Better Together

When Ryan Ball took in his nephew after his brother and wife died in a tragic car accident, his life was turned upside down. He’d needed help and that help meant going to Cedarville, Ohio, a town that in only a few days had sucked him in and made him never want to leave. So on a whim, he packed up his apartment and became the town’s newest resident.

He swore to himself that moving had nothing to do with the sexy brunette that he’d had an instant attraction to the first time they’d met. Which was a total lie. If ever there was a reason to uproot your whole life, Addison Scott was in the top ten.

She drew him in with her smart mouth, gorgeous looks and big heart. Dating however, wasn’t in his comfort zone and he wasn’t sure how to navigate his new life while raising a child and falling for Addison.

One thing was for sure though, he wasn’t going to give up. Not when everything he wanted was within arms reach.

Better Together by Bree Kraemer a fabulous five-star read. This is the fourth book in the Cedarville Novels. All four books focus on a gang of friends, some are real family, some born and raised in Cedarville and some new to the town, they may be friends but most of all they are family, not by blood but by bond. In this book we see them welcome Ryan Ball into the fold after he gives up his life in Baltimore, Maryland and move to Cedarville after an accident killed his brother and left him with the parental responsibility of a little boy named Reed. A sexy Brunette named Addison may have also had a little to do with it, but overall he made one major life change for himself and a little boy who just like him needs a family.
Addison Scott has always been the pretty one, when she fell out of the pretty tree she hit every branch on the way down, that type of pretty. The downside is other people only see the pretty on the outside and never the inside, they just see a pretty girl and most people are jealous of that. Woman worry that she will steal their husband and boyfriends so they never wanted to be friends with her, until she met the Cedarville crew and they sucked her in her life was very sad and lonely. She had dated in the past, but something was always missing and she blamed herself.
Can two people who haven’t had the best history dating, have better luck that apart. Will the water in Cedarville do its magic again and provide another love match in this small town?

Better Together (A Cedarville Novel Book 4) by Bree Kraemer is the fourth book in her A Cedarville series. This is a stand alone book but I would suggest that you go back and read the other three books too. They will give you background information on some of the characters in this book. One of the things that I enjoy most about an author is when they write a series that can be read as a stand alone that they include previous characters in their current book. This is exactly what this author has done. It is great seeing what happened to previous characters. I enjoyed her creativity with these characters and the story line. These characters are true to life and will pull you into their hot, steamy world. This story is engaging and will keep you reading until the end. Find out what happens to these characters as they finally give each other a chance to prove their love to each other.

Ryan Ball's life was turned upside down when he took his nephew in. His brother and wife passed away in a car accident and now he is left to raise their son. He decided that he needed help and that meant going to Cedarville, Ohio. What he didn't expect was to be picking everything up and moving his life there. He is determined that his decision has nothing to do with the sexy, Addison Scott, that he met a few weeks ago. Their attraction was instant. But he would be lying to himself, she was the one of the top reasons to be moving to Cedarville. Dating wasn't one of the things he was comfortable with and wasn't sure how he could manage his new life raising his nephew and falling for her. One thing that he knows for sure, he won't be giving up anytime soon not when everything he has ever wanted is right in front of him.

Addison and Ryan's relationship is one that they both were attracted to each other the first time they met. Addison's problem is that she doesn't want to take Ryan from his nephews time. Will Ryan convince her that this is not the case at all? She has a past that has left some emotional scars, will they work through them so they can find their HEA? She has a smart mouth, gorgeous body with a big heart. He also has a big heart but is less confident when it comes to his new life. He is worried about what she will think if he decides to stay in Cedarville. He has lots of patience with her but yet something is stopping her from giving herself to him. You will find yourself pulling for this couple and hoping that they will finally get their HEA. You will love this couple. They are great together and really are compatible. The secondary characters are just as great and are in support of these two. These characters add to the flow of the story and really does complete it. Find out what happens to this couple as they are faced with everyday struggles. They are learning to trust each other, will they fully give themselves to the other?

I am not sure how many books by Bree Kraemer that I have read other then all of them in this series. I can't wait to see which characters she will write about next in this series. Bree lives in Ohio with her husband and three children. She writes her stories with either a lot of hot steamy sex or sometimes a little. This story is fast paced and will keep you reading until the end. I read this book in one sitting as it will keep you engaged until the last page. I needed to know if they find their HEA. I highly recommend this book as I know you will want to see what happens to Ryan and Addison and whether or not they find their HEA.

4 –Stars

Better Together is the 4th book in Bree Kraemer’s Cedarville Novel series. Yes, it can be read as a standalone but it would probably be a lot easier to read it in order because so many characters from the previous books make an appearance BUT stories don’t overlap so it can be a standalone. This was the first novel I read from the author and it wasn’t hard for me to catch up. With that being said, I will definitely go back and read the previous books because I loved this one so much!

This one has a unique twist. Normally when we see one or two people get custody of a kid we watch them fall in love but that isn’t the case. This story is so unique and heartfelt that you cannot help but fall in love.

Ryan gets custody of his nephew because his brother and wife die in a car wreck. He moves to Cedarville, OH because he has a bond with people there and the lifestyle is more easy going. This is what he tells himself because he wants to deny the fact that he moved there for Addison. Their attraction was instantaneous but they both have scars and inexperience that ride against them plus a little 6-year-old boy. The struggles they met were real and the dilemmas only pulled at your heart strings more but it was exactly what I needed this summer.

I don’t want to give away details but this story needs to be read. I’m loading up my kindle as we speak with the previous books because I know by just reading this one I won’t be disappointed!

This is the fourth book in the Cedarville series. This could be read as a stand alone but you would get a better understanding of all of the characters if you read this series in order. I have read all the other books and they are just as good as this book. This book had me on the edge of my seat at the very first page. I was addicted to these characters. It only took me only one full day to finish this amazing story.

Ryan Ball’s life changed really fast when he got a phone call saying that his brother and wife died in a car crash. He was in shock over his brother's death. He later finds out that his brother had a son and now he is left to raise him on his own. Ryan finds out that there is help for him but it is in Cedarville Ohio. He wants the best for his nephew and he decides to move his whole life to Ohio. When he gets there he meets the gorgeous Addison Scott again. Ryan has an instant connection with her. The only thing is he very rusty on dating. Will it be too much for him to raise a young boy and also fall in love? Will he regret his decision on moving to this small town?

Addison is a natural beauty. She doesn't have many friends. When one of her brother’s friend comes to visit ,Addison feels this instant pull toward him. A few weeks later she hears that her crush is now living in Cedarville. Addison has had a hard past when in came to men. She doesn't trust any men they all have broken her heart in the past. She quickly realized that Ryan is not like them at all. He is a gentleman and too good to be true. She starts to feel something for him that she has never felt before. Can she grow to trust another man again or will she end up broken hearted? Will they be better together or miles apart?

This love story is amazing. I felt all types of feelings through the whole story. There is everything you would want in a love story in this book. These characters will make it into your heart when you are done with this book. Ryan is so sweet to his nephew it will make your heart melt. He takes things slow to make Addison more comfortable. He is the true gentleman. Addison is beautiful inside and out. She has a heart of gold. She had a rocky past that she needs to get over in order to see her future. I love that this book is in both of the characters points of views. I love how you can read both sides to this amazing love story. My favorite is that you get to see how the other characters from the other books are doing now. This is one of my favorite series and I can not wait and see what character this author will write about next.

Better Together (A Cedarville Novel Book 4)
By: Bree Kraemer
5 out of 5 stars

The story Better Together (A Cedarville Novel Book 4) by Bree Kraemer is a contemporary romance book. Ryan came to Cedarville because he needed help taking care of his nephew. He came to love the town and now he is its newest resident. There is also another reason that he moved to Cedarville and it has everything to do with the beautiful brunette that he found an instant attraction to when they met. Addison is a woman who has gone through life without a lot of friends. She now finds herself with a group of friends that accept her and it is through them that she meets Ryan. She has not had success with relationships in the past. Will this time be different? They both feel the attraction to each other. Read this book to find out what happens when two people find a connection between themselves and go way out of their comfort zones. Could this be true love in the making?

This is the next amazing story in the Cedarville series. I have loved this series since the very first book. Not only does the author give you an amazing storyline she creates characters that are real and that you can relate to. I highly recommend reading this series in order as from the very first book you are introduced to characters that overlap into the next story. While each book’s focus is on one couple, it also updates you on the lives of their friends and family. I absolutely love series like this as you feel like you are catching up with old friends and keeping in touch. This story about Ryan and Addison is a wonderful addition to the series. This couple knows that they are attracted to each other however they are still hesitant. They then find their feelings for each other growing. They have agreed to go slow in their relationship. Will this agreement last? Ryan also has the added responsibility of his nephew in his life. How will this fit into their relationship? Will Ryan and Addison make sure that they keep the lines of communication between each other open or will things that are kept secret lead to misunderstandings?

Once I started reading this book I could not put it down until I finished. I just had to know what happens with Ryan and Addison. This is a book that will have you smiling as you know that this couple is meant for each other. This is also a story that has some very steamy romance scenes. It would be recommended for those 18 years of age or older.

Better Together is the fourth novel in the Cedarville series by Bree Kramer. This is my third novel by this author.

Ryan Ball uproots his life to Cedarville after his brother Rob and brother's wife Tina is killed in a car accident leaving their young son Reed to be raised by Ryan and Rob’s ex-girlfriend Carly and her boyfriend Tony.

“He, Ryan Ball, who had never done a spontaneous thing in his thirty years of living, had two weeks ago made the biggest decision of his life. A decision that hadn’t even been a decision at all.”

Not only did he move for Reed but also to be close to Addison who is the sister of Tony.

He’d worked so hard to push her out of his mind the last two weeks. Made sure that she wasn’t the reason he’d decided to move his whole life to Cedarville. But that didn’t mean he wanted to hear about her with another man. And sure, technically, they were nothing. Barely even friends. But he felt more, wanted more. Addison Scott was Tony’s sister. Ryan had met her the first time he’d come to visit Reed after his first week in Cedarville. He’d been taken aback by her beauty first but once they’d started talking, he found out they had a lot in common. The big one was that they both wanted more from life. Their attraction which had been instant and mutual, only grew the more time they spent together. But Ryan hadn’t been in a place where he could start something with anyone, let alone her. She was the sister of the man whose girlfriend was co-parenting Reed with him. That was as convoluted as it sounded and made Addison completely off limits.”

Ryan falls for Addison almost instantly. But dating is the last thing on his mind while raising Reed. Will he see that everything he wants is an front of him and go for it?

Ryan and Addison have an obvious attraction but it will take time before they act on their feelings.

“Her mouth opened but no words came out. Even just the possibility of Ryan living in her town, had her tongue tied. She could barely control her feelings for him when he’d lived five hundred miles away. If he lived a mile from her, she’d have a nervous breakdown.”

I love the series and not only because it's set in my home state. I just love the characters. While you can read the series as standalone novels, it's better if you read them all so you can see where each character is and how they are.

Another great installment of this wonderful series.

Better Together (A Cedarville Novel Book 4) by Bree Kraemer

5 Stars

I LOVE this series!! I'm thinking this book might be my favorite of all of them, but that doesn't mean much because I think each one is my favorite when I hit the last page. This is my new feel good series. This author has me wanting to move to Cedarville, and I want to be a part of this group of people. Thank you Bree Kraemer for writing an AMAZING series, and I hope there is more to come from Cedarville.

This is Addison and Ryans book and as soon as I knew they were getting their own book I have wanted to read it, and I was not disappointed.

Addison is Tony's sister as well as his partner at his security firm. Ever since she became friends with Tony's girlfriend Carly and her friends, her life has not been the same. She has never had any good friends as girls always seemed threatened by her and how beautiful she is. Since being brought into Carly's group she has finally found a place where she belongs, and she loves them all. She hasn't had a lot of luck with men if her past was any indication then she would just do without, until Ryan moved to Cedarville, a sexy complication she did not need.

Ryan just made the biggest decision of his life, leaving the big city and moving to Cedarville where he could raise his nephew with the help of Carly, his nephews half sister. He was never one to be spontaneous, everything was always planned out perfectly for him, but now he is moving to a small town, with no job, living at Carly's, and no real idea what he was going to do. He just knew he loved the town, loved the new group of friends that welcomed him with open arms, and he loved his nephew, who would be happiest in Cedarville with all of them. It didn't hurt that while he was there visiting he had developed quite an attraction to Addison, and if being close to her was part of the deal then all the better for him.

You have to read this book to watch these two amazing people who have comfort zones that do not include dating figure out how to date. They have to learn to trust and be honest with each other, which is not easy for either of them. Will Ryan make it in his new life, and can there be a future for two people so scared of a relationship?

I would recommend reading these books in order, just for all the back stories, it will just make for a much more enjoyable read. LOVED LOVED LOVED this book!!

Better Together – Bree Kraemer

4 out of 5 stars

Better Together by Bree Kraemer is a fabulous read! It is book 4 in the Cedarville series. It could definitely be read as a standalone as there’s a lot of detail and information in order to piece it all together but I would recommend reading the first three first. I never read the first two before reading the third and found it easy to follow along with but I wish I had read them in order so I could have read Melanie and Leah’s story on a more personal level. Book 4 follows Ryan and Addison, two characters who were introduced in previous books which left me really intrigued, I was more then ready for Addison’s story and it didn’t disappoint.

Ryan has always lived a very scheduled life, always planning far ahead, he’s not one to make big life decisions on a whim but he does just that when he decides to move to Cedarville. He’s tired of the big city life, the work, and being lonely, plus he wants to be closer to Reed. Now that he’s taking care of him with Carly’s help he thinks it’s best to move closer to him to make that transition easier. Now that he’s moved he can’t stop thinking about Addison, she’s haunted he’s dreams since the first time they met and now he’ll get a chance to finally get to know her. Addison has always been a loner, never having many friends until she met Carly. Friends and lovers have burned her in the past, which has left her guarded, but Ryan makes her want to try once more. He’s everything she wants in a man, will she finally let go of her fears and let him in or will she let love pass her by?

I really love that the books in this series don’t just focus on the main characters; the supporting characters play a huge part in how the stories unfold. The friendship that Addison, Carly, Melanie and Leah share is really admirable, their supper funny women with hearts of gold, always looking out for each other with their brutal honesty. The relationships between the other couples are completely honest and relatable, all going through situations that most do. I loved Ryan and Addison together; they had so many similarities and really complimented each other. This is a series I would highly recommend to all the romance lovers out there.

Better Together – A Cedarville Novel Book 4 by Bree Kraemer – 5 stars

Better Together can absolutely be read as a standalone, but I highly recommend reading this delightful series in order because it’s best to fall in love with the series as they are written. Cedarville is an idyllic small town where everyone is welcome and everyone knows each other. In a previous Cedarville story, Cedarville was described as a town where “everyone knows everyone else and people were nice, like really nice. Almost nauseatingly so.” (Sounds like a great place to live). The Cedarville Series is built around a core group of friends and their adventures.

This is the story of Addison and Reed. Addison is an excruciatingly beautiful girl who grew up without friends because “girls are either intimidated by her or think she is going to steal their boyfriends” – that is UNTIL she meets the girls in Cedarville. Reed has been working very hard in life to build a career as an attorney. He is lonely because he works an unbelievable number of hours each day and doesn’t have time to be social. He is the typical city boy. Addison and Reed meet and while each feels the spark, they ignore it and go about their lives. Their friends see things differently and this is their story.

Here is one of my favorite quotes of the story: “Ross and Rachel made it work…and so did Ted and Robin”. “Those are your examples? Seriously? They’re characters on TV shows. Plus, Ted pined for Robin for years.”

This is one of those feel good romances with little angst, drama or conflict. It’s to the point and delightful to read. I’ve mentioned this before, but I would absolutely recommend this series to my mother.

A 5 star read for Better Together, A Cedarville Novel #4 by Bree Kraemer. This is the fourth book in the series and I could not wait to read this one… We have seen plenty of chemistry between characters in previous books and this one is definitely packed with it also. This is the story of Ryan and Addison.

One day Ryan Ball is a single guy and the next he is responsible for his nephew after his brother and his wife die in a car accident. He knows that he can't do this alone so that brings him to Cedarville, Ohio, where his nephews aunt/ half sister lives also. The town has something special going on because after only a few days, he knows that this is where he should be and decides to pack up and move and start over. It doesn't help that a sexy Addison Scott lives there.

Addison Scott is a sexy, single, gorgeous woman who up until about a year ago, didn't have many if any friends. When her brother joined the Cedarville gang, Addison was brought right into the group. She now knows what she was missing having friends and people to rely on. When she sees Ryan, she is immediately attracted to him. She has had some pretty terrible relationship/ sexual experiences in the past. Will she be able to put the past behind her and start fresh with Ryan? Or will her past keep her from opening her heart?

I absolutely loved not only this book but the entire series. It has been great seeing how the lives of the characters have evolved. I look forward to seeing what else Ms. Kraemer has in store for us all!!! This book is highly recommended along with the entire series. I guarantee that you will not be disappointed!

Better Together by Bree Kraemer is the fourth book in the Cedarville Series and it was amazing! While you could read this a standalone, I would recommend reading the previous three books in the series. The books are amazing and will provide some background knowledge of the series. Bree Kraemer has created a wonderful series, that only seems to get better with each book, and this time it was no different. I absolutely loved this book, another amazing 5 stars.

Ryan Ball's life changes the moment that he took in his nephew. His brother and wife are killed in a car accident and now he's taken his nephew in. He decides that going to Cedarville is the best help he needs, what he doesn't realize is that, in going there for help, he'll end up moving his life there. When he meets Addison Scott, he's not sure what to think of her, they have chemistry and an attraction that seems to jump off the pages. He's not one for relationships, but with his life changing in more ways then one, would it be so bad if he fell for her? He knows he won't be giving up her up anytime soon, so now what is he going to do?

Addison is a sweetheart, she knows that Ryan is going through a lot and being thrown into parenting his nephew. She doesn't want to add any stress to him or take him away from his nephew. She's sassy and has a smart mouth, but with that comes her big heart and beautiful personality. Addison has some scars from her past, can Ryan be the one to change that? Can they have their happy ending?

This book was SO good! I absolutely love this series and I can't wait to see where Bree Kraemer takes this series!

Better Together (Cedarville Book #4) by Bree Kraemer
5 Stars

Better Together by Bree Kraemer is the fourth book in the Cedarville Series. I wouldn't recommend reading this before the others but it is about a different couple but the previous couples are involved quite a bit. Told in dual POV we see Ryan and Addison rolling with the crazy fast feelings they have.
Ryan is a planner. He never does anything without planning it out and it being perfect. When he gets custody of his nephew, and then needs to split custody with the boys half sister, he realizes the distance will be tiring and not good for a child. Also there's a woman who makes him feel something more for the first time. As he tries to date Addison, he is enjoying relaxing and trying to make a life for himself in Cedarville. When he makes big decisions without talking them through with the most important person, it very well may blow up in his face. Can he prove they are better together or has been independent for too long?
Addison isn't used to genuine friendship and has a major fear of sleeping with a man since the first couple of men didn't even call her back. Embracing her feelings but also trying to guard her heart, she still falls fast for Ryan. As they learn to navigate their new relationship, they hit communication snags along the way. Can Addison and Ryan come together and make this work or are they moving too fast?
I so loved this series and all the characters in it. Everyone's story is so different but one thing stays the same, they all love each other fiercely and are all learning still in their relationships. This is a must read series!!

Better Together
By Bree Kraemer
5 stars!
I couldn’t wait to read the next instalment to the Cedarville series and I was not disappointed at all! This book is definitely better read after book 3 as we meet Ryan and get his back story in that book. I really liked Ryan in that story and absolutely loved him in this one! He really is such a lovely character! I loved the relationship between him and Addison (who is also introduced in the previous book). They were probably the cutest book couple ever! They were both so naive in the dating world so it was lovely to see them exploring this relationship together. The scenes between them were really sweet and tender – but as always there are few steamy encounters too! I think this was the perfect story for Ryan and Addison!
I have read a few books by Bree Kraemer and one of the things I really like about this author is how well written her books are. They are just so easy to read – her characters are likeable and you feel like you are reading about real life situations. Once I started this book I just couldn’t put it down. I love that the characters from past books are still included as secondary characters so that you can see how their lives are progressing. I think probably this was my favourite (even though it is really hard to pick one) of the series, I just completely fell in love with Ryan and Addison, both as characters and their story. It really was a lovely book to read!
I can’t to read more from this author – her books really are a joy to read!

Better Together (A Cedarville Novel #4) by Bree Kraemer
Rated 4 stars

Addison is completely freaked out about having any type of feelings or relationship with Ryan. She has had bad experiences in the past and doesn't want to ruin a good thing with Ryan plus there is little Reed to consider if they did break up. Finally she pulls up her big girl panties and decides to take a plunge. Thank goodness she has the help of her new girlfriends to give her sage advice about certain things in relationships. I enjoyed the texting between Carly and Addison referring to being a liar with pants on fire. Very cute!
Ryan is just as nervous as Addison. This was interesting to me seeing his side of things and how he feels about certain stuff that pop up. While Addison has the help of the girls.....Ryan gets the guys and all the help they can give him. I love reading those...guy relationship chats. Very informative! Ha ha!
Speaking of their friends. This seems like a tight knit group. Ryan was worried about feeling like an outsider but they made him feel very comfortable. So he felt like he fit right in. And of course everyone loves Reed. I love seeing all the couples again. Their interaction with each other is phenomenal. I love that they are all there for each other no matter what.
I really enjoyed reading Ryan and Addison's story. I got a glimpse in the last book and looked forward to it. The title of this book works perfectly also since the two of them are better Together.
To the author....Thanks for sharing these wonderful people with us.

Book Review: Better Together (Cedarville Novel book 4)
Author: Bree Kraemer
FIVE STARS
Better Together (A Cedarville Novel Book 4) by Bree Kraemer is the fourth book in her A Cedarville series. This is a stand alone book and I started here but I am going to go back and read the other three books too.

The Story line between Ryan and Addison is steamy and conflicted and full of twists. Can they figure out things and make it work before they lose each other? Both have pasts and both want to overcome, now they just have to make it happen. Now they have to learn to communicate with and trust one another. I was rooting for them from the first time they met.
This was my first book by Bree Kraemer and I am going to go back and start the Cedarville series at book one and read them all and see what I have been missing. I am so thrilled that I read this book. It is a truly heartwarming story with a happily ever after.

Better Together by Bree Kraemer
Five Stars

Better Together is the fourth book in the Cedarville Series by Bree Kraemer. This book can be read as a stand alone, but then you would miss out on so many wonderful things from the first three books. This series gets better with each book. I love how Ms. Kraemer builds on characters from previous books. You learn how their lives are progressing. I was hooked from the very first page of this hot sexy romance.

Ryan Ball’s life changed forever, when his brother and sister-in-law were killed a car accident. Now he has co-custody of their six year old son, with his friend Carly. While trying to figure out the best way to raise his nephew, Ryan comes to the conclusion to give up his job in Baltimore and move to Cedarville. When he was first visiting Reed before moving, he met Addison Scott. The attraction was instantaneous, but since moving she seems to be ignoring him. Addison is kind of a loner with a few friends. She is afraid of making a commitment. Ryan is not comfortable dating either and with the new pressure of moving and finding a job and getting to know his nephew he tries to ignore the attraction he feels.

As they work through their fears, will they start trusting each other? Will they start communicating to see they could make relationship work? Will they find their happily ever after? You need to get this book to find out and I highly recommend you read the whole series in order. I love Bree Kraemer and can't wait to find out she in store for us next.

Better Together (A Cedarville Novel, Book #4)
Bree Kraemer
5 Stars

Better Together by Bree Kraemer is a five star story that I absolutely adore. I have read all the Cedarville stories and enjoyed them all. It is not necessary to read the other books because this is a standalone story but I believe if you don’t you miss out on how wonderful the town is.

Ryan Ball’s life has just changed, his brother and wife have been killed in a car accident, and he becomes guardian to his 6 year old nephew Reese. He decides he needs to move his nephew to Cedarville, Ohio, there is family there that can help, and he also loves the people and the town. He wants to give his nephew more then what he and his brother grew up with.

Addison Scott is sweet, but has a smart mouth to go along with her sassy sweetness. She is used to being alone and never really had any friends until she moved to Cedarville. She has been taken into a group of people who have become really great friends; they accept her for who she is.

Ryan and Addison have chemistry but Ryan is unsure how dating works with a child and Addison has the scars from previous relationships. Between the two of them they have a lot of baggage; will the both of them be able to overcome their road blocks to really give each other a chance?

I loved this story just as much as the previous books, the characters have so much depth and evolve so much from beginning of story to the end of the story.

Addison hasn’t had the best experience when it comes to dating and even worst at holding on to a relationship. She’s scared to take any relationship to the next level until she can figure out why she sends men running for the hills after. Now that she’s finally got the friends she’s always wanted, she doesn’t know if she’s ready to jeopardize her friendships to date Ryan, whose always perfect and put together. So until she figures it out, she’ll admire him from a distance.

Ryan’s uprooted his entire life to care for his nephew. And what better place than close to the beautiful Addison who he can’t stop thinking about. Tired of working himself into exhaustion and missing out on life, he embraces the new slow pace of Cedarville. Now he just has to convince Addison that he’s worth risking it all for because he’s just what she needs.

This is the first book I’ve read by the author I’m definitely going to go back to start at the first book. I liked that the conflicts were resolved like adults and they actually talked to each other, you know like adults. I enjoyed the easy banter between the two characters. The supporting characters made me want to know more about them as well. I definitely recommend this book if you’re looking for an easy read between two people who aren’t as experienced in love trying to figure it out.

This is the forth standalone book in the Cedarville Series.

Better Together (A Cedarville Novel, #4)
written by Bree Kraemer
4 stars

Reading about Cedarville and the close group of friends makes me want to pack up and move. You will fall in love with this tight knit group, their friendship, support, sense of family (blood or not) and the magic of falling in love that this town seems to make happen.

This is the fourth book in the series. There are many references to the past that are mentioned in previous books, but you will not feel lost if you start with this book. I'd recommend reading the first three so you can understand the dynamics of everyone and the struggles they went through to get to where they are to enhance this story...but it's not necessary. I'm just the type of reader that needs to start from the beginning and read the series in order.

Addison is very independent and just breaking out of her shell. She hasn't had a lot of experience dating and any that she has ended quickly and left her confidence and self esteem very low. After her brother Tony introduced her to his girlfriend and her friends she has started to want more for herself. Wanting it and being brave enough to go for it is whole other story.

“No thinking. That’s what your problem is, you think too much. Take the leap and just decide.”

Ryan had met the people in Cedarville through a very unique situation. Ryan plans everything out, doesn't stray from his itinerary and was not looking to make any life altering plans. Yet, after he visited Cedarville for the first time he knew he needed to go back. There was something about the town and it’s people that drew him in. He knew he wanted more from life and was hoping Cedarville held the answers.

Better Together By Bree Kraemer is the fourth book in the Cedarville Novel series. I wouldn't suggest reading these books as stand alone you need the backstory with all the characters to truly understand how they all fit together into one big dysfunctional family, and how Cedarville Ohio is the little lake town that brings everybody home. This book follows Ryan Ball a young professional who lives in Baltimore MD. Who regularly works 60 hours a week. Though that all changed when his brother and his wife were killed in a car accident leaving behind their son Reed. He decided he is going to help raise him along with Carly who is technically reed’s sister. His moving back might also have something to do with a certain leggy brunette he felt instant attraction too the first time he saw her.

Addison didn’t know what to think about Ryan moving to Cedarville especially after their last encounter where he just disappeared. Is she going to be able to resist temptation or the lust she feels just looking at him? She doesn’t really have a choice because as soon as Ryan moves into Carly’s home he becomes a part of their family just like everyone else but she can’t easily allow herself to give into temptation as she feels she is bad at all things bedroom related and Ryan has no clue how to have a relationship. Can they overcome their fears and love each other or will they be unable to see past their differences?

Better Together by Bree Kraemer is book four of the Cedarville Novels. This book is the story of Addison and Ryan. Even though all the characters are from previous books, this book can be read as a standalone alone but I recommend reading books one through three first to enjoy the whole series.

Ryan Ball has spent most of his life working and trying to be perfect for everyone. One tragic event turns his life upside down. Ryan finds himself taking in his nephew and he knows he can't do it alone. The only people that can help him are in Cedarville, Ohio. Ryan knows this move would be good for more than one reason.

Addison Scott is tired of pretending to be who everyone wants her to be. She is going to make decisions for herself, not caring what anyone else thinks. That includes feeling how she feels about Ryan even though she's terrified. She is sure that there's no way a relationship with Ryan would work based on her past and she's not willing to put their friend’s in the middle.

Can two people who aren't familiar with relationships make one work with each other? They both have a lot to learn when it comes to navigating new relationships. Can they be better Together or will their inexperience tear them apart?

This book was written in both Ryan and Addison’s point of view. I absolutely loved this book. I love that you got to experience Addison and Ryan's relationship with them and still follow the rest of the Cedarville gang as well. I absolutely recommend this book but if you want the full experience you should start with book one.

Better Together is book four in the Cedarville series and I really enjoyed it. This is my first book by Bree Kraemer and I easily fell into the characters and feeling of living in a small town. I didn’t feel lost and read this as a standalone. The dual points of view is a definite plus. I will definitely go back and read the first three books and am looking forward to more from this series. It’s heartwarming, touching and easy to read. There’s not a whole lot of drama or craziness in the story. It’s just about two people trying to learn how to have a relationship when they’ve never had the desire before now.

Ryan Ball has decided that foster care is not an option to his newly orphaned nephew. He knows his part as an uncle and is ready to give Reed the love of a stable home that he needs. He is moving back to Cedarville to keep that stability for Reed and co-parent with a family friend. It also helps that there’s a beautiful woman, Addison who captured his eye from moment he met her.

Addison Scott felt the attraction the moment she was introduced to Ryan. She has issues to overcome before she can let herself be in a relationship with him. He also has a nephew that she can’t help but find adorable.

Better Together dealt with issues of intimacy as well as self-assurance. This couple found solutions together and yes, were better together. Beautiful story of strength and love.

Better Together is the fourth book in the Cedarville series by Bree Kraemer and I hope not the final. I have loved this series from the beginning and was happy to reunite with my old friends once again and I was more than thrilled to see what they have been up to. The writer’s style and the characters just work so well together.

We catch up with the Cedarville group and as always there are changes happening. Ryan is moving to Cedarville so Reed can grow up around his big sister Carly and her friends and family but to also give him the childhood he and his brother never got. He was only doing it for Reed and himself, Addison has nothing to do with it. At least that is what he keeps telling himself.

Addison didn’t have it as easy as you would expect growing up. Her family was great but she really didn’t have any friends and guys were stupid and it lead to her having a ton of self-doubts about herself. She is too attracted Ryan and is scared to death but is she willing to look past all the voices in her head.

This is just a fun and loving group who open their group and heart out to everyone. I really hope this isn’t the end of the series. I hope we are able to find more friends who need to love.

Better Together by Bree Kraemer is a Cedarville Novel and the fourth book in the series. It can be read as a stand-alone but you are introduced to the characters in the third novel. Bree Kraemer takes ordinary life situations and writes about them so everyone can understand what others go through. The character’s she writes about are friends or family members that have their own problems that they think they can handle on their own. In Better Together, Ryan moves from a busy and fast placed city to the more laid back and peaceful country setting to co-parent his nephew, Reed, with Carly who is his older sister. Ms. Kraemer takes everyday choices that are made by people and shows readers that there are others that care about them and are friends for when they are needed. Not only does she write a fantastic story about how someone can love one another, but how they can love others as well. Her writing shows compassion for others and that everyone can have a happy ending and find an everlasting love that time won’t let go. Take a walk with Ryan and Addison as they discover that some things are just in fact better together. Trying to fight fate and the feelings that they feel for each other doesn’t always work and in the end, love wins.

Better together by Bree Kraemer is the next book in the Cedarville book series. In this book you once again meet Ryan Ball and Addison Scott. Ryan is the man whose brother and sister in law die in a tragic car wreck and his nephew Reed survives. Ryan and Carly (Carly is Reeds aunt) become Reed’s caregivers. Through Carly’s relationship with Tony you meet Addison who is Tony’s sister. Addison is a gorgeous woman inside and out and with her beauty comes jealousy with woman. Addison has learned to stick by herself and not trust others. Carly and her girlfriends have slowly pulled Addison into their group. Once Ryan moves to Cedarville to be able to co parent with Carly easier (and on a side note he LOVES the town) he finally has to admit that he has feelings for Addison. Unfortunately just like in real life both Ryan and Addison have their own baggage and feel uncertain about starting a relationship. There is a concern of how their relationship would impact their close knit friends on top of Reed who is only 6 years old. Can they both get past their own insecurities to find happiness? Will they be able to make a family that has a huge supportive family that is made up of their friends? This book was such a fun read that was enjoyable from beginning to end!

Simply amazing. This book was really sweet. I have enjoyed this series and I think this one is my favorite now.
Ryan Ball is a living dream. He is a sweetheart and now has taken his nephew in to help raise and works tremendous amount of hours each day at his job. He never takes time for himself and now that he is raising his nephew he wants to have time for him. He is getting help from his nephew’s sister and her boyfriend so that helps him a lot but he wants more and now it is time for some changes in his life.
Addison Scott is a beautiful woman and she is tired of people always seeing her as that. She wants someone to love her for her not for her looks. She is a sweet lady and now works for her brother and is loving her job. She is kind of shy and doesn’t have true friends until her brother introduces her to his girlfriend and she introduces her to her friends, so now they are a close bunch of women.
This book just blew me away. It makes you believe in love and shows people how it feels to be loved by someone. It also showed us how it takes good friends to help out with anything and they definitely did that in this book. The friendships are just amazing.

Better Together by Bree Kraemer is the fourth book in the Cedarville series. It is the first one that I have read but that didn’t matter. The book welcomed me in like old friends (the ones who live in Cedarville)!

Ryan Ball has a choice to make, one that is not really hard for him. After his brother and his wife died in a car accident, he became the legal guardian for their little boy. He can’t do it all on his own. He works a lot of hours so he gets the help of Carly. The only problem is that they live many miles apart.

So, Ryan makes the decision to move to Cedarville, Ohio where he can live with Carly and Reed, until he can get his life situated and find a place of his own (and a job). He never did anything so spontaneous in his life.

The one factor he doesn’t want to take into account: his attraction for Addison Scott. She was beautiful and caught his eye, though he knew there was more to her than her pretty face. However, neither of them were good at dating. Plus, there was a little boy to think about. Ryan and Addison have to decide if trying to make a relationship work will be worth it while not affecting Reed.

I really enjoyed Better Together by Bree Kraemer. Readers will root for this couple and the little boy who has taken their heart! He will definitely take yours too!

Happy at last

Addison is a beautiful young lady who has been judged unfairly by other women. She's never had a lot of friends so she cherishes the ones she has. Ryan is a young man who has changed his life around to take care of his nephew after his brother and the mother die. His brothers ex\ his friend Carly has stepped up to help raise Reed. During one of visits, Ryan meets Addison and starts to fall. He doesn't want to start anything because he lives in another state. That all changes when he moves to Cedarville, Ohio to be closer to Reed and make changes in his life. Can Addison get past her terrible experiences in relationships? Can Ryan and her find a way to have the future they both want? I love this author and her amazing stories.

First thing I have to say, is this is a must read series starting from book one. I
have feel in love with each and every book. Meet Ryan Ball, When he brought his nephew Reed, to Cedarville to ask for help with him from Reed's half-sister, he never thought he would meet someone who he couldn't keep out of his mind. Addison had always been friendless until meeting Leah, Melanie and Carly but never thought she find a man who wouldn't run from her because of sex. But the two of them meet and sparks are igniting between them. But nothing could come from it since he lived 500 miles away. But something made Ryan make some changes in his life , moving to Cedarville was the one that meant the most to him. Book #4 of this series is sweet, yet also hot, happy and sad, wonderful and fantastic. This is one of the best series that I have I have ever read and I read a whole lot of books. I hope to read the rest of the series since I have fallen in love with them.
