My son is a little under a year old, and loves interactive touchy-feely books, so I bought him a few for Christmas. This is one of the ones I got him.
This book is has cute illustrations and short sentences to keep my little one’s attention. We really enjoyed this book, just not as much as some of the other touchy-feely books we’ve read.
My main complaint with this book is that the textures on each page are all very similar. I would have loved to have a better mixture.
The artwork is colorful & peppy. My son also seems to really like the textures for each animal. My one pet peeve with animated animal books is when the animals look too cartoony, in this case the elephant page. If the book is trying to educate kids on animals I think the artwork should look a bit more realistic vs. cutsy.
