I’m going to start prefacing all of my series finale reviews with “everybody got what they deserved” 🤣🤣 it’s always so hard writing a review for a series because there are sooooo many moving parts and I may as well rewrite the book if I’m going to go into that much detail in my reviews. I will say that Antionette is top tier with her writing. Her stories always have me in a chokehold and this one was no different! While every single character got on my nerves at one point or another this was a THOROUGHLY entertaining series and I loved every minute. I’m low key disappointed in Kriton and even though I understand why things went the way they did, I still stand by the fact that he was genuine when it came to Rarity but hey, that’s the nature of the business!

Where do I begin?
This was a lot and while I’m not surprised with the outcome, I was hoping for a slightly different result.
For the entirety of the series I was team Swan and Rare, well I didn’t waver on Swan. But Rare 🙄… Rare, Rare, Rare. I understood her actions until she reacted and treated Pria the way she did. I HATE when a woman is threatened by another woman and instead of owning their stuff- they project it to the other person. Especially when it involves a man.
In my opinion Pria was the better woman. She was smart, confident, and didn’t need Real. She wanted Real. Of course she made missteps, like sticking with him and knowing his ass was flaky. During that bathroom interaction between Pria and Rare- I lost respect for Rare. Pria hadn’t done anything to get that energy, but Rare let Sonia gas her up and she was wrong.
In the end, Kriton and Pria deserved better. So maybe everyone got was they deserved. Real and Rare weren’t worthy of them. Although I really really like Real. He, Kriton, and Swan were the realest.
Another great series by the author. At this point I’m deeply embedded in her catalog. Her stories give me all the feels even if I’m so anxious because these characters are stressing me out 😂🤣

This three part series gives the reader everything they would want in a urban fiction book. The ongoing struggle of Real to become his own man in spite of his fathers endless interference keeps you guessing if can do it. Swan and O’Shea keeps you guessing if they will ever get together. Rarity was not my favorite character and I wonder can she keep it real with herself.

All I can say is wow... This book just brought so much to the table and dropped it all there... I didn't know how to feel about a lot of things that went on... I felt so deceived because everyone was not what I thought... I thought I knew the characters that I liked and didn't like... Then the real them was brought out and I was second guessing myself...
Rarity was dealing with so much trying to survive and just be happy... Yet those that she let in her life just kept hurting and deceiving her... She had to become strong pretty quickly because it was no longer just her... She had Truest to think about... I was really hoping that her and Kriton would be able to finally get it together and be together... He really cared for her and would do anything to be with her... I mean look how long he waited for her... He always went out of his way to make sure she was good... Yet Rarity just wouldn't let him all the way in because she was still in love with Real... I just wanted her to move on and be happy... Because Real sure moved on already... Then for Real to talk to her and treat her the way he did once he found out about True was totally uncalled for... I get he was upset that she didnt let him know about True... But come on ...She had good reason... Plus Real had moved on with Pria and was planning on settling down with her... So why be all in his feelings about Rarity and what she was doing and who she is seeing... I wish Rarity would have just stood her ground with him... She should have given Kriton a real chance... I get that after she found out a few things about Kritom that she looked at him a little differently because she was not sure if his intentions were true or not... But she could have found out... Plus come on Real has done way worse than that and she kept just forgiving him... Why not do the same for Kriton...
I don't really know how I feel about Real... I mean I like him but then again I don't... He thinks the world revolves around him... He can hurt Others feelings but the minute they hurt his feelings then all hell breaks loose... So he can dish it but he definitely can't take it... And why does he feel he has the right to control Rarity and who she is with... When he has a whole woman... I am like you wanted to move on overnight right... That is why you hurried up and got with Pria right... Then do that and leave Rarity alone... But no because over 1 year later and you see Rarity with the next man and now you are in your feelings... Not only that... You go out of your way to be in her space just to treat her like trash... Boy Bye... Sit down somewhere... Rarity just needed to co parent with him and let him move on with Pria the way he wanted... So he could live in his own misery... Because in the end... We see how much Pria could really handle... I mean I could go on and on about how I feel about Real... But I need to stop now because I would end up writing a whole book about how he made me feel... Ugh
As for Knoxx I keep going back and forth on my feelings for him... And I still do not know how I feel about what happened to him... And I dont know how I feel about the woman that he was dating either... But it is what ever...
Oshun proved me wrong... I have to give him that... Because he did what he had to do to keep Swan safe... But I am glad that he was finally able to get what he deserved in the end...

Kriton was a good guy... He had good intentions... And was really feeling Rarity... unfortunately his lifestyle and his family made it hard for him to prove himself to her... And in the end he looked like the bad guy... I just really wanted to see Rarity end up with him in the end... Because I do not feel that Real deserved her at all... but hey who am I to say that...
I guess once all the dust finally settled... Everyone found some type of peace or happiness...

Got to give Sherell her props... She brings the Drama!!
I gave four stars for that. I was pissed for about 89% of the series but, I couldn't stop reading.
Alright let's get into it.
Let me start by saying I absolutely LOATHED Swan & Rarity!!!! These bi**he's got on my nerves!!!!
Knoxx, Oshun & So'Real were toddlers. I couldn't stand any of them.
War, Sonia, & Yashira were the highlight of this series for me.
My boy Kriton was everything. He got caught up in Rarity's bullsh*t & ended up exiled. #JusticeforKriton
I see the author flipped things so that Talena could be blamed for everything & the heat could be off of Swan so that she looks like the better option for Oshun. But, to be real, if Swan had been where she was supposed to be Oshun wouldn't have lost his future.
Swan caused everything that happened to him. Oshun ended sleeping with Swan & then stayed with Talena, & gaslighted her for the remainder of their relationship. Talena deserved better.
What can't you say about this dude Knoxx. He manipulated Rarity into a relationship just to knock her up & giver her an STD at the same da*n time. He betrayed Real, & held hatred in his heart for War. By the time he got over what he felt & things he'd done, it was too late.
I didn't like that the author had War shoot him just to keep him alive so that he could die from an infection. Like what was the point?
Rarity was worse than Swan. How many kids grow up in the gutter & hope some rich person shows up takes them in, puts them in a very good private school, letting them live in a condo instead of a dorm room, while paying your way through college & anything else you may need?!?!
All this chick did was throw it back in Wars face by fu*king his sons & running away with the same mom who was using you to rob a dope boy to get more drugs? Like chick... Ungrateful much?!
When Knoxx told her how he felt about her, she should have been honest and said that she was always into Real. Instead of just settling for Knoxx & playing in Real face with his brother because she thought he rejected her. When really he just didn't want to make a move on her because she was young.
Real & Knoxx would've been happy & probably had a better bond if Rarity wasn't in their orbit.
I felt bad for War because it seems like he really did love Sonia and wanted to work it out but, he did the exact same thing that his sons did & waited until Sonia was happy with someone else before he decided to make his move. And unfortunately for him it was too late because shes happy with the new guy.
Sonia always called everyone out on their bullsh*t which is why I loved her.
I really felt bad for Yashira because she actually truly loved Knoxx and he was probably going to have a future with her and now all she has left is his baby. I found it to be a little weird that the author didn't give any type of insight on where she was at the end of the book considering that her baby is part of the family.

On one hand, I understood why she was dating Real in the beginning but the minute she saw that he was into Rarity she should have used her brain to protect herself, instead of letting her heart to take the lead. I mean being that she's 4 years older than him, she has enough wisdom to know not to put yourself in that kind of line of fire.
Needless to say, just like Oshun did Talena, Real gaslighted Pria their entire relationship. He used her as safe place to land because he hadn't sorted out his feelings for Rarity. I hated him for that & I was disappointed that Pria allowed it.
It really pissed me off that Rarity & Swan got a HEA. They didn't deserve it.

War will never learn. He put the business before everyone and then wanted to sit in sorrow when no one wanted to fool with him.
Rare shocked even me but that baby had that dawg in her the whole time. She is cold in her own right. Being pure and innocent will get erased quick when you’ve taken up and through.
Knoxx got exactly what he deserved. I just feel bad for Maddox and Yashira. She really loved Knoxx.
Swan and OShun has me on the edge of a breakdown. Lawd the suspense was unraveling me. Pria did her job though.
Speaking of, Pria and Real had me yelling at my phone. That office scene had me spitting fire.
Real should’ve always followed his first mind. He knew off rip that Knoxx wasn’t loyal. He knew he should’ve worked harder for Rare and he knew he should’ve established boundaries with War when it came to his life and the business, but he always held back. I was so happy when he bossed up on War.
Go head on then Ms. Sonia and Ms. Unie! Both ladies made War feel it in his chest. As they should!!!

Yooooooo from the very first book from the very first word this book had my full attention. A little repetitive but nothing to take away from the story. It was so much back stabbing and double crossing that my eyes stayed 😳. The War family had some serious issues and I was waiting for it to all to crumble but somehow they made it through 🤷🏾♀️

The Realest
Even though part 3 was my least favorite I will say this author can tell a story. Part 3 was the finale but how it ended I can see a spin-off but I’m good either way. I loved the character development from each character and loved that each one went and accomplished their dream especially Swan and Oshun. The little clues the author dropped to acknowledge certain parts I missed at first but once I completed the book I saw everything unfold and felt slow lol but great series and I recommend

I'm sad to see this series end I loved the relationship between Real and Rarity. Knoxx was a hater he didn't want to see them together so he made a move, but couldn't be faithful. He would break Rarity's heart every chance he hot and feel no remorse. I loved Oshun and Swan he loved her with no limits. I can't believe Kriton I was rooting for him smh. Definitely worth reading job well done Antionette Sherell. You never disappoint me always will be one of my favorites. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Keep them on their toes the entire time. Have their emotions all over the place. Have them ready to cuss you out. And leave their jaws on the floor once it’s over. You did that do you hear me! This book was worth all of it! Had me up until 5am because I couldn’t put it down! Phenomenal

I enjoyed this series and was sad to see it come to an end. I’m glad that Real and Rare finally got it together. I loved Swan and O, I was glad Talesha became a non factor. Kriton.... I think he may be lightweight obsessed with Rare. I’m sad for Maddox his dad did so much damage it was inevitable to meet his demise. I got so much more to say but I’ll leave it at GREAT READ

Great Series
Still was full of drama, lies, secrets, betrayal and deceit. Throw in all the twist and turns and I couldn't put it down. Was glad to see the growth in these characters and they finally got it together. Knoxx, got exactly what he deserved. The way everything turned out and that ending was why this was a great series. Good series
It’s always hard to let go of old characters and get into a new set but you made it easy with this series. There were so many unexpected twists in book 3. Karma came rolling through like a wrecking ball. So’Real had me shaking my head at his indecisiveness, War lost a good one, and Shun had a hard time prioritizing things. The ladies bossed up. Rare grew so much from book 1 to 3. Great series!

This series was absolutely everything. Let me just say I have never read a book where allllll the characters got on my damn nerves. Lololol. At some point throughout the series I was just like shoot em all. I loved every single minute of it. There was a lot of growth by the end of the series. This series was absolutely everything. Let me just say I have never read a book where allllll the characters got on my damn nerves. Lololol. At some point throughout the series I was just like shoot em all. I loved every single minute of it. There was a lot of growth by the end of the series. I will say I was rooting for Kriton from the beginning to the end. Great job! P.S. I hate Knoxx.

What a series! This was such an amazing series. I enjoyed every single book. This one was well worth the wait. So much went down I didn’t know which way was up but I was so satisfied with the end. This author knows how to write a series, that keeps you in suspense and begging for more. She is ONE of the best writers out there and this three parter showed that. Great read!

I'm glad that Real and Rare finally got it together after all the obstacles placed in their way. I do feel that Cree was a lil sneaky especially since he knew that Kritton was still alive but I guess that explains why he wanted that phone from Rarity to keep him from trying to reach out to her. Over all this was a good series.

Knoxx lies, backstabbing, scandalous, and conniving ways caught up with him. O'Shun found out Talena jealousy lead to his mishap. He was furious when he found out. While dealing with Talena and her mess. O'Shun learned him and Swan secret was out and that Swan had gotten caught up and her freedom was at stake. Pria knew she couldn't really deal with So'Real lifestyle. She also was in her feelings when Rarity popped back up. She should have kept it moving. Rarity knew trying to deal with Kriton was going against the family. She was also holding a secret from So'Real that had him questioning her loyalty. Kriton was trying his best to keep Kino and even Mateo alive but Kino was hard headed. Kriton also did the unthinkable to Rarity. I was shocked at the ending

Loved series. The way the characters developed and matured over the books. War was a selfish mess but he loved his grandson. Real and Rare are finally trying to figure it out. Osh in is a quiet storm. They momma was a whole mess. She really got her groove back.

Love the Real and Rare are together with a family and Swan and O finally got got together. Knoxx was just hard headed and grimy at times. I would've love to hear about the baby Yashira had with Knoxx and Madoxx. Sonia said forget War she's married with a baby the way.

Okay, Cree. I see you're working to line them pockets. Kriton was not my favorite but I didn't dislike him. He shouldn't have did Rare like that. Rare loved hard and when she seen people she didn't judge. That back fired on her. Like they say, when a woman's feed up. War is just a mess.

Intriguing family
I just finished reading all three of these books. I enjoyed each book. The story of War family was interesting like most families they have their good and bad. It's amazing how family ties can easily be broken by one person. It was nice to see the growth of the family.

Loved the whole series! The end of this one was a little ah to me until we got to.... spoiler alert... Kriton being alive!! That was a turn that I didn’t expect! And he was still trying to get at Rare! Anyway, great series! Amazing book! Phenomenal author! Five stars all around!

If I could give this series more than 5 stars I would. Real and Rarity im so glad that they finally got it right. Knoxx met his untimely death but I think he knew that this was his way out. Im glad that Swan and Oshaun got it together. Great read !!
