Charity Phillips is a mom, divorcee, minister and therapist, but juggling all those titles get's a little out of hand when her abusive ex decides he wants full custody of their son. She has also a pen pal to a minister who happens to be incarcerated. The story shows how god can do the impossible, even when we mess up. I hope I can find other stories from this author.

The author Latonya Mason introduces Good to Me her debut novel. Mason provides her readers with an easy read format with this novel. Good to Me shares the triumphs of one’s Faith, Love, Self-worth, deception, and the haunting of one’s past. The books main character, Charity Phillips is a mom, divorcee, minister and therapist. Charity Phillips is a woman that has overcome the triumphs of her haunting past. The book opens by way of introducing the open house of Phillips private counseling practice as a licensed therapist. Phillips is also fulfilling the role as a minister at her place of worship. She allows her faith to guide her in ministry and in the workplace with her clients and subordinates. Although, she seems to have it all Charity soon experiences an escalated effect of juggling her life without balance. As a result Phillips experiences are used to test all that she believes and teaches others. Charity soon learns a lesson in self-worth, trusting god and finding a healthy balance in her life. This book like mention before is an easy read, yet I felt like the book should have had more. Overall, the book was just okay for me. Yet I like that the book does share real life issues and triumphs.

Though the characters were engaging the story line had no believability.
