Fascinating guide to modernising legacy applications. This is very much applicable to any sector (and was certainly my experience of core platform banking transformation). The book reads as a how to guide on approaching the problem, assessing merits and approaches to transformation, and gives key decision making criteria. I would have liked to see a little more on specific public sector issues and how to navigate these (this is a fascinating application of this work), especially how to navigate the political will and financing agile transformation in mammoth organisations. Great read, I very much recommend it if this interests you! An important contribution towards accessible, effective, transparent, and modernised government (and digital government!)
