Three more standalone time travel novels that can be read in any order.
The Final Life of Nathaniel Moon - Nathaniel is born with unimaginable powers and insight. When he tries to use his abilities to help the world, he and his family must go into hiding. In time, he is faced with an impossibly choice - reveal himself to the world or let the unthinkable happen.
The Emancipation of Veronica McAllister - Veronica lived a quiet, almost-wasted life. When she died in 2018, she opened her eyes in her eighteen year old body in 1958 with all her memories intact. If you think you know what is coming, can you live your perfect life?
The Changing Lives of Joe Hart - Joe wants to make the world a better place. Stop John Lennon from being killed, do the same for his friends who died in the eruption of Mt. St. Helens. Before he can save others, he needs to save himself.
If you have made it this far, you know the premise for the series-all I can say is that each book is better than the one before. I love the “tie-ins” to all the other stories and time lines. What may seem like an insignificant item in one life becomes the entire source of someone else’s life experience. I thoroughly am enjoying the series and highly recommend it!
The Changing Lives of Joe Hart is the most heart-warming of all the MF series
This novel is the most heart-warming of all the Middle Falls series, as it is a bittersweet take of discovery and personal redemption. It doesn't push the continuous resetting of life angle that other stories in the series do but it does focus on one important life changing event for us all.
I really hope there's more in this series. I'm completely hooked. I love the characters, the writing style, the original take on time travel...everything. Once picked up it is so hard to put down. At the end I feel sad that it's over too soon. I hope this series keeps going forever!
I love the concept that people get a chance to come back to improve how their previous lives didn't bring happiness or contentment. We all hear of people dying, it's sad but we never have the insight into that person's personality or their history or thoughts on life. Well written Shawn!
I was so disappointed and excited when I finished book 6. Disappointed because the series was so good - and I didn’t want it to end. Excited because book 7 was already available! Off to download it right now!
Read these books! Add these characters to your family.
Read these books and find believable characters in unbelievable situations. Nonetheless, these books carry hope and love through them. Who doesn’t need hope and love in their lives?
I cannot express how much I’m enjoying spending so much time in Middle Falls. Each book has been so well written and heartwarming. I love the subtle mentions of characters from the previous books sprinkled throughout. Please keep them coming!
I absolutely hated the Nathaniel Moon story, which felt wildly out of place with everything else in the series before and after, a thin new-age Jesus stand in that felt more in line with super hero comics or religion.
The other two stories were fine. Made for a decent listen.
I read all six. All six are amazing! I laughed, I teared up. Wonderful premise. How many times did I wish I could go back and redo? Each story was unique but I think my favorite is two last one maybe because in the end it is selfless.
These are wonderful books that are hard to put down. Lots of action, some romance and plenty of feel good. Lastly good stories involving mans/woman’s best friends, dogs!
I am enjoying this entire series so much! And I love the way they all tie in together. I have a hard time putting these books down. Kudos to you, Shawn! Please never stop writing more!
