Chase attempts to leave, but the water is too high, and Magnus's body floats past. He decides it's best if the three of them wait it out until morning. Reese shows herself to Chase and the kids, and she looks rough.

Mackenzie and Zach head upstairs, and Zach disappears into the old-time, in which Augusta is calling him Bram and leading him through the woods. Together they are trying to find Malthe, who is in the lake, and he pulls Augusta into the water. She tells Zach, "set us free." Meanwhile, Reese comes onto Chase and is speaking very cryptically. As she attacks him, he begins seeing flashes of her as his grandfather enclosing someone in a wall with bricks. .Mackenzie sees her mother and has a flashback of her in the hospital. Her mother and grandfather are discussing Blaine's blood and how he needs to get better. Nex, Chase's flashes turn into his grandfather muttering the word first while holding a baby Mackenzie over the water

Chase has to deal with the burden that the lake people want Blaine blood, I'm assuming they want the firstborn, but it hasn't been obvious yet. This one was a little confusing to me; I feel like I need to draw everything going on out on a map on my wall to keep it clear. I like the speed and flashes a lot. It makes for a unique horror story!
