Somebody wanted to write a book about theme parks and decided to cash in on Jane Austen’s popularity. The only storyline was Austen’s, and it wasn’t well portrayed, getting completely lost in ridiculous detail about pin swapping and rides.
Do you remember the episode of ‘Friends’ when Joey was trying to learn a new game show? Yep, this book made that much sense in detail.
Even the name was dumb. It took me a while to realise it was a sign off, but the main character basically didn’t communicate with anyone other than in person (barring a few text messages). Weird

Audiobook: Sara Marks has re-imagined Jane Austen's novel titled, "Northanger Abbey". Of the four "21st Century Austen" series, this one was my favorite. I enjoyed how the author was able to weave the old tale into a modern one incorporating amusement parks and social media. Marie Caron's narration was fine and kept my attention. I was given a free copy of the audiobook, and I have voluntarily posted this review.

Disappointed
Stupid. It's just about amusement parks, rides, trading pins and social media and infatuation
