This is a graphical book about the main characters of the Harry Potter book. If you are Harry Potter fan, this book is for you. There are interesting facts about characters that you definitely never heard of them. There are specific details of the favorite characters of the Harry Potter book which fan would love to know. The details are very rare and surprising. The graphics of this book are very attractive and engaging.
2.5 ⭐️ I liked the idea of this short graphic novel but for true Harry Potter fans, there weren’t many “new” facts amongst the characters profiles. The inconsistencies with the graphics bothered the heck out of me too. It was off they done graphics were depictions of the live star actors while others were cartoons by different artists. I did like learning all of the characters birthdays. I think if this book had consistent graphics, more facts, and included more characters like Neville, the Weasley family, Sirius Black, the Dursleys, etc. it would have been wonderful.
The book is a good introduction to a few characters. Loved the illustrations and the fun fact presentation. Reading this book with kids was fun. There were a few spelling errors in thw Kindle version we read, and it stuck out. Overall a good one to relive the Pottermania. Would rate it a 3.8
I did not like this book as it is not spellchecked and has wrong information. For example, Harry's skill is not the Dark Arts. And he's in 'Gryffindor' not Greyffindor. In a picture of shows Ron has GREEN EYES!?!!?!? Potterheads, stay away from this book. And Non-Potterheads who are reading this book as their first Harry Potter book, read J K Rowling first and you will understand everything I just said.
Numerous spelling errors. Was not proof read. No new info that wasn’t in the books or movies. Someone’s school project that ended up on Kindle Unlimited for some reason
Another short read to pass the time while my son drifts off to sleep..
Thankfully it was free with kindle unlimited because I would have been deeply disappointed if I had paid for it.
Pros- The art work throughout the book was stunning!! It was definitely my favourite thing about this book and the facts given where correct, albeit there was very few facts.
Cons- Firstly, the title was very misleading. The term 'secrets' implies that there is either new information inside or information that is little known unless you are a huge fan. Unfortunately neither option was true for this book as all the facts are commonly known and easily found in either the original books, movies, Pottermore or Harry Potter wiki.
Additionally, the spelling and grammatical errors ruined the tone of the book. Now, I do realise that English is not the first language of the author but, that does not excuse the fact that simple mistakes where ignored.
For me what was so good about this book was the illustrations, though it did repeat quite a few things I already know about Harry Potter, I thought that given it was titled The secret of characters it didn’t really have many secrets of the characters. I would say that 4/17 of the characters had secrets which is why it couldn’t earn 5 stars here.
This pictorial guide to the significant characters in the potter series is a quick fun read. It provides a background overview of students teachers and other figures
The colors are vibrant and the characters images well defined. I've rad all of the Harry Potter books and still learned some things. It doesn't take long to read and is delightful
Unsure of why Kindle Unlimited recommended this to me - cool in the sense of photos for a graphic novel, but no new information or anything apart from a biography summary with various spelling mistakes throughout
I thought this was lovely. I love how each character had different illustrations, before the movies we had our own ideas of what they looked like so I love that there were different views of them. Very cool
Badly written, with only basic already known information. Also spelling errors - for a Harry Potter book, not being able to spell Gryffindor is really bad.

No new information, misspelled words, some incorrect information, and no original artwork. At least they credited the original artists. Don’t recommend.
