Kate is everything Felicity wasn’t. And no matter how wrong I know it is, I can’t help the attraction that sparks between us.

Gosh, what an emotional and engaging read and I loved it so much! Extended review will follow soon.
Thank you so much Megan for providing me with an e-arc of your upcoming release. My opinion is entirely my own and not influenced by the fact that I got an arc in exchange for me leaving an honest review
I don't know what it was about this story that grabbed my attention. I haven't read the Salvation series and this author is new to me. And the story isn't something that I would normally gravitate to. But for some reason this one had me wanting to read it.
Dead spouses are one of those hit and miss subjects and I always get nervous reading them, especially when there are children involved. So I am really stunned that I signed up to review this except that the blurb was so well written, I just had to know how it was going to play out.
I had a few moments where I wasn't sure if the time line worked for me between his wife’s death and him moving on. I didn't really have an issue with the fact it was with her estranged sister, just that it all felt like it happened so quickly and honestly I would have had some major trust issues after just finding out my wife of ten years had been having an affair. But this stranger turns up saying things in direct contradiction to everything you have been told about her and you take it on faith, just didn't work for me.
Kate and Shane together worked for me and I liked them together. I felt their connection and I liked that they were sensitive to the kids feelings in their interactions and relationship. And if the timeline had been a little longer I probably would have been happier with everything. Overall this was a good read and I liked the story I just didn't love it but that was probably me and the fact I couldnt take my focus off how I thought he should have been feeling given the short amount of time.
I’ve just finished reading this and I’m sitting with a big grin on my face. I absolutely adored every word of this story. This is one of those stories that suck me in from start to finish. It’s 1.45am and I’ve just finished it. I couldn’t put it down.
Shane is left devastated when his wife asks for a divorce. Before he can deal with it she dies in a car accident leaving him with their two daughters. Kate is a lovely character. She hasn’t had it easy. She gets more than she ever thought possible when she shows up for her estranged sisters funeral.
GENRE: CONTEMPORARY ROMANCE. AUTHOR:MEGAN GREEN. TYPE: STANDALONE. POV: DUAL POV...FIRST PERSON. MY RATING: 5 "BELIEVING IN FAITH" STARS.
Shane has his life upside down in just a few days. First, his wife of ten years confessed of having an affair with someone else and then her sudden death in the unfortunate accident. But he has to hold himself in check for his two daughters who need him to be strong. At the same time, His wife's twin Kate visits the town and she has no idea of her sister's demise. Kate and her sister's relationship was not the best. Shane has only heard bad things about kate but when gets to know he ...she came out to be nothing like that. At this time of his grief, he finds his solace in Kate but is it too soon for them to be in a relationship especially considering she is his wife's twin? Or will their insecurities will ruin this once in a lifetime opportunity of love?
This was a really Slow burn Romance...a painful one on top of that. The angst.. the forbidden love...the emotions ...feeling they keep on fighting until it trump over their stubbornness. The situations in this book were so Raw and emotional...
There was also cameo from characters from other books...Liam And Natalie ..also Arabella...The emotional support they provide to Shane made me tear up a lot. Loving his dead wife's twin is not easy for him as the guilt keeps on eating him from the inside. But who can question the fate? They were meant to together. Kate's life was not easy but she finds a friend and a partner in Shane. I love that this was not an instant love story. We get to see them fight...we get to see them make up...hell it was an angsty ride but soo worth it!!!
A delicious enemies to friends to lovers book which will leave you gasping for breath...
Faithless is a story of redemption and find the faith when you lost it. It’s a beautiful story between a widower and the girl he should of married. The sister in law he was poisoned about, not knowing the truth The heroine Kate is estranged from the family because her family made her to be. Even before we truly get into her head, we see there is strong opinions floating around about her by the people that should be in her life . However there is a shining light, Kate seems to be put together and well respected in her career. Shane is caught up in grief and I don’t blame his initial reaction to the situation. There is two sides to every picture and Kate lost her faith when she was young. They both reclaim theirs through finding love and rebuilding the broken world they end up co-existing in. True colours show very quickly and it’s mostly smooth sailing with a bit a drama towards the climax to really make these two ready to face everything. Green wrote a beautiful journey and I do feel sometimes, you just need to take the time and wait . As true love can bring miracles like it did here.

Corinne Michaels’ Salvation Series is one that I’ve read some books for, but not all. When then”world” was announced, I was curious about not only about the stories, but about the authors as well.
In Faithless, we meet Shane (a child of the original series) just as he goes through one of the toughest situations ever. I was a bit leery of the set up for this book, but Ms Green has the characters address the “ick” factor and made it easy to root for them.
He is paired with Kate. I liked how she was someone who had gone after her dreams and was frustrated on her behalf for the lack of family support she received.
Faithless is not a long book and because of that, there is not a ton of back story. Shane’s story is a bit more fleshed out, but there were still things that I wished had been addressed. I was left with a lot of questions about Kate and what exactly the issue with her family was about.
Overall, this was an entertaining read. I remain curious about the original books that I haven’t read and the additional Salvation Society books.
From the first page I knew this book belonged in the Salvation Society book world. It had all the feels of a Corinne Michaels book with the angst and drama. Megan Green was a new to me author and I was not disappointed with this book. Her writing was amazing the way she brought her characters to life. This book had all the vibes of the Consolation Duet which happens to be a favorite of mine. I loved the drama and angst, the chemistry and all the feels.
I especially loved seeing my favorite sexy man from Cole Security and how much mature he has become. Liam and Natalie still have that fire and I loved the devotion they had for their children.
This book is not one you want to miss in the Salvation Society world. And I will be picking up more books from Megan in the future.
My first Megan Green book and it had me with the Single Dad trope. When Shane Dempsey's wife told him she wanted a divorce he didn't thin his life would be the same, until his wife died in a car accident a few days later. Now his alone with two kids to raise on his own and he doesn't know how to move on. Until his wife's sister comes back into his life and things become even more complicated. But can he risk his heart again to another women and his wife's sister to boot🤔
This book was emotional and my hear broke for Shane and all. Oli wanted was for him to find happiness again. And Kate was ust what he needed and maybe wanted. I was hooked with story and loved every sedond of it. Heart wrenching and sweet and romantic if that's your jam😍😊
Faithless is an emotional and riveting story written in Corinne Michael’s Salvation Society. It’s no secret that Liam has always been my #1 in the Salvation series, so to say I was excited to read Shane’s story is an understatement. This is the first book I’ve read from Megan Green and I really enjoyed it.
No one ever expects to have their world turned upside down, then ripped apart like Shane and his girls have. Having his wife of ten years sit him down and tell him she wants a divorce because she’s in love with another man was something he never expected. Becoming a widower and single dad to two little girls wasn’t either, but here he is doing just that.
This book will bring out every emotion known to man in you and prove that we have no control over what our hearts want. Most people would frown upon the relationship between Shane and Kate, but Megan does a wonderful job showing just how magnificent their love is and that it doesn’t matter what anyone else thinks. My heart broke for Kate and how her family treated her. I just don’t get how parents can act that way towards their child. Faithless is a wonderful addition to the Salvation Society and I highly recommend it.
Shane thought that the distance between him and wife was due to the demands of their life until she told him she loved another man and wanted a divorce. Still reeling from that bombshell his wife passes away suddenly and now he finds himself not only trying to handle the emotions he is feeling but trying to help his daughters heal as well.
Kate had always been on the outside looking in when it came to family which created an emotional distance they have never been able to bridge. Finding out her sister passed away without being able to heal their relationship was painful enough but meeting her nieces makes her realize how much she missed out on.
Kate and Shane become close not only over their shared grief but because of the love they feel for his children. The more time they spend together the deeper the love that they feel for each other becomes and along the way they may just help each other heal from the past. This story takes you on an emotional ride as you feel for what both Kate and Shane have endured at the hands of those that should have loved them and there is no one more deserving of happiness than this couple.
Shane has gone through so much pain in the matter of a few days that no one should ever go through whatsoever, but he has to stay strong for his kids through it all. Kate is his wife's twin who comes to town, and their first meeting, he was horrible to her since his wife made Kate look really bad. So yeah, it wasn't easy at first, and honestly, it doesn't get better for a cool minute. See, these two really clicked but there's the whole dead wife's twin situation, so the guilt is overwhelming which made for a very emotional slow burn journey. And I'm not saying that it wasn't perfect that way because it came off very realistic in my eyes as this is that type of situation that would be hard for anyone. It also made for a story filled with angst & other emotions throughout. Now, if you want to know if they could get past all those issues, you'll have to hit those one click buttons, but be warned Faithless will do it's best to shatter your heart. HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL!
This book makes you question your own ideals and judgement, it really had me wondering what I would have thought and if I would have been a judgy-mc-judgerson. It makes me realize that I hope I wouldn't be because you never really know what people are going through until you are in their head and Shane is the perfect example of this. This man was put through the ringer, but when he then meets someone that might things brighter, how would it ever work out?
All in all this book was just wonderful. It was angsty, emotional, and a really well thought out story. Everything fit perfectly in it's place and unfolded in a fluid motion. I really enjoyed this book and give it 4.5 outta stars- great job to the author!
PS: Thank you to Megan Green and Candi Kane PR for allowing me an advanced copy of the book to read and review honestly!

Read and reviewed for Sultry Sirens Book Blog. Happy reading!
Oh this book had it all. Love, loss, lust, and heartache, but also compassion. Liam will never understand how his wife could betray him the way she did. Still upset and in shock the last thing he ever expected was to loose her. When the families try to help him with his kids he really wants to just loose it. What he didn't expect was Kate his wife sister. Kate and her family have been estranged for many years. Kate sister was always the favorite and so she had to go live her life. All Liam knew about Kate was the hate that her sister told him of. But when they meet and he allows her in things change. Not only that but then he finds out the truth of who his wife as and how his life has been turned upside down. Can Kate and Liam get past the past and be together or will he keep her out of his kids life. This story will pull at your heart strings.
Shane feels like his life has hit rock bottom when his wife Felicity asks him for a divorce. Becoming a divorced father of two ends up becoming even worse when a freak accident turns him into a widow. Adding salt into the wounds is Felicity's estranged sister showing up at the funeral. When Sane puts her on the spot the truth of the sister's hatred becomes known and he instantly feels a connection with Kate. But can you fall in love with your sister-in-law after to grieve for the wife who betrayed you? Can the connection between them spark more than just love and understanding? From the very first page, this book was an emotional journey that had me upset, laughing and sighing with happiness with every chapter that I read. Simply put - you do not want to miss this book!!
Shane is rocked to his core when his wife wants a divorce as she is in love with another man, but before he can accept the fact she is killed in a car accident leaving his as a widower with 2 young daughters. Kate arrives in town for her twin sister’s funeral and did not know that she has nieces or a brother-in-law. Shane had heard nothing but bad things about Kate, and as she gets to know his daughters, he knows that she is nothing like the persona she had been portrayed to be, and she is the total opposite from his wife. This is a beautifully written tale which is emotional and pulls at the heartstrings and is a sweet and moving poignant love story. I was captivated throughout this addictive page turner, and I highly recommend for all readers.
There were parts of the story between Kate and Shane that I enjoyed, and parts that really didn't work for me.
Unfortunately, the parts that didn't work overshadowed the parts that did. In my opinion, there wasn't enough time between the death of Shane's wife and the start of his relationship with Kate and for that reason, it never really worked for me.
Yes, things were bad between them, but his wife was still his wife, and she was still the mother of his children, and yes the things he found out about her absolutely would have changed his perception of his wife...but this book takes place days after her death and I really struggled with the timing of this one.
I fell in love with Shane, especially as a dad. He definitely had more integrity than I think I would have while having an shattered, yet angry, heart. His first reaction to meeting Kate was understandable, but I'm not sure if his acceptance was too fast because he knew when people have good character, or if he just really knew Felicity's character. I loved that Shane and Kate bonded over their losses, and Kate really needed a strong support in her corner. I think this story was sweet, organic, had a whole lot of pain, but full of love. I was so happy I read this one.
Whoa! This story had me right from the start! I felt every single emotion and it's heartbreaking not only for Shane but for the children as well. How do you start again when you are a widower with two kids? And how can you possibly due it after what your wife put you through? Well, as it happens that person that might help could be the wife's sister, Kate. Complicated might not be the best description but it gets close enough! This story is very emotional and I couldn’t put it down until the end!
Holy crap what an adventure! I could not put this book down and NEEDED to know what happened! I’ve always loved the emotion in which Ms. Green writes with. And we get back to some military ties with Shane! And Kate, oh man. My heart hurts for this beautiful woman. But in the end it ends up beautiful for her. And Gracie and Ellie seal the deal because I’m a sucker for any book with a child in it! I loved this story! So so much!
Wow! What an amazing story. This is the first book I read by this author but it won't be my last. The twists and turns with Kate being Felicity's twin took me by surprise but you can't deny the chemistry between her and Shane. He was dealt blow after blow but he is strong and I fell in love with his and his daughters. I couldn't put this down.
Faithless is an emotional and engaging enemies to lovers romance. Shane is the son of Liam and Natalie Dempsey. He’s a sweet and loving father dealing with grief, guilt, loss and anger. Kate is a successful journalist who was estranged from her sister and family. An enjoyable and intriguing read of loss, healing, hope and second chances.
Love, passion Loss and healing that is what this book gave me. I love a story that fills your heart with passion and warmth. This was a story that I couldn’t put down. An amazing addition to The Salvation Society. This is the first book I have read by Megan Green and it will not be the last.
