I have to admit, while I was reading it I was a bit confused why the hell I had ordered this one, but I think it must have been because I liked the mangaka's illustration I'd seen in a novel (and the doujinshi I read by her). And this story - about a blind massage therapist and a screenwriter was cute (I really love her art style, it's adorable), if a bit too fluffy and it didn't quite grab me. But it was sweet and entertaining.
Despite reading the first chapter some 7 years ago, I only got to finish this manga this year. Throughout the years, this manga's first chapter has stayed with me - maybe because it was one of the first BL I read, maybe because it was so thoroughly unproblematic. Whatever, the reason, this manga is a little special.
The art is right up my alley. Nothing striking or super beautiful but it's definitely nice to look at.
Though the manga is a little slow-paced, the romance is rushed - or at least lots happens off-page at the end. It wasn't much of an issue for me because I already knew this manga has a pretty chill vibe for the most part.
(Only could read 3/5 chapters since that’s all I could find translated.)
Two stars rounded up for the cute chihuahua. About a telewriter and the blind masseur he loves. (And a cute chihuahua.)
I’m not sure if the writing is poor or the translation I read (I suspect the writing), but while the story is cute, it’s a bit clunky. I wish I could have read the whole thing.
