Treacherous allies, allied traitors, the final step…

Maggie Evans thought she had everything figured out. Protect her otherworldly community, live in the moment in between all that, and survive as long as possible. Never did she imagine she’d want more than to just survive. Not until life itself kicks her in the butt, in the form of a simple question, showing her she can have it all. But wanting it all, and believing she can have it, are not the same things.

Nate Hansen has settled into his new life and job, juggling the mundane with the supernatural of Maggie’s world. Everything would be easy if not for his friend and former partner investigating his girlfriend’s suspicious life, not to mention all her enemies circling her. If there’s one thing Nate knows, it’s that he wants Maggie in his life, but that might prove difficult with both nefarious government agents and shifty corporate operatives wanting her incredibly valuable ability for their own gains.

When faced with the fact that Maggie’s community has once again thrown one of its own under the bus, she and Nate set out to right that wrong while aided by a love-stricken computer expert, shapeshifters, and more questionable allies. As their enemies finally begin culling the strongest of her kind, she and Nate must put their minds together to stop the cruelty unleashed upon the town of Ashport. In the end, the worst monster may be hiding in plain sight...

„Convergence“ the final installment in “The Ashport Mender Series”, a mystery/paranormal UF set in Ashport, the quintessential nice tourist nice town, full of secrets the tourist would never learn about.

Nate Hansen (MMC) has finally found a way to juggle his police duties and the supernatural community Maggie (FMC) belongs to, but things get messy when his best friend decides to investigate Maggie and her friends, catching Nate once more in the middle. Maggie wants Nate in her life, but the risk to exposure, and with it exploitation by the governmental agencies is too high. When the supernatural community turns on one of their own, it’s up to Nate and Maggie to find the culprit and save the day again.

G.K. Lund has crafted once more a very interesting plot interweaving elements of mystery, procedural, urban fantasy and paranormal romance into a intriguing and very well-written story, with captivating characters and realistic setting. Another fast-paced, action packed story, that brings the reader right into the action along with the MCs, fevering towards the resolution. A worthy closure to an excellent series.

Fast paced and action packed rollercoaster ride of twists and turns with lots of ups and downs. Another great book in this series. Knowing that this was the last one was has left me saddened. Maggie and Nate are so relatable and likeable. You really care for and about the characters. Some will shock you and disappoint. While others will make you go No Way! Excellent read with some steamy parts.
