After the night she had dreamed of with Gage Chloe learns some harsh truths before it all goes black
This eighth part to the story of Chloe and Gage picks up at the end of part seven with them in the hotel room and in bed together. Chloe is ready and Gage is giving in to his own feelings and opening up to her, just as she is to him. After their night together the next morning is Chloe's big interview for a new internship with Nicholas Cove at Cove Capital. Gage has gotten her a new suit delivered and a new briefcase, so she is feeling strong and her mantra is making her feeling like she is going to get the position. But she finds herself back on the street a half hour later as things did not go as she had expected. Gage was right about Nicholas Cove's intentions and he was blunt about it. To get what he was offering she would have to betray Gage. Was she willing to do that?
She finds herself back in Brooklyn at the same coffee house that Grace was last seen at. Only this time she does spot Grace coming out of the door with a couple coffees. She follows Grace, as she does not look like she was kidnapped or anything. But when she finally calls out to Grace and Grace turns around she takes off instead of coming towards Chloe. Of course Chloe takes off after her and just as Grace is about to close a door on her Chloe manages to wrestle it open. But she will quickly be faced with something she never wanted to see and learns some things that not only confuse her but also repulse her. As this is all going on Gage is negotiating with his brother to invest in his company and being distracted because Chloe has not texted him back But when his sister lets him know of information he is determined to find Chloe as he knows she is in danger and she does not have any security with her. Will he reach her in time to save Chloe as her world goes black? We will have to wait for the part nine to find out.

Wow, I have read some of the other installments and loved them and I love this one too. We start to learn what happened to a few of the characters. I seems that we have more action and drama in this book with obviously more to come. LOVED IT. Cannot wait for more. Although I am not a big fan of the installment series because I hate to wait to see what happens but since I am hooked I will just have to accept it. Great book although very very quick of a read.

So so so in love with this series! I felt like we had to wait so long for this eighth part. But even though we waited so long I felt like I fell right back into the story. Chloe and Gage has this undeniable love. A love that can change a man that seemed to be unchangeable. This part was eye opening and of course we are left dangling from a cliff! I hope we don’t have to wait to long for the next part.

Edge of my fingers!
Strict is so shifty. It goes from one character to the other. But it keeps you on your toes. I love how it shows the depth of each character. I truly love their connection. I can’t wait to see how he’s going to get her out of this!

Excited to see what happens next in this series! Great book. Gage and Chloe has made great progress in their relationship. I hope someone finds Chloe in time! Waiting patiently for the next book in this series!

Este deberia ser el mas emocionante porque es el encuentro de Chloe con el asesino de su hermana gemela y comollego alla ??
Saliendo de la entrevista con la competencia directa de Gage o sea en la empresa del hermanastro se sienta en una cafeteria y ve a Grace. la sigue y llega a un tugurio donde casualmente ella vive con Brandon, el asesino de Cassidy. pero alto !!! ....
(A verrrr..... Aqui hay algo que no cuadra ... En el libro anterior 7 Gage le dijo a Chloe que le puso un rastreador en el telefono por eso el sabe que esta en el San Clemente.... y ahora en este 8 se arrepiente de NO haberle puesto un rastreador en el telefono como penso .... Pero la que SI se lo puso fue Willow en el bolso para saber donde estaba y si estaba con Gage. Cuantos bolsos tiene ?? solo uno ??)
Total, se le pierde a Gage y el piensa que "debio" colocarle el rastreador y Willow confiesa que ella le puso uno en el bolso para saber cuando estaba con el para interrumpirlos cada que ... ejem... los celos toxicos de Willow salieron a flote....
La cosa es que esta atrapada en la casa con Grace y Brandon le pega en la cabeza y Gage nada que llega con a ayuda del rastreador de Willow que convenientemente (cof cof) le puso ...
son detalles pero psss... se pifio ahi la autora y la editora no estaba atenta a esos detalles. Por eso las 2 estrellas....
Sigo. me quedan 2 y san se acabo !!!
