CADE
My past is littered with questionable choices. I've made more mistakes than I can count. But two years ago, I vowed to be a better man.
When I meet Gia, my structured life shatters - And I'll have to decide whether I'm truly worthy of redemption. Can I protect a woman who has a guard up higher than my own, or will she end up saving me from myself?
Brittney Sahin began writing at an early age, with the dream to be a published author before the age of 18. Although academic pursuits (and, later, a teaching career) interrupted her aspirations, she never stopped writing—never stopped imagining.
It wasn’t until her students encouraged her to follow her dreams that Brittney said goodbye to Upstate New York in order to start a new adventure in the place she was raised: Charlotte, North Carolina. Here, she decided to take her students’ advice and begin to write again.
In 2015, she published her first novel, The Safe Bet. When she is not working on upcoming novels, she spends time with her family. She is a proud mother of two boys and a lover of suspense novels, coffee, and the outdoors.
Cade & Gia. She's the daughter of a hitman and he's a millionaire business man who first meets her in a strip club. But she's not a stripper - she 'belongs' to the club-owner & irish mob boss Rory. Cade is extremely attracted to Gia and does everything in his power to help her ...
But of course Rory is not letting her go without a fight. But Cade and the ex Navy SEALs he hires can fight back ...
Gia and Cade already met 8 years before ... just for a second ... He couldn't save her then, but he will do it now - even if it's the last thing he'll ever do.... But of course mobster Rory is not the only problem those two have to face!

Well, that was an adorable and exciting romantic suspense story. I already liked Cade in his sisters' book and now here he is with his own story.
I don't know if I was in a weird mood or too tired, but the beginning - the first page and the first chapter - wasn't my thing. It didn't flow at all. The sentences were too complicated to catch my attention. And that's what a book should do ... catch your interest with the first word/line/page/chapter ... but it got a lot better ... the beginning just didn't have enough flow for my reading tastes. ☺
The story was really interesting. I liked Cade a lot and it was all very exciting and insta and sexy and sad and moving and I really enjoyed reading it once I got into the story.
It started as a night out and ended with Cade King wanting to know more about the vixen and her connection to the Irish mob. She's everything he shouldn't mess with and everything he wants anyway. The daughter of a hitman and with a desperate desire for answers, Gia Callaghan let's Cade into her life, think he might just be able to help her. They have to trust and rely on each other, something neither of them is very good at, but for once Cade wants to help not hurt and Gia wants to let someone else carry the load. It should be easy, saving the girl, but Cade discovers that not everything will always go his way, especially if the girl he opens up to is willing to risk his life for her own.
"She's testing my limits. My patience."
I say it every single time, but that's because it is true. My Every Breath is Brittney Sahin's best work yet. Her previous books have been amazing, it's obvious the time and effort that goes into them, but MEB has all the good parts from her previous books rolled into one. There's engaging characters, a multi-faceted storyline, angst, drama, and just the right amount of suspense. MEB is really a perfect combination of romance and suspense, there isn't too much of either genre and it kept me entertained. In My Every Breath we travel to several places in the world, running from dangerous men and seeking answers to the heroine's questions. We are treated to guns, foul language, the threat of death, while also get some super smoking hot smut scenes and a heaping pile of emotions. It's descriptive, allowing the reader to see the locations and the characters, as well as really feel in the moment. I really enjoyed that My Every Breath developed from just a man seeking to save a woman, to a man allowing her to save him and together they help each other. Of course, none of it is that easy, but it's the character growth and the storyline development that works so well.
All of the evil. All of the hate. I want it gone. I just want him.
Cade King is, well, a King. If you've read Brittney Sahin's previous standalone, Someone Like You, then you'll remember Grace King and her need to control. If you haven't, you should. Though MEB is a standalone completely, for me I liked knowing the family completely. Cade is definitely even more controlling, in business and in relationships. He doesn't give up, he doesn't trust easily, and he certainly doesn't let go once he knows what he wants. In this case, that's Gia. I looooooveeeed Gia. Loved. She's naive, which could have easily not worked out well, but does in this book. She's cultured in the way of mob mentality and being more mature than one's age, but when it comes to romance? Girl is a hot mess. It makes for a very interesting romance storyline though, especially with Cade's well known experience. Their connection is immediate and things do move pretty fast between them, but not like Brittney Sahin's previous romantic novels. Though their chemistry is palpable, there's hidden agendas, a lot going on, and not a whole lot of time to really build something up. It promises to be interesting though and it definitely was. I liked them together, I would love more time with them, but I think their story worked out perfectly.
"'How else do you think I blow off steam?' . . . "I'm pretty sure there's more than one way."
For me, a good romance book isn't just about the romance. I like there to be some depth to both the characters and to the storyline. I need a plot, a fairly thick one that I can't quite predict. My Every Breath is fairly action-packed and open-ended enough that readers can imagine what more is to come for Cade and Gia. It surprised me, was suspenseful, and yes, had just the right amount of time spent in the bedroom. I love Brittney Sahin's male characters and our hero in this novel, Cade, is no different. He's got a past and a good heart, he just needed the right woman. And Gia? I repeat, I loved her! Definitely recommend pre-ordering this one and reading it as soon as it releases.
I was pretty excited to meet Cade King! I already met the man in Someone Like you and well, I never could resist such a mystery like him. Even if Corbin was the one I wanted a story for asap, I knew Cade will be just as good.
If you want to read My Every Breath as a standalone, you should go for it. Even if Grace & Noah make a small appearance, you won’t have to much of them. You can still enjoy this one and then read the other if you want. And I’m usually not reading books out of order so if I say you can, believe me you’re safe.
My Every Breath was a race to stay alive and escape. The time reading this book will fly by. Buckled up because Cade & Gia have lots to hide, to reveal and to learn. Don’t settle for what you see because it won’t be what you get! Brittney Sahin will keep you on your toes all along! I’ve discovered her writing with Someone Like You and I was already in awe with her ability to surprise me constantly. No other author give me the element of surprise like she does. It’s most definitely one of her strength and why she can now count on me to read everything single book she wants to give her readers.
Cade is a business man used to command. He has power and he’s power. When he meets Gia, he doesn’t know to which extent his life is going to change, how little control he’ll have. No matter what, helping her is not a question, it’s a matter of doing the right thing now once and for all. Gia wants out of her life. She never asked to be the daughter of a hitman and she never asked to be close to the Irish mob. She wants to go back to her roots, to find a purpose and finally be herself by herself.
From the start, Cade & Gia are together against the world if you can put it that way. The development of their relation felt real and good. The tension quickly grows to become unbearable at some point. This is not only a story of a man saving the girl. Nope nothing is easy and certainly not the girl.
Strong-minded characters, a storyline keeping you at the edge of your seat and chemistry giving your chills, My Every Breath is a must read, a top favorite of mine for 2018.
Now I’m going to read Brittney’s entire backlist beginning with Connor’s story, The Hard Truth ~ I voluntary read a copy of this book provided by the author ~
Suspense, intrigue, forbidden love -- all great qualifiers in my eyes, but I found this easy to put down and come back to later, hence the lower rating. However, I really enjoyed the action of the story.
Gia is knee-deep in the Irish mob because her father is, which makes it almost impossible to escape, although she's tried. When she starts digging into the disappearance of her mother years ago, she begins to craft a plan for not only escape but a rescue of her mother in Brazil.
Plans go awry when a man walks into the club owned by the mob, a man who definitely doesn't belong but neither can keep their eyes off the other.
Cade, a business-mogul by trade, knows of the Irish mob and how much danger a girl like Gia could be in in that world. When she shows up to warn him away, he realizes that he's got to get her out, despite never doing something like that before.
Sinner or saint? I'm beginning to think that, when I'm with Cade, I can be both.
What follows is a race against the clock to not only get her out of NYC, but to a safe location; one where the head of the mob won't find her. But Gia also has another agenda; one that Cade doesn't know about, something that could risk everything they've been working toward.
It was an adventure in foreign places, and definitely tickled my 'danger' bone. The ending was satisfying, so I'm glad I stuck around.
Cade was a great alpha hero, and Gia was no simpering heroine either, which I liked a lot. Their connection toward the middle of the book was fiery hot.
I'd be interested in reading the stories of the SEALs mentioned in the book, too.
Nice read with very little angst. This is the story of Gia and Cade. Gia is a girl stuck in the Irish Mafia with seemingly no where to run. Until she meets Cade. And believe me, I would have run to him too. With Cade's connections, money, and cocky confidence, she may just have a chance. She has one hope in getting away and that is to find her mom. Gia's problem is putting all her trust in Cade and also putting him in danger.
I enjoyed the book and the secondary characters. Would love to learn more about Corbin, Cade's reckless, streetcar racing brother.
I recommend this to mafia story lovers, but with very little descriptive torture or violence. It was actually done very well in that regard.
I received an ARC of this book through NetGalley for an honest review.
When what was supposed to be a boys night out turns into a night of mayhem and impending doom, what's a man supposed to do? Oh wait, you become entranced by not only the most beautiful woman you've ever seen but the most dangerous. Just breathe!
Cade King is disciplined. He controls his family's business, his surrounding environment. Until Gia Callaghan makes an appearance in his world. She's unreal and unfortunately, connected and tied to the Irish Mob. But one look and their course was set. They must learn to trust and rely on each other, something that neither can fathom doing.
Cade is without a doubt an alpha. He sets plans into motion, controls hidden factors and makes the tough decisions. Past relationships, both family and personal, guide Cade but heaven help him, Gia is turning him inside out. He's unraveled secrets that can destroy lives but being Cade King, he's going to correct and conquer. And our beautiful Gia, a woman that's lived a life of fear still stands strong, never wavering from her decision even if it costs her everything. Each obsessed with righting a wrong, both willing to put everything on the line.
Sahin has created a storyline that will leave you obsessed with turning the page to finish this story. Not only are the characters relatable but the storyline is very real in today's world. Sahin's research and attention to detail allows a vivid and frightening picture of life's reality. Suspense, drama, a strong heroine, scorching hot physical chemistry and an alpha that will literally leave you breathless as you read. Friends, enemies and debts are about to be paid.
This is Sahin at her best! Absolutely recommend this story!
I voluntarily received this ARC. This is an honest, personal Review.
Cade is a powerful CEO dealing with personal and family mistakes that have haunted him for years. One of those mistakes ultimately comes to a head when he meets Gia at a mob-run club. As soon as he sees her, he knows he has seen her before, but he can't remember where. When he sees Gia being manhandled by Rory, a mob boss, he tries to intervene and unwittingly becomes the mob's next target. Gia is not only trying to escape from Rory's possessive control and her hitman father's terrible past, but is also searching for her mother. When she hears of Rory's plans for Cade, she looks for him to try to warn him. Cade, a man with means and military help, decides to help Gia escape from Rory and the mob.
This is the first book I have read by Brittney Sahin and I thoroughly enjoyed this story. From the moment Cade met Gia, I knew the scenes between these two were going to be hot. Cade was hooked on her from the beginning and could not let her go. Gia was more stubborn to admit her feelings for Cade, but Cade was determined to win her over. The story is definitely suspenseful and the discoveries that Gia and Cade made definitely shocked me. This is a complete story even though it is part of a series and it has a wonderful HEA.
I received an ARC copy of this book from NetGalley and BookBuzz.net for my honest review.
I don’t normally get on with mob stories but I honestly loved this one!
Throughout the whole story you was gripped and on the edge of your seat, I loved the action packed storyline and the characters you could really connect with...Cade is just wow so damm lovely and you just wish you could be in his arms....I loved how he fought his feelings but deep down you just knew he wanted Gia....now Gia you love the fight in her, she isn’t one to back down and let others take over, she will definitely fight along with you.
Brittney has really produced a gripping story, one that definitely can keep you hooked, definitely in my eyes deserves a 5 ⭐️ read and one that I would recommend to people who love good mob story.
My Every Breath is a fitting title for a mob story that made you feel at times your own breath is being stolen. From the excitement , to the non top action and unbelievably sexy encounters, this was one of those stories that will have you on the pins and needles for future releases from this author.
Gia knows all about the business of the Irish mob. After all, she belongs to one and when they claim you as their own, there's no way out. But if it’s one thing about Gia, is that she refuses to be the property of one of the most dangerous man around. With a plan in place and sheer determination, freedom is now only a breath away. Or so she thinks. What happens when someone you least you least expect, suddenly changes the course of your plans?
Business man by day, sweet charmer at night, Cade knows just how far the Irish mob can go. Eight years ago with a chance encounter and trying to save someone that was untouchable , Cade is now determined to do things right. But how far is he willing to go to protect a woman who might not make it out alive?
I liked that this was a somewhat fast paced story and it made us as readers, excited to turn the page and find out more. The beginning for me was difficult because I wasn’t fully invested in these characters and the connection just wasn’t there. But as I got further along in the book, l started to enjoy it a lot more and I felt the underlying danger and sexual attraction so I’m glad I stuck with this one.
If you’re looking for a sexy mob romance, this one is for you.
We met Cade King in “Someone Like You”, he’s Grace Parker-King’s big brother and not a nice guy or is he?
Cade is the new owner and CEO of his family’s business. After living his life under his father’s control, including a brief engagement for the sake of business, he is making changes, working to be less of an arrogant asshole to people. While at a bachelor party for a friend he meets Gia. She is beautiful, mysterious and apparently impervious to his charm. Cade feels drawn to her, which confuses an intrigues him. He is used to being in control and having women fawn all over him. When Gia walks away, Cade follows.
He overhears a threatening conversation between Gia & a man and feels compelled to intervene. When Gia rejects him again he leaves the club. Days later he is unable to stop thinking about her and why she seemed familiar to him. What was it about her that ignites a desire for him to protect her. After some digging, he realizes Rory, the man she was with, is involved in the Irish mob and has ties to other deadly criminals. Gia’s mom went missing 10 years ago, she was forced to leave her home in Rio to move to NY and live with her dad, who works for Rory.
Cade tells himself to walk away, only he can’t. Seems he is determined to right a wrong from his past and it involves helping Gia escape from Rory’s clutches and find out what happened to her mom.
A couple of friends from the Stealth Ops world come along for the ride. As usual, the story is action packed and filled with twists & turns. Cade & Gia’s story is ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ with plenty of spice and 🔥🔥🔥!
I love Brittney's character and I couldn't wait for Cade's book. I hope you guys were familiar with him from last book if not I suggest that you do. You won't be lost because Brittney explains who is who but it would just be better for you if you do. Cade is a true alpha and I loved him in this book he is going to protect Gia no matter what. Secrets do come out and more is involved than just protecting Gia, but I wont get into it because I will not give spoilers, then you wont read and enjoy it. I loved reading about Conner and Mason again even if it was just a little. Can't wait for the next brother.
I read this book in one afternoon! In my opinion, this is Brittney Sahin’s best novel. Although I’ve enjoyed all of them, the character’s stakes were higher, and the plot continued to deliver twist after twist. As usual, Brittney’s strong writing pulls you into the story as she paints a world with suspense and rich characters you’ll fall in love with.
This is a story that is standalone, but to understand background characters and family relationships I would recommend reading Someone Like You, but it's completely voluntarily. Cade - a man that took the path of his father. He is alone, wants control and he will go for being rich without hesitation. Or that is what I was thinking in SLY - here he is DIFFERENT, still a$$hole... but yet from his perspective, it's something more there. I enjoyed his part when I understood him. Gia - she was a character that had something in her. She seemed fragile, yet so strong. She and Cade are a great match, their feelings and emotions will be growing fast. She is like an ancient heroine, that would stand in front of a whole army without a fear! Great characters, intriguing plot and the style that will make you hooked!
Another great romantic suspense from Brittney Sahin with a bit of a forbidden romance paired with a MMC grumpy millionaire. A perfect combo.
About the only thing I found unusual about this book was that I found Gia to be one of my least favourite female characters that she's written in some time. She started off so well and then kinda went downhill from there. I found it difficult to sympathize with her and her losses. Whereas I think Cade, who should have been what you might consider cold, was actually the opposite.
I was completely surprised by the appearance of Connor and his brother Mason from the Hidden Truths series, and of course, the introduction of Mya, whose book I've read in the Falcon Falls series. Again, Sahin's ability to weave her characters together is always enjoyable, but this was one of her earlier series that I hadn't read, so it was great seeing them woven into Cade and Gia's story.
Now I do wonder what happens to Corbin. I think he's been forgotten... hopefully not :)
How do you overcome your father’s manipulation and repent for your sins?
What would you do if you feel like you are your father’s prisoner?
This is the story of Cade King and Gia Callahan. From two different worlds, their lives collide one night and takes the reader in a rollercoaster ride. Both souls are looking for redemption and found it together. This story is sad because it touches a very sensitive topic and happy at the same time because Cade and Gia found their own closures.
It was a slow start for me but when I hit the no turning back page, I devoured it like there's more than 24 hours in a day. I don't know how Brittney manages to blow my mind everytime she releases a new book. I love the crossover of characters from her other book. The supporting characters are very promising too. I can foresee a future for them :) This is definitely a must read!
I’m a sucker for a good mob book. This one was pretty good. There was quite a bit of suspense in it, very cloak and dagger towards the end. The beginning had me a little confused especially with Cade. It wasn’t clear what he did and it was just like oh hey, I’m going to insert myself in all this mob biz because Gia is sexy. Huh? That part was weird but other than that, it was a solid story.
*ARC received through Netgalley for an honest review *
I think this is Brittney Sahin best work yet! I’ve read all of her previous books and loved them all. After reading Someone Like You , I didn’t like Cade very much ! That changed quickly once I started My Every Breath . The story was fast paced and exciting, the love story was hot, and Cade and Gia were perfect for each other ! I was lucky enough to read an ARC early from the author , so I can for sure tell you to 1-click this one , and then check out her backlist if you haven’t read her before! You’ll be happy you did !
5 STARS FOR MY EVERY BREATH!! Wow, this Book was a page turner, I could not put it down. There was so much suspense, sexy times, fantastic characters and surprises in this story. Cade and Gia had chemistry from their first meeting and these two will burn your kindles up. This is my second book by Brittney Sahin and I glad I found her, she is a phenomenal storyteller. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
A boys night out finds Cade in a strip club, where he’d rather not be, that is until he sees Gia, and he’s hooked. Gia is buying time before she gets away from the lifestyle she’s been thrown into, and then there is Cade, and he escalates all the plans she has when he helps her get away and keeps her safe. While on the run, they both fall for each other, but with both their pasts, how could they ever have a future?
I liked the story line, and the characters in this story. I’d recommend it this book.
*Received as an ARC for an exchange of the honest review*
This plot is similar to other books I read but its still an overall great book. Its a tad long for my liking but it still keeps you entertained with all the suspense that goes on in this book. I just wished we had Rory point of view to see how he felt.
As a function of his extremely dysfunctional upbringing, Cade is a dominating cold man trying to figure out how to change, if he wants to change and how to be a real brother to his siblings. Gia is a beautiful mob hitman's daughter trying to find out what happened to her mother and avoid the unwanted advances of the mob's boss. When they first meet it's all chemistry with a side of danger. But Gia wakes something up in Cade and as the story progresses, he softens, he evolves and he becomes human. This book will keep you reading as soon as you start until you reach the end. The characters seem so real and the story is so intriguing. Can hardly wait until the next book!
This book, my first by this author, is full of action and suspense. The two main characters, Cade and Gia, are complex and have suffered through very difficult times. I love the alpha-hero type who knows the heroine must be his the moment he sees her, and Cade definitely fits that description. The things Gia experienced in her past were so disturbing, and my heart went out to her as she fought to escape her circumstances. The tone of this one is definitely dark, but it is a riveting read. I definitely recommend this one and look forward to reading more by this author.
Thank you to NetGalley and BookBuzz.net for providing an ARC for review.
Oh the twists and turns! This is one of those books with such a well defined, developed, and intrical plot you can't help but read it all at once! Cade and Gia are on one hell of a journey! So buckle up! It's going to be a fun ride!
“I don’t know if I believe in redemption.” “But I want to do what’s right. I want to help you.”
My Every Breath is my second read by author Brittney Sahin and let me tell you, I can not wait to discover more from this author. From the moment that I saw the cover of this book, I couldn’t have been more excited to get my hands on it. And I gotta say, this book was worth the wait.
From the moment I picked up this book, I was sucked in. I couldn’t wait to dive into Cade and Gia’s story. You see, when we first meet up with Cade, he’s supposed to be having a night out with the boys. Only that night out would turn Cade’s world upside down. That night is the night he meets Gia. Gia is stunning and smart. She’s everything Cade should stay away from, but is powerless when it comes to their pull. Their connection is instant and overwhelming in the best way. From their quick banter and mysterious pasts, these two are more a like than you might think. They’ve both made mistakes and both would change their pasts if they could. And there’s just something about Gia that makes Cade want to protect her. For once in his life, he wants to do what’s right and help someone out. Gia makes him want to be a better man.
Overall, I really enjoyed this story. My Every Breath hits the ground running and never looks back. This story is action packed and filled with secrets and lots of twists. I found the characters to be perfectly flawed and easy to relate to. I thought Gia and Cade were a terrific match for each other. Not only did they twist each other up in knots, but they were both stubborn and afraid to give away their trust. Cade was totally alpha and was determined to not only protect Gia, but to win her over for himself. The chemistry between Cade and Gia just sizzled and these two definitely steamed up the pages together.
I enjoyed every moment of this story from beginning to end. I loved getting swept up in Cade and Gia’s story. It had the perfect balance of suspense, action, sexy good times and characters that just left you begging for more.
I can’t wait to see what this author has in store for her readers next.
*I was provided an ARC copy of this book, in exchange for an honest review*
The man I loved to hate in Someone Like You, the cold hearted brother with a wall surrounding him making him more like a robot with no emotions, a man who shows a bit of his real self, cracking that wall a bit near the end, Cade. Brittney Sahin knows how to tell a story, knows how to twist your assumptions and emotions, to go from hating a character to loving and wanting him all to yourself. Cade, the ruthless man and some even considered a monster gets tangled up in Gia’s web, the daughter of a hitman with ties to the Irish mob. He meets her at a strip club and goes to defend her, only to have her turn around and go against him so she can protect him. But the head of the mob, Rory, wants Gia and will kill any one who gets close to Gia to keep her in line, he now has his sights on Cade. Gia doesn’t want another innocent to get hurt and warns Cade but that only stokes his need to protect her and will do anything to do it, which only causes him to upheaval his life and those he loves around him to keep everyone safe as he goes head to head with the mob boss and her dad, a ruthless hitman. What a story filled with suspense, betrayals, lies, secrets and oh my my my my steamy, fog up the mirror sensual steamy scenes. I did hate Cade in the beginning, a womanizing man wh*** who didn’t go a few days w/o bedding a different woman, all cold and calculating, no emotions and no real compassion or kindness shining through. He was protective of his brother and sister’s family, letting the facade crack a bit and then with Gia as they got to know one another, his walls came tumbling down piece by piece....a different man altogether by the end. And what a man he is as we learn all his deep secrets and find out why he is the way he is and the hate turns to love and understanding. Gia was a force to be reckoned with as well, a strong, determined, compassionate woman who finally gets through to Cade as they run for their lives, hiding and trying to keep one step ahead of Rory and her father. A read that had my heart beating fast with the suspense and danger, spine tingling with the steam, and tears streaming down my face near the end. A read that had my emotions changing from hate to love, a read with many twists and turns I didn’t see coming, a read that had many characters from previous books coming together to help Cade and Gia making me want to go back and read all the previous books. A read I couldn’t put down till I was done and now I can’t wait for the next book from this talented author.
Brittney Sahin has developed another fine story with the perfect balance of romance and intrigue. MY EVERY BREATH certainly makes you hold yours every now and then as Cade King helps Gia Callaghan sever a decade worth of ties to the Irish mob. From Manhattan to Miami, and from Cuba to Brazil, it seems there is nowhere she can hide that the mob can’t find her.
We first met Cade in Someone Like You, and man, did he make the wrong impression. At the time, the King family was run by the pater familias, a real controlling bastard who managed his children like assets.
Cade was his number two and was forced into the farce of an engagement to the governor’s daughter. But life and excitement happened, and the senior King was overthrown and ousted by his children. In My Every Breath, we finally get to see into the heart of Cade, to the truly dynamic man he is.
A chance meeting in a strip bar during a bachelor party changed Gia’s trajectory, altering the escape she’s been planning for a while. Ten years ago, her mother was kidnapped from Brazil and her father, a hitman for the Irish mob, retrieved her and brought her back to NYC … where he deposited her in the hornet’s nest. And with the new head of the mob becoming more aggressive in his pursuit of her, Gia knows it’s time to make her break … only, Rory witnesses her interaction with Cade at the bar. It’s a dangerous situation to be in the cross hairs of a man who’s “violent for the sake of violence.”
Torn between escaping to finally search for her mother and warning Cade, Gia risks discovery in order to warn Cade.
There’s a lot happening in this story, but Sahin sets a brisk pace and keeps the flow moving smoothly. Terrorists, human traffickers, Hezbollah, the Irish mob, corporate businessmen … who knew such cutthroat tactics were shared by so many cadres?
Sahin is a great storyteller, with a knack for beautiful wording. Like this: If I froze every tear that’s fallen over the years, I could make my own icy pond. Maybe even a lake. I’ll tell you, this is one indie author going on my keeper shelf.
