Your Brain, The Engine to Your Body, is a really great book for those interested in how the brain works. It provides a clear and detailed explanation filled with helpful illustrations that make it a lot easier to understand the sometimes complex information. I especially like the sections that include tips and tricks for getting better sleep, staying hydrated, etc, and I feel that I have a better understanding of how the brain works after reading it.
I read another of this author's books before getting this one, titled Biomechanics of Your Body, which covers all of the bones and muscles. Like that book, I will keep this handy for quick reference, especially so I can remember the tips and go over the exercise.
I recommend this book to anyone who wants to learn more about how the brain works and how to keep it healthy.

The brain truly is the most crucial organ of the body. In her book, Tracy Markley introduces tips, tricks, facts, and exercises to keep your brain healthy and strong. From hydration to eating the right foods, exercising, and yes, breathing, this book is filled with information that will enrich your mind to the point of wanting to care for your brain better. Appropriate for readers of all ages, there are ways to care for your brain and have it be at its best.

I immediately noticed the amount of facts present in this book. They were well-presented in not being too descriptive but clear, and most importantly Markley simply stated the facts without preaching. I do love when authors have deep amounts of passion and love that carries through while showcasing the research, tips, and exercises. I also love how simple the steps are, and we don't have to make drastic changes all at once to improve our brain health. The book was exceptionally written, edited, and structured. For these reasons, it’s my honor to award this book five stars.

The brain is one of the largest and most complex organs in our body.

The Author suggests many tips in this book that will help to be  "Young at Brain" at any age of life by describing and illustrating with her client's recovery journey from the brain injuries, strokes and to those who were facing neurological issues.

This book has a systematic explanation of Core and Spine strengthening and it shows the amount of extensive study, hardwork and experience the author has in order to write this book.

It provides great guidance for stroke recovery patients by suggesting them physical postures, exercises with pictures, active examples with tools & equipment and its safety while using the same as well.

I highly recommend everyone to read this book to acquire knowledge of brain and how to keep it young as well as to learn about brain injuries, strokes, neurological issues and its recoveries in simple understandable condense form.
