Breeze is trying to keep a low-profile, hiding out at Pirate’s Cove Marina near Nags Head. When he discovers a sex-trafficking operation being run out of a large yacht, he’s hesitant to get involved. He can’t do anything that will divulge his location. Eventually, his conscience forces him to act. That decision sets off a string of calamities and creates a trail of dead bodies in his wake. It also adds another name to the list of those who would like to see him dead.
Way to go Ed! This was great! The ending was up to the standards have come to expect from your books. I sometimes wish I could read slower. Started yesterday morning and finished by bedtime. I couldn't put it down. Ready for the next Breeze. Also why didn't he change the name of the boat? Thanks Perce Paxton.
Ed, you keep getting better and better! My problem is I can not put his books down! Man, I have to eat and sleep sometime! ! ! Your books are always worth 5 stars! Thank you for these adventures, even if they are by proxy!!!
Breeze is such an independent cuss, no wonder he gets in the scrapes he does. This one is bigger than most and you're kind of wondering the whole way through if Breeze, Marie and Jean are gonna make it. Love it!
I really enjoy all the Breeze books and this was no exception. I thoroughly liked Marie's involvement in this one, especially at the end! Please keep them coming?! The only bad thing about reaching the end is knowing it will be awhile until the next! That's meant as the best compliment I can give!!
I've been a fan of Ed Robinson's books for a while. I lived in Florida for a while and enjoyed crossing paths with some of Breezy's haunts in the Sunshine state. But the Outer Banks was home and where I grew up. Nags Head, Manteo, and the places like Sam and Omie's were home to me. So, I appreciated when when Breeze showed up. This is a great read. In fact, all these books are worth the time you spend with them. Come take a look.
Any fan of Meade Breeze knows he's a conundrum wrapped in a boat bum's fame. I know a few people like this, we call them salt of the earth people. They will always stand up for their right to be themselves, whether you like it or not. Fantastic day job for a very talented storyteller.
Breeze is back ! I was happy to see Breeze more "A"-political. Amazon blocked a couple of my last reviews due to my language. I love Breeze and the author. Covid has touched our family so I'm a little sensitive to flippant attitudes. At any rate, this Breeze had excitement, different ports of calls and strategies. Thank you Ed
Ed Robinson continues to bring the grit in his books. I almost feel like I've met Breeze. It was fun seeing the Outer Banks thru Breezes eyes. I especially enjoyed his descriptions of the areas around the Outer Banks. I have many fond memories of Manteo and my trips there during the late 1980's.
As a woman reading a “man’s” book, I feel compelled to love Breeze but know I would never want to live with him! I have read every book in every Breeze series. Keep ‘em coming Ed Robinson! This book is more concentrated on current events and politics but luckily I share most of Breeze’s views.
I really enjoyed this book of course he's always in some kind of trouble he steps in shit and comes out smelling like a rose. Wouldn't we all like to live life breeze.
This was another in the series, as usual it was wonderful. I'd suggest it for anyone who likes adventure, a little romance, mystery. It has it all. Thanks again for yet another wonderful book about Breeze!!
While reading this book, i heard Ed Robinson had passed away suddenly. Just like how it happened with my own father. I have have one more to read to finish the series to date.
As a cop and a boater who has spent a lot of time in Florida cruising both coasts and the Bahamas it is refreshing to read the areas Breeze and crew visit. It takes me back good job Ed.
This is one of the best books in the series. The Breeze character has become “real” to the point of total believability. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series.
We never know where the life of Breeze will take us. Don't know about y'all, but on for the full ride! Billyrob Robinson Belleview, Florida ( Formerly from Apalachicola)
Well you did it again. Believable story line, characters new & old were all great. Glad you kept Marie & Fred. Waiting impatiently for the next book. Thanks
I love how this book takes place around the outer banks. Every new book gets closer to my home on the Chesapeake Bay. Full of adventure and suspense. Nice job Captain Ed!
Having read every previous book I am still in awe that the author brings the plots and characters to life in every book which makes me a huge fan.. THANKS ED
Long live Meade Breeze! An inspiration of a man. Living to be free. A true freedom loving American. Highly recommend this series of Breeze. Looking forward to more!
I chose this rating on my enjoyment of the book it's contents and bring able to see the people and places. Have not been disappointed yet. Keep up the great plots and opinions.
