Taken by her Highland Enemy is during the turbelent time between the Scottish and English as a traitor is born...or is she? Isabelle, dressed as a boy, is giving information to Eamon, a brawny Highlander, who uses the information to warn his brother of a impending attack against his brother's village. With a trap being spun by a sadistic evil mind Eamon and Isabelle find themselves racing against time to save those they love, they find themselves spiraling down into a vortex of danger and mayhem in this heart stopping love story that unfolds beautifully with drama, searing passion, uncertainties, death and as the suspense builds and tensions escalate with the twist and turns abound that makes this one outstanding story!

Eamon Wilson trusted the young lad who was a spy on the evil Lord Cutler. The lad, who really wasn’t a lad at all, told Eamon Lord Cutler was after the man known as the Wanderer and the Scotts. Eamon knew he had to alert his brother Sean, the wanderer, and try to defeat the English army before they found Sean and his village. In the meantime the spy also advised Eamon to kidnap Lady Isabelle Cutler. Unbeknownst to Eamon the spy was really Isabelle. She wanted to help defeat her father and save the Highlander’s. Can Eamon trust Isabelle once he finds out the truth? Will they be able to save his family or will Lord Cutler win in the end? An exciting journey with a twist!

Isabelle does not like the way her father is treating the Scots. So she decides to do something about it. She is going to do whatever she can to change things. Her father thinks she is going to take over his business, she wants nothing to do with it.
Eamon needs to prove to his brother that he can be trusted. He will do anything to make that happen. When Eamon is feed information about the man who wants his brother dead, he sees his chance to make things right with his brother.
Definitely a must read.

Love Isabelle, so smart, so quick witted. I love that she challenges the men around her. Will she win Eamon's heart? A heart he feels is not worthy of being owned; not worthy of love?
Why did he leave his clan all those years ago? If he wins the Sasennach, will they continue traveling which has been Eamon's life for so many years? Or, join The Wanderer and The Scots?

I liked this book as all of Kenna's books, but the heroine was a little too outspoken. Even though the reader knew she had orchestrated her own kidnap, the hero did not and although he didn't want to kidnap her, he would never have allowed her to boss him around as she did. For one thing, his men would lose all respect for him. This was a bit unrealistic but I nevertheless enjoyed the book and would recommend it to a friend. Not my favourite of Kenna's, but worth a read and has a delightful ending.

Beginning a little slow but then pace faster. English officer's daughter on side of Scots because her father is so cruel. What will happen when she befriends a Scottish man? Will they have a chance for romance. Will they live when her Dad wants her Scottish friends dead? There are several love scenes. Received this book free in exchange for my review.

Action and drama until the end
What I enjoyed most about this story was the female lead, Isabelle, isn’t your typical damsel-in-distress. She actually got her hands dirty and risked it all by actually having the gumption to change her situation while saving the Scots. It was an amazing adventure!

Loved this story.Was a bit slow at start ,but made up as story went on.From mystery,and thrilling suspense with Isabelle coming together with a Scottish gang That Eamon was leader of.With a vivacious father that was real nasty and she wanted out.Wow really was a fantastic read.

A very good action, historic romance!
I enjoy good action novels with intelligent women and men. These characters were wonderful. As a father I am sorry her father was so evil. It happens all to often, but I feel for a child who is cheated in life. Good story, thank you, Jack.

What a fantastic book Isabelle and Eamons story is such an adventure her father is in charge of the English soldiers looking for the Scotts who killed the kings nephew he is an evil man and so many things happen in the struggle for freedom I could not put this book down loved it x

Women Rule
A well written story with two brothers, a daughter and evil father, friends and backup fighters, and family ties through them all together and a spell binding book is created. Life was hard but God always has a plan. Read action packed story. Enjoy the read I did.
