What a phenomenal short story, that will leave you speechless with the outcome.
Nick and Sydney are amazing characters and take you on a shocking journey. They have their future planned out, but things happen that change the paths they thought they would take.
This is a must read. I'm still in shock with how this story ended.
First of all, I really liked the cover that was selected for this book. This short story held so much emotion and uncertainty throughout. It was a terrific read and made me want to know what will happen next.
Syd & Nick are on a journey to their future and things are complicated. This story brings you the beauty and simplicity of first love and a healthy dose of the things we do when we are young. I am left needing more of these two and their story in a very good way!
This is one of my all-time favorite short stories by Author McMillan. It is packed with pure heart-felt emotion. I instantly became attached to the characters. This is a couple I hope to see more from in either short stories, novels or novellas - I want/need more of their journey.
This is a tricky situation but I got to say that I’m with Nick, this is just a bump on the road and I’m really hoping Sydney and Nick can overcome it together.
