows us that even though these are her strengths, they’re also the source of her greatest vulnerabilities. I enjoyed seeing that even though Kurt wanted to know all of Leslie’s secrets, he spends the time building trust with her through patience and consideration rather than using their shared Lifestyle as a method of extracting answers. My only real complaint is that the solution to all of Leslie’s problems felt like it came about a little too easily, and the wrap-up of the book is a bit abrupt. But otherwise, I enjoyed this a great deal.
Submitting to the Doctor
Now that I have reached the end of the series, I can safely say that THIS was my favorite book in it. I liked that these characters are not in the first flush of youth and have a little history and baggage behind them. It makes for interesting reading. I loved that this story shows us the angst and self-doubt Lillian has over being such an independent person yet also being intrigued by submission. I really appreciated that Lillian stood up to Mitchell when he got too bossy and demanding for her peace of mind. I was also very impressed that the author showed him tempering some of his more high-handed ways for her. The best takeaway I have from this story, the one I will cherish most, is that while it’s not often easy it is possible to find love again after loss.

Neither Gregg or Devin are impressed about having to guard a young woman as they left the FBI after they lost a family they were meant to be protecting. Kelsey wasn't impressed about being hidden on a ranch, but she starts to have an effect on Gregg and Devin, particularly after she persuades them to take her to the local BDSM club. Submitting to the Cattleman

One night Leslie drank to much at a bar and was mugged on her way home. She was rescued by Kurt and they had a hot night together. They meet again at the Barn a few weeks later, and scene together. Mitchell didn't want anyone with him while he mourned his wife, but he realises that Lillian is the first woman that he has been attracted to since his wife died. Lillian is persuaded to stay in town, and she makes friends with some of the locals. But then her ex's policeman brother tracks her down and plans to make her pay for an injury her ex acquired when she escaped. Can the town rescue her?

This book is a great read with low level BDSM.

Naughty in all the right ways.
Except for one of these books I read and reviewed them when they first came out and the reviews are below I enjoyed all the books and I am happy to recommend them all. The review for the book I missed is at the end. I did receive a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.
Submitting to the Rancher - From the fire into the frying pan! Running from home and ending up on a ranch our heroine is going to get more than she bargains for. Wow, this was good with heat, danger, domination, and submission all mixed into a love story what more could you ask for. Great character, good plot, and super writing I loved the book. Submitting to the Sheriff - Entertaining with a HEA. Avery is on the run from her boyfriend takes a job she did not really care for. An offer of help from Grayson and Avery wants to takes him up on the offer. She heads for Montana but does not get in touch when she gets there. This romantic suspense has dirty cops, rustling, and a sex club what a combination! I really enjoyed this book it was an awesome book. Submitting to the Cowboy - A super read. I have read the first books in this series and have enjoyed each and every one. The chemistry between Tamara and Connor made for a super read and it was nice to read their story since they were tied to the couples in the previous books yet it was a standalone! What I really like was Connor’s problem with just seeing Tamara as a sweet kid you can see where she might be a bit upset. I really enjoyed the book and look forward to reading others by BJ. Submitting to the Cattleman - Will she ever have someone? Having to give up her whole life because she did the right thing has been pure hell for Leslie. Her one outlet the Barn was a hard place for her to be now too there was a little bit too much happy getting together for her. So drinking too much one night ends her up with a one night stand, but it will not be the only one she will spend with Kurt. I thought the characters were great I have read a number of BJ Wane books and the characters are like old friends to me. This has a lot of steam so be warned but it is a good story underneath that and I really enjoyed reading it. Submitting to the Doctor- Strong determined until meeting her match. This was a great addition to Cowboy Doms series. I have enjoyed each book that I have read. In this one, Lillian finds the help she did not know she needed in Doctor Mitchell Hoffstetter. Both of these characters have had major losses and problems and the relationship that grows between them made for an engaging read. There is danger too so as steamy as it was the steam was placed in one very well-written tale. This is a BDSM romance so if that is not your cup a tea, stay away from this book but if that is not a problem for you I highly recommend the book. Now for the only book, I never got a chance to read Submitting to Two Doms – Kelsey is doing the Dominion company's books with strict orders to stay put. It would kindly be hard being 29 and being told what to do but she tries not to be to upset with her friends and the owner of the company. Then she does not follow the rules remember what happens to the noisy cat well this little kitten ends up being sent off to Montana. Questions are answered for there is also a mystery to solve but in the end, the story finishes with a bang. Let me give you a hint read the title again!

This is a great series and each book builds on the one before but each can be read as a stand-alone

Rancher
This was a lovely story of a young woman in trouble who stumbles upon a lifestyle she didn’t know she needed. Add in 3 dominant men, one of whom falls for her in spite on himself, his brother and the local sheriff and an uncle who is up to no good and you have a great story. There are flashes of humour, especially when Sydney gets lost yet again and again, there are erotic scenes as Caden educates Sydney and there are moments of fear when Sydney is threatened.

Sheriff
Avery and Grayson “meet” under the most unlikely of circumstances and just like Sydney, Avery hides the truth until Grayson makes her reveal her secrets. Grayson guides her through her introduction to bdsm and brings out the hidden submissive. The members of the club become her family and give her a safe haven. This is a feel good book with an underlying sense of suspense but overall it gives a feeling of happiness.

Cowboy
This is the third book in the series and it was great that the characters and events from the previous two books were included.  The dynamic between Connor and Tamara was palpable and oh so sexy.  While there was some intrigue the emphasis was much more on the relationship between Tamara and Connor and was very fulfilling and made for a great read.

Lawyer
This was my favourite of the series so far, the others were great but this was something special perhaps because we had had a glimpse of the relationship in the previous books.  The combination of the brutality Nan had suffered and Dan’s incredible compassion and kindness made for the perfect recipe.  Add in some hot sex, an undercurrent of mystery and a sympathetic recovering drug addict who had a gift with animals and this book had everything.

Two Dom’s
Finally Greg and Devin get their own submissive. This is a little different to the other books in the series a most of it takes place. On the dude ranch, but I really enjoyed it and catching up with all the previous Subs and Doms. The characters were great and the names Kelsey gives her lady parts made me smile every time I read it, it was perfect. It was a good story with interesting snippets about life on a dude ranch and some very hot sex. A good read

Cattlemen
I love every one of the books in this series and this one was no exception. It had a little of everything, mystery, intrigue, hot sex, humour, romance and a happy ending what more could a reader want, I wished there was more at the end but the author allows the reader to use their imagination. A thoroughly delightful story.

Doctor
I love this series and Mitchell and Lillian are great additions. They are so opposite they are perfect for one another and that they have both suffered devastating losses gives them an empathy for each other. I love that all the previous characters appear in every book and that the reader is kept up to date with what is happening in their lives. Right from the start reading this book is like getting a big hug with some very hot scenes to make you feel good.

Having them all in one book makes it easier to read and there is no waiting for the next one a great bonus.

I had previously written reviews for 5 of the 7 books in this series, so I read the two I had not reviewed.
Submitting to the Rancher is another fine story that is similar to the others in the series. Sydney is running from a family problem at home in Philadelphia, and ends up with a job cooking for the ranch owned by Caden and his brother, Connor. She has an interest in learning about BDSM at the club that they own, and finally gets an invitation. As time passes, a relationship develops between Sydney and Caden that is strengthened by the resolution of the problem back home – which involves potential violence directed at her and others at the ranch. Both Sydney and Caden are interesting and strong characters, and the rest of the characters in the story are people about whom the other books in the series are written.
Submitting to Two Doms was, in my opinion, the weakest book in the series. I wasn’t as interested in Kelsey, the young woman who is hiding at the ranch owned by Greg and Devin, and the MFM BDSM activities between the three of them were not as warm as the M-F activities in the other books in the series. However, it was a good story, with a mystery that needed to be solved in order for Kelsey to be free to enjoy her life and her relationship with her two Doms.
The other stories for which I have already written reviews – Submitting to the Cattleman, Submitting to the Doctor, Submitting to the Lawyer (all 5 star), Submitting to the Cowboy and Submitting to the Sheriff (both 4 star) – were excellent stories, and the 7 stories, taken as a whole, make for an enjoyable reading experience. Engulfed with Spanking! This is collection of your DOM’s finally meeting their match and spanking anytime they can…. There are seven short books to this collection all worth five stars on their own. Each book has a dom or two looking to just have a sub to spank around but end up falling in love instead and rescuing their loved ones. Well the love does come with spanking! Each of the couples have their own takes on being hilarious in their own way but you get to know each of the couples in each of the books while recalling or getting to know the next couple while enjoying The Barn!
Book 1 - Submitting to the Rancher – this is about Sydney and Cade
Book 2 – Submitting to the Sheriff – this is about Avery and Sheriff Grayson
Book 3 – Submitting to the Cowboy – this is about Tamara and Conner
Book 4 – Submitting to the Lawyer – this is about Dan and Nan
Book 5 – Submitting to Two Doms – this is about Kelsey, Devin, and Greg
Book 6 – Submitting to the Cattleman – this is about Leslie and Kurt
Book 7 – submitting to the Doctor - this is about Lillian and Mitchell

Great Boxset by BJ Wane

Holy Cowboys! A few highlights: (1) Wowee, Sydney has spunk! (Submitting to the Rancher); (2) I loved how Avery said ‘Sheesh’ all the time - you don’t hear people say sheesh anymore these days. (Submitting to the Sheriff); (3) Tamara’s tenacity was my favourite part of this story. (Submitting to the Cowboy); (4) My favourite part of this one was Pete’s salvation. Don’t get me wrong, Dan and Nan are as hot as Hades, but I’m so happy Pete came through in the end. (Submitting to the Lawyer); (5) Kelsey is just so darn feisty and sprite-like, she’s hard not to love. (Submitting to Two Doms); (6) I’m glad Leslie got her happily ever again, and Kurt was just so unrelentingly perfect for her. (Submitting to the Cattleman); (7) Lillian’s independence and resistance to Mitchell made me cheer and sigh when they finally admitted their feelings. (Submitting to the Doctor). I also really liked that all the characters in these stories were older, with histories and baggage and exes and lost loved one. The stories are richer for it.

These stories were fantastic! I loved each and every couple! The small town Vibe with the Big Time “Barn”. A consensual, safe place for the adults with a taste for the non Vanilla Variety of things. Get to know the Dunbar brothers or your local sheriff or doctor in this small place. It also has quite a few ranchers among them. There’s Gertie at the Diner who’s heart is as big as the state they live in, Montana by the way. But don’t ever let on that you think she’s nice. She has a gruff exterior or so she likes to think. Willa is the aged librarian. NaN has her own tea house with gourmet coffee also. They will welcome you in a second but don’t have any nefarious intentions because they all defend their own. The feels are many, the angst, the lust and eventually love are all right there for the taking! I loved each and every one of these stories! Definitely recommend to read!

This is a collection of the complete series, including all eight books. The stories are all erotic romances with elements of D/S and punishment (spankings).

Each story is well written and easy to read with a nice pace that builds rather than jumping straight to the end. The stories are also all written as standalone stories. There are some references to other characters and events, but nothing more. That means you get eight sets of characters with eight different situations, providing for plenty of variety. All of the characters are well developed and have just the right amount of conflict in their personalities to really fit well together. All of them were very enjoyable, although I did have a couple of favorites (but I am not telling so you can make your own assessments).
Overall, an excellent collection of stories.

Highly recommended.

This is a collection of seven full length standalone BDSM stories with interconnected characters. I was pretty pleased to be able to binge read this new-to-me authors' work & thoroughly enjoyed the variety of tropes in this set. I found myself getting attached to the secondary characters in the first stories & happy to see them get their own books (everyone's got a story with secrets, drama, or action in it). Set in Montana, I liked the small town vibe, the local kink club-aptly named The Barn-and the locals whose constancy helped bring the location to life. I'm a sucker for a second chance romance and loved Submitting to the Cowboy with Con & Tam. Also Nan & Dan's story of heartbreak & healing. Great collection, and I’ve found a new author to follow!

This collection is a do not miss! The pace, the world, the characterization is enthralling. I was caught up turning pages well into morning. There is no favorite between the stories. The author drags the reader into the action from the first paragraph. Then you're as caught up in the girls' antics as the Dom that's her focus. The editing is lovely, the HEAs are fitting, the action and adventure keep the pace quick.
I would love to get lost and run up on The Barn. Or maybe get my own invitation. I love the ranch setting, the small town vibe, and the attention of the residents who without hesitation, reach out to the new additions to Willow Springs.

Great box set of Cowboy Doms. Each story had their own storyline and the couples were perfect for each other. I was so engrossed in these stories that I had to read until the very end. There is not one story that's better than the other, loved them all. There is plenty of action, drama, and adventure the give these stories a quick pace. You have seven dominate men that work the ranch during the day and then enjoying the BDSM club, The Barn, every weekend night. They all have a protective streak and they each meet a gorgeous, sweet, wonderful girl who is in some trouble. All the Dom's show their sobs that they are the most important part of their lives. Each has a wonderful HEA. I received a copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This is a great collection of the cowboy doms. I enjoyed everyone of the books. For the most part they are all well written and very very enjoyable. If you like dominate men, some cowboys and other great guys. There are seven books to this series they are about a rancher, sheriff, cowboy, lawyer, two doms, cattleman and a doctor. What could be better. I would highly recommend this collection. Fantastic. I love BJ Wane, and have many of her books because she never disappoints. Dominate males and the women they love.

I received an ARC from the author thru Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving my review. I really appreciated the author giving us this set of the Cowboy Doms. Bj writes these stories where you can count that the BDSM is portrayed the way it should be. Every woman and her man or men, knew where they stood with the other when it came to play. Each one of these books is well written and the characters pull you in and keep you engaged. They have their drama, some suspense and sparks that fly between them to get their happy ending. I highly recommend picking up this set and then look up more of her books

This is a collection of 8 full sized stories of panty melting goodness. Each story has a dominant cowboy who meets a woman running from trouble. Each story has a great storyline with relatable characters making you want to be that woman and all of the stories flow well into each other.  The men are dominant and protective and the women are strong and submissive. I literally couldn't put this down.

This is a great series and I can't wait to read more from this author.

Seven glorious tales of Alpha cowboys: rancher, sheriff, cowboy, lawyer, cattleman, doctor and two doms together. The men are strong and the women are in need of direction from abuse, grief, loss of direction, stalkers and more. They end up at The Barn and things start to change. Romance and BDSM keep the action going as they all try to figure out their futures. The stories are well thought out and the vivid details and backstories bring them alive.

Cowboy Doms

Need some binge reading material? This collection of seven books by Ms. Wane is perfect. Her "Cowboy Doms" series is one of my favorites. I loved all seven of these stories. Although, I was able to narrow it down to two as my absolute favorite in the series. Those are "Submitting to the Sheriff" and "Submitting to the Lawyer". Read and make your own choice....

What a great collection of Doms and their submissive set in the West! These se*y cowboys have found the perfect submissive for them. Each couple and 1 throuple are well matched, compelling, each has some baggage to overcome. There are some twist and turns, chemistry, and more than a spanking or two and more! There is no way I can choose a favorite, they are all hot. Great Read

I missed these book as they were being released, so I was really glad to see the box set. Each book is a complete novel with lots of drama and a seriously good HEA. I loved all the characters and the way each book builds on the previous book. My plan was to slowly read through the series, but once I started I couldn't resist continuing.

Absolutely fantastic Collection! Well written emotionally deep romances. The storylines are flawless, funny, witty, enjoyable, and very interesting. It was enjoyable because of the fantasy aspect of having one of your own D/s, relationships. The stories flow smoothly and move along at a brisk pace with a few ups and downs and a mix of emotions on every page. The chemistry between them is intense and their love scenes are beautifully written and HOT!

Just as good as the first books.

I was thrilled when this set came out because I only had the first three books. So this is for the last four books. I loved the couples, and the suspense in these books. The plots were a little contrived with every one of the women having overwhelmingly severe troubles to be rescued from, and there were a few missing plot holes that I questioned, but overall these were great, sexy, 'hot dominant cowboy' stories that I would read again.

This is a great set of books. The Doms in these stories are true alpha males who will provide many a delightful moment for the women they desire. I was swept away by the storytelling. The subtle details gave the stories an added thrill. The dangerous vibe of the strict dominance gave a level of suspense. I enjoyed reading this set.
