On the outskirts of Laurel Cove, North Carolina sits a quiet lake tucked into gentle mountains carpeted with the brilliant colors of autumn. Grief binds the lake’s only residents into an unlikely family, where old and new love build a bridge between loss and hope.
For years, best-selling author Cora Bradford has worked tirelessly to tread the unrelenting waves of grief in solitude. That is until a new neighbor moves in down the road and threatens to disrupt what she’s carefully preserved of the life she once knew. Will God ever answer her prayer for peace and calmer waters?
Following a scandal, Pulitzer Prize-winning photojournalist Luke Bassett escapes to the one place in the world he’s ever experienced peace—his mother’s cabin on the lake where he spent childhood summers. But the memory of her and the mistakes he made are hardly peaceful. To make matters worse, he gets off to a rocky start with his bitter, but breathtakingly beautiful, neighbor. Was running away from the life he’s always known the biggest mistake of all, or the beginning of something he never knew he wanted?
Spunky, opinionated, and recently widowed Ina McLean is alone for the first time in over ninety years. When Cora and Luke come together to care for their only other neighbor, Ina’s belief in God’s goodness through life’s ups and downs works to restore their hope in learning to live—and love—again.
*All books in the Laurel Cove Romance series are stand-alone and can be read in any order.
Hi, friends! I write sweet Southern romances to offer moments of escape for busy readers who love love. My faith-friendly books have big emotions, relatable characters, and swoon-worthy happy endings.
Here's a little about me. I am a wife and mother transplanted from North Carolina now living in North Texas. I am a full-time communications and graphic design professional, working primarily with non-profit organizations.
Now to the important stuff… I love Jesus, coffee, caramel, and -- like you -- stories with happy endings!
"But in the midst of his sadness, he was indeed blessed. Blessed by knowing people who were worth grieving."
This is an incredible contemporary novel of loss, grief, regrets, and learning to live again. It's the second book in the Laurel Cove series but can absolutely be read as a stand-alone (those who read Someplace Familiar will enjoy the cameo appearance of Jake and Livy but their story is not necessary to fully enjoy this book).
From the first page, I was drawn into Cora's stifling and immobilizing grief and her flashbacks and dreams are so heart-breaking and bittersweet. She's an easy person to empathize with and cheer on. Luke is an amazing hero - so patient, loyal, optimistic, fun, and ready to figure out what he really wants out of life after being pummeled by personal grief and professional slander. Ina, their neighbor along the lake, makes the story sparkle with her 93 year old wisdom, insight, and unforgettable tender memories.
This book has it all - beautiful and lyrical writing, clever dialogue, wonderfully layered plot, and intriguing characters. It will make you cry ugly tears and happy satisfied tears and help you to hold onto hope and healing.
I received a copy of the book from the author and was under no obligation to post a positive review. All comments and opinions are solely my own.
Teresa Tysinger takes the reader on a heart-tugging journey of grief and the beauty of hope in Suddenly Forever. Luke and Cora's story will have you reaching for the tissues, praying as if they're real, and praising the balm new love brings.
*I received a complimentary copy from the publisher. My review was not required nor influenced.
Grief is something that is very difficult to rise above and, in this story, the main characters are both battling with grief of their own kind. It's a tender story full of times where grief had an overwhelming hold, and yet, there were beautiful examples of how love in action can bring healing. I loved reading about Luke and Cora and how they learned to trust each other and open up. Another fun part was with the spunky neighbor, Ina, who on her own, was going through grief. When these three got together it was a sweet illustration of community and relationships. Ina also came with a wealth of wisdom and deep love. I really loved a quote from her. “That’s the thing about loss, dear. Those of us left on this side of heaven must redefine ourselves. It’s the only hope we have of continuing to live in the here and now . . . Otherwise, we end up doing something that only resembles living, in a version of the past that doesn’t exist anymore.” WOW! What powerful words! The author has a wonderful way with words as she describes the setting of this story. I loved feeling I was right there in Laurel Cove on the lake gliding across as the seasons changed. I could also feel the pain of the tragic accident that plagued Cora. The author’s choice of words and descriptions were captivating and held me spellbound. Throughout this story, the author wove beautiful words of God’s healing and hope. This is what makes a book stay longer in my mind. Teresa Tysinger is an author who I’ve just gotten acquainted with and I look forward to reading more of her books. She is gifted and her stories are delightful. I love books where I come away with lessons I can apply to my own life. This story is packed full of life lessons. I highly recommend you pick this book up! I was given this book by the publisher which did not influence my review in any way, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
This book was so incredibly moving, I find it difficult to adequately describe how I felt reading it. Cora Bradford, best-selling author, lives in the small North Carolina mountain town of Laurel Cove. Cora is deeply grieving her husband who died in a car accident three years previously. Cora is plagued by nightmares that leave her shaking, and desperately seeking peace from God. She can't even begin to imagine a peaceful life again.
Lucas Bassett, Pulitzer prize winning photojournalist, has come to Laurel Cove to stay in his late mother's home after a scandal. The mother who he never made time to visit before she died of cancer. He, too, is seeking peace.
Add to these two, 93 year old Ina McLean, their neighbor who has lost her husband after 70 years of marriage. Ina is very fond of both Cora and Lucas and just may be the one to help them through their grief.
As these folks navigate the dark waters of grief and come into the warmth of God's healing, it is a beautiful thing to behold. My heart smiled as I read and cheered them on. I love it when an author writes so well that I connect so fully to a story.
The author makes these characters and their grief come alive so much so that my own heart hurt for them. Expertly written and most deeply moving, this one is going on my Top Reads List of 2020. I very highly recommend this book.
Some of the most beautiful prose, vivid descriptions, and lovely characters I’ve read in a while. start to finish, this book is thoroughly captivating with its dreamlike descriptions and lyrical flow. I thoroughly enjoyed every moment with Luke and Cora. Pour yourself a cuppa and grab a blanket for this perfect fall read!
I did receive an early copy of this book from the publisher, but all opinions expressed are my own and freely given.
“Grief was like a shipwreck, surrounding you with a chaos of debris on unrelenting waves.”
Oh wow. Where do I even begin to put my feelings about this book into words? Suddenly Forever took me through a whole gamut of emotions & reactions – from laughing out loud at 93-year-old Miss Ina’s interactions with swoony Luke to melting & grinning over swoony Luke’s interactions with decidedly-more-his-age Cora, to grieving with these characters over some tough losses in the recent past & present and wiping away a few sweet tears at touching reminders of God’s faithfulness.
I must confess – When I turned the last page, I didn’t want to be done yet; I just wanted to stay in this world with these characters and wrap myself up in it. The lake setting during autumn in a small North Carolina mountain community is pretty much my ideal happy place, and I fell in love with Luke, Cora, and Ina & their unexpected friendship that was forged in shared grief and became something even greater. The author’s poetic descriptions of the area, new romance, and grief itself just settled into my reader heart like a warm hug and held me totally captivated by the story.
And oh goodness. Luke’s natural flirtatious instinct is yummy on its own (and completely endearing when he turns it on feisty Miss Ina) but when he really sets his mind to flirting and falling in love with Cora?? Heaven help me. There was one moment in particular when I wanted to purse whomp him, but let’s face it, all he’d have to actually do is grin at me with an ounce of his charm in place and I’d forget why I wanted to purse whomp him anyway.
Bottom Line: In Suddenly Forever, Teresa Tysinger takes readers on a poignant journey through grief in its various manifestations & stages. And while she tackles it authentically, and at times with a rawness that made me cry, she also manages to keep the story from becoming too heavy. Luke’s aforementioned flirting and Miss Ina’s sass have a lot to do with that, but they also don’t take away from the honest look at deep loss – achieving just the right balance between meaningful and fun. Likewise, Luke and Cora’s romance is sweet and swoony (and so are their kisses), and I would easily spend a whole other book’s worth of time (or more) with these characters. One of my fave reads of 2021 for sure!
(I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book which I read via Kindle Unlimited.)
This was such an enjoyable read. In Suddenly Forever, all of the characters are all struggling with grief at some point. Cora Bradford lost her husband Christopher three years ago and doesn't quite want to let go, but meeting Luke and getting to know him makes it harder for her not to. There is definitely chemistry between the two of them, and Cora realizes that she needs to move on. I loved Ina and her spunkiness and brevity that she brings to the story. Very enjoyable.
If I could give this more stars, I would. This book was so beautiful and moving! I felt so deeply while reading. This story even made me cry, which is really hard to do. I’m sure that my words don really do this book justice, but it really is an excellent book! It is perfect for Fall! I felt right at home in Laurel Cove!
I was given a complimentary copy of this ebook from the author, but was not required to write a review. The thoughts and comments are my own.
Teresa Tysinger is a new Contemporary Christian Romance author to this avid reader. The theme of her page turning romance Suddenly Forever is LOVE bears, believes, hopes, and endures all things. Grief is a powerful emotion that different people process differently. As a retiree, I always enjoy a story with grandmas and 93 year old Ina reminded me of my mother. I enjoyed the fall lake setting. The imagery described of the lake, the woods, the emotions are implicit to how I would view life. I especially enjoyed when Luke and Cora found the red blazes and cairn (stone stack) in the small lake island's woods. What a wonderful connection with Ina. A love story for the ages that spanned so many years. Looking forward to read more Laurel Cove Romances by Teresa Tysinger.
Why do we run from God when His embrace is what we need most? Why do we try to manage—life, grief, joy, the good, the bad—on our own when He created us to need Him. And each other. Grief, when it comes, takes each of us on a different journey. For Cora, it was a journey inward, a journey of isolation. Ms. Tysinger portrays Cora’s grief vividly, masterfully. The nightmares, the routines—her saving grace—her disinterest in anything but [SPOILER.] Waging his own battle with grief, Luke steps into Cora’s life—and unwittingly into the role of guiding out of her grief. And Ina. I kept thinking of Hebrews 13:2 (Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some have unwittingly entertained angels. NKJV) Such a character. And such wisdom. Poignant only begins to describe this story. The journey from grief to living again is a shaky one, and Ms. Tysinger leads Cora through the minefield with realism and painful honesty. Told beautifully, the author portrays Father God’s healing touch, even in those darkest moments of our lives when we feel utterly distanced—abandoned even—from Him. PS – The island. Special place. Tender moments. Bittersweet memories.

A well written story with well developed characters, strong dialog as they help each other heal. This book had a wonderful cast of characters, and does a great job of showing how different people deal with loss. My favorite character was Ina, a recently widowed elderly woman who hasn't been alone in decades. I loved how Luke and Cora take Ina in and both take on helping her out, and spending time with her.
Overall, this was a well written read, more on the sadder side, though still filled with hope. I liked that Christopher's father was supportive of Cora. And I really enjoyed beautiful lakeside setting. A great book for fans of heartwarming romance who want something a little deeper for a change.
I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.
Suddenly Forever is one of the best books that I have read this year. The author captured Cora and all the grief she was dealing with perfectly. Another thing that she captured perfectly was Cora beginning to “wake up” from the grief she had been mired in for the past few years.
This story deals with some deep issues, yet the author has created such realistic characters, who experience happy times in the midst of their more solemn reflections. There are also so many humorous moments when Cora and Luke are becoming friends, and then more, that hit all the right “feels”.
I loved how caring Luke was toward Cora. He didn’t expect her to suddenly be over loving and losing her husband. He just hoped she could make room for him. Also, Cora and Luke reacted very realistically in some situations that were uncomfortable and it led to hurt feelings and the need to start over. I also liked the friendship that developed between Cora, Luke, and Ina.
This book and these characters will stay with me for a long time. Suddenly Forever is book two in the Laurel Cove series, but can absolutely be read as a stand alone novel.
I read a copy of this book on Kindle Unlimited. All opinions are my own.
I wasn’t sure what to expect from this book, I knew I wanted to read it but I didn’t know how much I would like it. I am happy to say that I really enjoyed it. Suddenly Forever is the second book in Teresa Tysinger’s Laurel Cove Romance series. Suddenly Forever was haunting and heartbreaking and yet it left you feeling hopeful.
Best-selling author Cora Bradford is struggling to live life, grief has taken everything from her. But when a new neighbor moves in down the road, will he help show her how to live again. Pulitzer Prize-winning photojournalist Luke Bassett is looking for an escape and finds himself in his mother’s cabin on the lake. There he meets his two neighbors who help change his life. Luke and Cora come together to help their spunky recently widowed neighbor, Ina McLean. And as they spend time together, they find the walls they’ve built start to crumble. But when life takes them though the storm, will they be able to weather it together?
Cora and Luke were both people dealing with grief, they were at points in their life when they wondered how they could learn to live again. This was such a heavy book and yet there were points that made you smile. It was sweet to read about Luke and Cora finding healing and falling in love. I loved the growth of these characters, they had gone through so much and were struggling to learn to trust God.
I liked the pace of this book, as Cora and Luke came together to help their neighbor Ina. All of these characters were learning to deal with grief and it was sweet to read about them turning to God for hope and peace. Cora and Luke had to learn to trust God through the hard times and what it meant to love each other.
Suddenly Forever was a beautiful book full of grief, but also full of hope and love. I would recommend this book to those who enjoy Christian contemporary fiction, but be warned it may make you cry. Suddenly Forever is a clean, contemporary, Christian book that deals with grief.
I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book which I received from the author. All views expressed are only my honest opinion, I was not required to write a positive review.
There is this thing healing and soothing about two people brought together by their individual grief, who understand what it means to loose someone or something very dear that it feels like some days you just don't want to get out of the bed. But healing also because the both of you are somehow on a journey to learn to live with the loss and move on. There is something absolutely unique and soothing about such relationships; meeting someone who understands loss and grief but who also wants to move on.
That's the story Teresa Tysinger takes us on.
How can a book be so deep, yet soothing and amazing. This one captivated me completely. I loved the flow of the story. Tha author's use of words was out of this world, the way she described things was simply amazing. The settings of the book and the way it was described was breathtaking, just like watching a movie.
I couldn’t decide which of the characters I loved more. Cora, even in the misdt of her grief was sweet, kind, and loyal. I admired her greatly when she stepped up to take care of Ina despite her loss. Ina! This feisty, full of life 93 year old woman brought all the fun into this book. It was hard not to love Luke! He knew how to lay the charm on thick in a loving way. His heart was kind, his actions noble. I admired his patience with Cora and how he protected her.
I loved how God used their grieving to bring them together to heal and find life and love again.
I highly recommend this book to people going through the grief of loosing someone. It is very revealing.
I received a copy of this book and this is my honest opinion.
Poignant trip down south for a tender, gentle romance as the seasons change over the land - and in the hearts of the heroes of the story. Fans of Nicholas Sparks' books will LOVE this...
Cora and Luke and Ina. All have loved, and lost. These three stories woven expertly together into a vivid family tugged at my heartstrings, made me laugh out loud - and cry more than once. Tysinger's descriptive storytelling sets a dreamy backdrop of autumn in the Blue Ridge mountains near a gorgeous lake for the romance of Cora and Luke - and their friend and romantic conspirator, Ina. True to life and not glossing over the pain of first loves lost, Tysinger's latest contemporary southern romance left an imprint on me. Love is messy, it *is* a rollercoaster of many emotions, infinite layers, steps forward, and back, alike. But when it is God to both heal hearts and bring hearts together, as beautifully written in Cora and Luke's story? Well, it makes for a memorable, impactful read.

Grief. It’s a fact of life. If you haven’t experienced it yet, you will. And like each individual, the way we grieve differs from person to person. Grief is the major theme in Suddenly Forever by Teresa Tysinger. And what a beautiful, lyrical way she lays it out, not skipping over the despair, loneliness, and loss, but giving us glimpses of hope that joy can come.
Cora is a character I couldn’t help but be drawn to. Her history, the way she’s stuck in it, her desire and hesitancy to move forward. All of it combines to create an emotional connection with the reader.
And Luke, oh Luke, such a patient and persistent man, allowing Cora space in her grief, assuring her of his acceptance of her past love, and caring for her in any way he can.
Then there is the town of Laurel Cove with its community, festivals, and autumn beauty. With her sophomore novel, Tysinger is proving to be an author to keep an eye on.

Suddenly Forever is the second installment from the Laurel Cove Romance series by Teresa Tysinger. Since this is the first book I have read by her and have not had the pleasure of reading Someplace Familiar, I believe this can be read as a stand alone. I thought it was a really good read. I enjoyed getting to know Luke and Cora. I adored Cora and felt as though I knew her and could relate to her. I loved the beauty of Laurel Cove. I could not ask for a better location or setting in a book.
I am going to give Suddenly Forever four stars. I recommend it for readers who enjoy reading clean and inspiring romance. I look forward to more from the Laurel Cove Romance series.
I received a copy of Suddenly Forever from the publisher. This review is one hundred percent my own honest opinion.
Tysinger's follow-up to her debut is even more beautiful and tender than the first. She delves deeply into her characters, bringing them to life. Her vivid descriptions leave your heart overfull. This is an author that won't ever disappoint.

My Thoughts: This is a story that the reader will not be able to put down. This is a story that has many twists and turns that keeps the reader wondering what is next? This is a story of letting go of the past, learning that it is ok to go on with life after losing someone. The characters in this story are ones the reader will fall in love with. This is a story of love, falling in love, and loving people for who they are no matter what they may be going through. It is about being family and standing strong for each other. Is it possible to find love twice? Is Cora Bradford willing to let go of her grief to find out? This is such a wonderful read; well written and the storyline flows so that the reader never gets bored. I look forward to reading more from this author.
This story quickly won my heart over with the town of Laurel Cove and fun characters. I had to laugh as I imagined my favorite character, 93 year old Ina McLean. She is the perfect addition to this sweet story of friendship and healing.
Main Characters Popular author Cora Bradford is still grieving the death of her husband three years ago. She seems unable to write and move on with life. Luke Bassett is a Pulitzer prize winning photojournalist who is working through the death of his mother, who he didn’t find time to visit before her death. He has come to her house to work through his loss and also a work-related concern. And of course the sweet little lady (most of the time) Mrs. Ina McLean, who is a major player in this story. She lost her husband of 70 years and is learning to live with his loss. Though there are also a few minor characters involved, Teresa Tysinger has created a story with a small-town feel without many players. Her vivid descriptions make this setting easily imagined. And of course that applies to her characters as well. Their emotions and actions feel right-on. Laurel Cove, North Carolina is a place I will anxiously be waiting to visit in her next book.
My Concerns None
Final Thoughts
It was only after I finished this book that I remembered it was the second book in a series. So obviously, it’s a standalone book that’s easy to pick up.
The well-written story that consists of the sensitive topics of loss and grief, and the ability to move on is handled thoughtfully. The characters will stick with you long after finishing the book. And the slow budding of three friendships, understanding and healing is not a book you’ll want to miss out on.
My thanks to Celebrate Lit Tour for the ability to read and review this book. I was free to express my thoughts.
Suddenly Forever is a stand-alone novel even though it is the second book in a series. I have not read the first book in the series and did not feel that I was lost.
I enjoyed the characters. They both have hardships to overcome and lots of emotions to deal with. I have to say that I think Ina is my favorite character. She’s alone after ninety years. I can’t even imagine. Kind of makes me think of Queen Elizabeth II with her recent loss of her husband. It’s one of those things that you just really can’t fathom or relate to unless you’ve experienced it.
The setting is wonderful and I found myself wanting to go and visit it multiple times.
Can these people overcome their grief and memories and find what true happiness is supposed to be? Can Ina be the influence they need even as they are taking care of her with her recent loss?
This is a great book and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

The second book in the Laurel Cove Romance series provides a deeply moving story about God and grief. Set in the mountains of North Carolina, I appreciated this story because I lived in the mountains of North Carolina. The devastation of losing her husband in a car accident causes Cora to grieve deeply. The pain of his past and a recent scandal causes Luke to seek peace in the place he felt peace in the past.
When a spunky senior citizen enters the mix, the power of God helps move Cora and Luke to work together. The imagery and emotions of this story drew me in until I finished reading. Truly, this story brought to life the concept of grief and peace. So check it out for yourself.
I received a complimentary copy of this book, but it in no way influenced my review. All opinions are my own.
This is a sweet book. I love the fictional town of Laurel Cove, NC. Imagining it and the people as I read the book. This second in the series is set around a lake. The friendship and healing that happens in this book is just beautiful. I found myself brought to tears at times. Following the death of her husband, Author Cora Bradford is still grieving 3 years later. Luke a photographer moves in to his late mother’s cabin on the same lake as Cora. They begin a friendship and shared grief over losing someone they love. They have a neighbor who’s in her 90s and doesn’t have any children of family to help her. I just adored Ina. Her wisdom and tender care of these two was so sweet. I Enjoyed this much anticipated novel from this author. I received a copy of this book from the author. All views stated here are my own.
4.5 stars A beautiful and poignant journey through grief and heartache to a place of hope. Cora and Luke made this story what it is through Teresa’s wonderful writing. And their first meeting, oh my goodness, it was perfect. I loved seeing Cora break out of her shell of pain and grief and take baby steps toward a future where she’d have to risk her heart again.
I love Ina. We all need someone like her in our lives. Despite her own grief and heartache, she’s a solid foundation for Cora and a wealth of wisdom on life. Could not have asked for a better mentor character. I love how naturally the story flowed. The character growth felt genuine and unrushed, a true testament of skill as Cora and Luke learn what it means to stop living in the shadow of the past and step into the bright future God planned for them.

Suddenly Forever By: Teresa Tysinger is a Christian Contemporary Romance. This is also part of the Laurel Cove Series. While this is book 2 - they are all stand alone books. I first read this author when she was included in a Christmas Wedding collection novel. I enjoyed her style and was excited to read this book.
One of the best things about this book is the author's descriptions of what is going on. There were a few times that I closed my eyes and could see myself standing by the lake watching the scene unfold. Cora is still grieving. This is such a present theme in the book. You could feel her hurt oozing off the pages. She has raw emotions and the author did not shy away from a difficult subject.
Luke is another amazing character. He also is experiencing his own sets of grief when he escapes to his mothers lake side home. When he meets Cora he is patient, empathetic and helpful. He has been navigating his grief differently and becomes a huge asset to Cora.
Factor in the older neighbor -and you have a fun trio. I really loved all of these characters. I love when authors tackle heavy subjects. The author does this beautifully. Her writing style flows.
I received a copy of this book through the Celebrate Lit blogging program -- all thoughts are my own.
Expertly draws you in from the first page and graciously carries you deeper into each facet of this entirely absorbing story. Profound, deeply moving, full of meaningful moments and quotes. I really, really enjoy this author’s style and tone. Compelling, inspiring, and simultaneously heart-wrenching-and-warming. Undoubtedly one of the best books I’ve read in this season; I am now totally hooked on this series! I very highly recommend this second in the Laurel Cove Romance Series.

This story is a wonderful example of letting go of the past and trusting God. I loved reading how Cora was a writer and the wonderful little town she lived in. The town had this feel of a welcoming atmosphere where you feel content. Cora has been through a great loss which she hasn’t gotten over yet. It’s been three years but Cora’s grief is still fresh and stops her from moving forward.
Luke is a great character who has come to the small town to get away from the chaos of his life. His job as a photojournalist was interesting and full of adventure as he traveled all over the world. His reason for returning to a place where he has fond memories will hopefully help him find a new direction for his life.
When Cora and Luke start getting to know each I liked how it moved at a slow pace. The author gives readers a wonderful story about forgiveness, overcoming grief and finding love again. My favorite character was Ina. She was an older woman who had much wisdom. I loved how she encouraged the blossoming relationship between our main characters. Her candid talks with Cora about loss was beautifully illustrated with grace and love. Through this story we see how God heals broken hearts and gives them hope. Ina was so special to this story because she not only helped Cora in her grief but shared her own special story with Luke and Cora. The faith element is good and reminds us that we are never alone.
I received a copy of this book from Celebrate Lit. The review is my own opinion.
This was a goodie. It's the second in a series and while there is an appearance from previous characters, you won't feel like you are missing anything reading it as a stand alone. The author did a really good job with the storyline and the characters. She wrote about a hard subject but did it with finesse.
Ina was my favorite character. I love the wise old grandmotherly type and she was just wonderful. Cora is hurting and just consumed by grief. Luke has his own past and hurts, but he's a great guy. What struck me most about him was his patience (though I did like his personality all the way around). Watching the growth and change was great and I'm glad I read this book.
4/5
Thank you to the author/publisher for the review copy of this book via Celebrate Lit. I received this book in exchange for an honest review and the opinions stated above are 100% mine.
This is a stunning, emotional story, of love and loss, grief and healing. Set in a fictional, but still feels like a real North Carolina town. Grief is so hard, and it's hard to think about, write about, talk about, yet this author did a beautiful job with it. Faith filled, I find the stories of Cora, Luke, and Ina to be excellently well written with realistic and powerful messages woven into their stories.
You might need tissues, but if you're like me, you will wind up smiling and refreshed by the last pages.
Thanks to Celebrate Lit for my copy of this book. This review is my own, left freely. A positive review is never required.
