I LOVED this book. A quick and memorable read filled with days and days of commitment to quality city management and a real concern for his constituency. Tim has positively left his very favorable mark on the cities of Laguna Niguel and Redondo Beach. Such a great memoir of a career in city management. Tim’s stories of the crazy moments, the proud moments, and the career highs and lows is completely relatable for those of us doing this work. If you ever wondered what life on City Hall is really like for a City Manager, give this a read.
