Instructions unclear .. wanted to learn about astrology … no but fr taking an intro to astronomy course this term to satisfy eng req. This course is single handedly the reason I haven’t been reading more books this fall (assignment, test, another assignment, test …). Unlike other textbooks I am actually counting this one in my reading list just because I think it’s the first textbook I genuinely skimmed and used for course content and is a pretty good overview of astronomy concepts.

The text itself is a great intro to astronomy, but it’s a true shame that many of the books features (reviews, practice tests, etc.) are behind yet another price wall.
